Some of the best food I've had in a very long time. Just left and am already craving more! It's a big menu with such diverse options for anything you could be craving. This was our second visit to Beyond Biryani on California Street in Redlands but our first visit to the "all you can eat" lunch buffet (11 AM- 3PM Tuesday through Saturday). The buffet had a variety of vegetable and meat dishes including Sag Paneer, okra with potatoes, chickpeas with potatoes, eggplant, butter chicken, goat curry, tandoori chicken, yogurt curry, garlic and plain naan, samosas, pakoras, and several other selections. The dishes were wonderfully seasoned , some spicier than others, and there is a salad/fruit area with sauces and relishes to complement the meal. The staff was constantly replenishing the dishes with hot additions from the kitchen, and stopping by our table to see if we needed anything. This buffet is the perfect addition to Indian cuisine dining in Redlands. The buffet and lunch dining room are to the left of the main dining room, and two or three larger tables that seat 4-6, and a large number of smaller tables that seat 3-4. The background music reflects the Indian culture and cuisine without being so loud to prevent conversation. We look forward to our next visit Beyond Biryani! read more

Finally had a chance to check this place out the food was really good some stuff was a little salty but still they are getting into the rhythm of things one thing I wish is if the waitresses were more attentive to the customers they just drop the food off and leave they don't come back to check and see if you might need a refill they don't check to see if foods up to par but over I had a delicious meal absolutely stuffed and even had left over to take home and grub some more will definitely return here just hope the food taste and quality continues to rise and not decline like the rest of the Indian restaurant who start off really really good then the flavor slowly but surly declines read more

The naan and the plain rice were great! Super tasty rice, perfectly flaky naan. However, the chicken tikka masala was probably the worst tikka masala I've ever had in my life. It was oily, grey, and kinda grainy. Everyone has different desires for tikka masala so maybe to someone else it's really good. read more

Food: The food was ok. I was a born Hyderabadi brought up eating authentic Hyderabadi dum biryani every other day. I could say, I cannot compare this with authentic Hyderabadi dum biryani, but this is definitely better compared with surrounding local north Indian restaurants where most of them don't even know what authentic Hyderabadi biryani vs pulao is. They also need to work on portions sizes as they are a bit small. Food quality is average but the staff seem unorganized. A DoorDash order was cancelled by the restaurant as the items were not available. On another instance a take out order for mutton biriyani turned out to be vegetarian biriyani even though I expected a call from the restaurant when they realized the error. Did not have the time to return and have this corrected. Perhaps, the number of items on the menu could be reduced initially to avoid 'the lack of ingredients' situation.
