The reason why I remembered to write a good review is because it is that time of the year again when I register with the wonderful team headed by their director, Nichelle. They are absolutely trustworthy and really took care of my daughter. Where do I begin to tell everyone about how this camp has helped my daughther find her voice and purpose? She was such a shy wall flower when we discovered this because a friend highly recommended this to us as her son has been going as well for years (just a side note, her son has been diagnosed with autism and they have been very great in taking care of him. He is amazing on stage!). My daughter have made friends who have been going to this camp for years as well. Her camp counselors always took such good care of her and even extended after the camp. She was able to audition for a wonderful play because of her recommendation. Whatvan amazing opportunity. Oh my gosh the camp. She enjoys it the and topics are amazing. She meets with acclaimed casting directors and other people from the indisustry and has helped her so much with her auditions. She likes the make up and props classes. She loves the live audience shoots!! We are so proud watching her act and do monologues. All in all, we will continue sending her to this camp. I am glad to know that they now have daily acting classes whole year round. We are checking out the voice over classes in Claremont. Thank you Young Actor's Camp and see you soon!

She loved it! There are a lot of international students from abroad, so there are many kids to mingle and mix with to enhance the experience and the camp is run very efficiently with a lot of supervision. I only signed her up for two weeks this year, and she was truly sad when she had to leave...I would definitely send her back in a heartbeat! This is a GREAT summer camp for teens!!

Whether it's helping a customer decide or if this review gives the company feedback they can work on. On 10/31-I had emailed Susie, the Executive Director, inquiring on performing at my wedding (which is 8 months away). She responded back that day, with a template email showing prices but I had a follow up question as her email said, "Additional fee for travel outside LA County". I emailed back to inquire what the fee amount was, as the wedding would be held in Orange County. Susie did not response 24 hour later (which is the professional time frame). Nor did she respond a few days later, nor a week later, nor two weeks later. I began to feel upset as I follow them on social media and see their recent postings. So Susie can post online but not respond to my inquiring on hiring them? Isn't this a business? Don't they want customers? So I decided to email Susie again, asking my question again and letting her know I haven't received a response from my email 2 weeks ago. This time it took her another FIVE days to respond. After her response, the rates increased more than DOUBLE ($2500 for 2 hours) what she had originally told me. I could definitely budget this high price, but now I don't trust them. If they can't be professional, treat me like a customer, then what will happen if I book them? Will I worry about accountability, communication and them showing up? To sum up, the girls are amazing performers, as I've seen them before at an event but unfortunately Susie is giving them a bad reputation. Maybe they should have someone else in charge of inquiries or else they'll continue to lose customers.

Usually people jump on an inquiry that's willing to pay for your services. Reading the reviews, it seems like this is a occurrence, and maybe someone else should be in charge of the bookings? We saw these ladies live a few months and loved their performance, its a shame that they are horrible with responding. We will have to go with another mariachi band.

One of the most valuable skills developed is to overcome stage fright. Ms Lulu encourages students to do self-introductions, modelling/cat-walk, sing, dance, and build overall stage presence. This may sound simple but can actually be quite challenging. Being able to confidently acquire this skill takes a dash of grit and more importantly - the opportunities to practice! Ms Lulu works hard to consistently create these opportunities for students in a wide variety of settings! From one-on-one voice lessons, to formal recitals, to community venues, to municipal events, to modelling at fashion shows, to filming music videos, to singing national anthems and performances at crowded sports stadiums, to highly advertised music events in crowded college campuses. Our daughter even got to experience singing in professional grade music recording studios! The value of these experiences in building a child's confidence is absolutely incredible! If your child is considering playing an instrument, sing, dance, or doing any sort of performing arts - This IS hands down the BEST studio! I highly recommend giving them a chance to help nurture and showcase your child's talents!

Usually the first class is free but I did pay $30 - $40 for each trial class. My son didn't like the robotics class at all. He said the instructor was having a hard time keeping the kids engaged or on task. He also said the classroom was dirty and there were not enough parts or components so they had to get some from other rooms. As a new trial student you would think the instructor would give some background or guidance but he said there was no explanation or instruction from the instructor on what was going on. She was just helping kids that needed help or find parts for them. He knew one of the other kids in the class so he just sat next to him and observed (not sure why I had to pay for him to just sit & observe). He was supposed to take the coding class right after, but he was already done and didn't want to go back inside. We went after school on a Friday so he was already tired. Since I already paid for both trials, I rescheduled the coding class. They were very accommodating & rescheduled us a couple of times. He said this coding class was much better and the instructor was better. All the coding was done on the computer. My impression from the 3 times I walked in was it's chaotic: kids darting here and there and some parents picking up their kids. There are tables with robotics and coding plaques or instruments by the entrance and hallways, cluttered & dusty. The 2 young gals there were very nice but just sitting at their desks looking at their computer monitors amidst the chaos. They didn't ask him how the trial class went. Didn't seem organized or clean. I had high hopes with all the 5 star reviews on yelp but was not impressed. It's in a narrow and long strip mall with different businesses: a dentist and 2 - 3 other tutoring type afterschool places. Looks like a lot of local kids hang out after school. My son has gone to a dozen or so lego, coding and robotics camps over the last 2 summers and he said he prefers those classes/camps.
