Beware if you have curly hair. Alice butchered this haircut: she cut 4 extra inches off than what was asked for. 4 inches more! If you have long hair, you understand what this means. In all fairness, she should not be cutting curly hair. Period. To make matters worse, she has no problem shaming a customer when it comes to curly hair. That should've been a red flag but by then it was too late. To make matters worse, the manager is rude and unprofessional. Instead of being accountable for her staff's actions, she prefers to yell and berate. They are quite a pair. I don't know where this holds up at any other place of business. Stay away. read more

I decided last minute (on Saturday) to get my makeup done for my baby shower (Sunday) and found this place on yelp. I called and was thankfully able to get an appointment for 8am. Let's start with, I hate makeup. I put it on a handful of times a year and this was going to be my second time putting lashes on my face. Which I utterly hate Alice was very nice from the moment I walked in. She was also very patient with my fidgeting and dislike of makeup. Even though I've only had lashes put on twice, she was very good at it. It did not take them long to settle and I lost the need to rip them off within 10min of them being there. The last time I put lashes on I was bothered for the first 3 hours She did an absolutely amazing job and was a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be coming back ! read more

Beyond amazing!! I went in for hair and makeup for a wedding. I went in with a small vision of how I wanted my hair to look and Emi brought my vision to life! Paid attention to every little detail. Made sure every curl was perfect and pinned tight. Hair lasted all day and night! Alice did my makeup and wow!! I am someone who loves light and natural makeup. When I tell you she did just that, she blew me away with my makeup! I did not come in with a look in mind and she got it perfect. Asked to make sure I was happy with my look before leaving the salon. That makeup was flawless all day and night!! I am just blown away with their work! Definitely recommending and coming back myself!! read more

Took my daughter here last minute on a Saturday, she had a bad knot that I couldn't take off after an hour working on it, I was sure we were going to have to cut her beautiful hair really short. Emy took care of my daughter, was very patient and super super nice!!! She managed to untangle the horrible knot, washed, trimmed and gave treatment to the hair and left it silky soft and beautiful. We are definitely coming back here. My daughter was happy and said Emy was the nicest lady ever! read more

I was looking for a last minute, on-location professional makeup artist who could also use airbrush for a music video, and Alice was the first and only call I needed to make. She not only came to the rescue, she brought along Angie to help with hair. These ladies made me look and feel like a movie star. They stayed the whole 12 hours to help me with touch ups throughout the shoot and two looks total. Beyond Beauty Parlor goes WAY above and beyond and I had such a beautiful experience. I can not wait to work with her and her team again soon. Stop searching and book Alice now! read more

Alice is a life saver! I came into the salon with extremely matted damaged hair. I had itip extensions and needed them removed and reinstalled before an event. Alice patiently spent 8 hours trying to detangle my hair and was able to reinstall it the very next day just in time for my event. It was a really difficult task given my hair was in such a damaged fragile state. I'm so thankful for her she's the absolute best can't recommend this salon enough. They truly go above and beyond for there clients!! read more

I found Armine 8 years ago when I needed an updo for an awards show. After a few years of updo's, she started doing my highlights, complete color changes and eventually extensions. I trust Armine with all of my hair care needs. Today she redid my extensions and as always, my hair looks amazing and healthy when she's done. Change in hair coloring first 2 pictures, 3rd picture is before and after extensions. Thanks Armine for another successful adventure with my hair! read more

I have to give a great review for Armine She cut & colored my hair & two days in a row people have stopped me to tell me how gorgeous my hair looks that's the best review thank you Armine read more

I did NOT know hair salons require a tip, specially if you ONLY take cash. I never even asked for a discount, it was just offered and yet talked crap behind my back. On top of that the second visit to this salon my hair was ruined beyond being able to fix. My hair had a bit of damage to it from before but the second visit here my hair was completely burnt. I don't think I've ever damaged my own hair to this extent. I'm afraid to wash my hair or even comb. My hair falls with the smallest touch. I thought Emi was carrying when it came to hair...I guess I thought wrong. I will definitely never go back to this place. Not worth my time or money. read more

I had the dynamic duo that is Anasheh (hair) & Alice (make up) work their magic on me a few days ago. Anasheh gave me the most romantic, 1920's inspired up do. I can easily say my favorite updo that I have EVER had. We went darker with the hair (she is a color genius also btw) and secured a beautiful piece in the back. Ugh, I want to go in to get this updo like every week now. If only I had the occasion every week. I spur of the moment decided to see Alice for make up and ohhhhhh my goodness was that the best decision ever. I'm typically pretty picky with my make up, but Alice is fierce. She really knows how to make your eyes pop and made my skin look flawless. I had a performance later on that evening and the make up lasted and read so well on stage. There's only a handful of people that I have likes as far as make up artists go. She's at the top of that list. read more

Emi was so sweet. She took me 40 minutes after my appointment and rushed to get me ready in time for my event. She did a great job styling my hair, and was nothing but sweet to me along the way. Be sure to pay attention to the address - there is a different salon with the same name just down the road, and the parking there is horrible. Here there is a lot with plenty of free parking. read more

Emi at Beyond Beauty Parlor is my hair guru. She does amazing things with my Asian hair. It is difficult to find someone who can get the cut and color exactly how I find it in magazines, but Emi has that touch. The staff there are always very friendly, and greet me with smiles. Emi has also done amazing updos for my short hair, and she works well on kids hair too. She did the cutest wedding hair do for my kids last year! Update - 2016 Emi does it again! She gave me a new look when I felt stuck in a rut with my hair. Best part was, the color she did for me a year earlier grew out so naturally that it looked like a new highlight with my new cut.
