I decided last minute (on Saturday) to get my makeup done for my baby shower (Sunday) and found this place on yelp. I called and was thankfully able to get an appointment for 8am. Let's start with, I hate makeup. I put it on a handful of times a year and this was going to be my second time putting lashes on my face. Which I utterly hate Alice was very nice from the moment I walked in. She was also very patient with my fidgeting and dislike of makeup. Even though I've only had lashes put on twice, she was very good at it. It did not take them long to settle and I lost the need to rip them off within 10min of them being there. The last time I put lashes on I was bothered for the first 3 hours She did an absolutely amazing job and was a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be coming back ! read more

Beware if you have curly hair. Alice butchered this haircut: she cut 4 extra inches off than what was asked for. 4 inches more! If you have long hair, you understand what this means. In all fairness, she should not be cutting curly hair. Period. To make matters worse, she has no problem shaming a customer when it comes to curly hair. That should've been a red flag but by then it was too late. To make matters worse, the manager is rude and unprofessional. Instead of being accountable for her staff's actions, she prefers to yell and berate. They are quite a pair. I don't know where this holds up at any other place of business. Stay away. read more

Took my daughter here last minute on a Saturday, she had a bad knot that I couldn't take off after an hour working on it, I was sure we were going to have to cut her beautiful hair really short. I was looking for a last minute, on-location professional makeup artist who could also use airbrush for a music video, and Alice was the first and only call I needed to make. Alice is a life saver! I came into the salon with extremely matted damaged hair. I had itip extensions and needed them removed and reinstalled before an event. Alice patiently spent 8 hours trying to detangle my hair and was able to reinstall it the very next day just in time for my event. It was a really difficult task given my hair was in such a damaged fragile state. I'm so thankful for her she's the absolute best can't recommend this salon enough. I did NOT know hair salons require a tip, specially if you ONLY take cash. I never even asked for a discount, it was just offered and yet talked crap behind my back. On top of that the second visit to this salon my hair was ruined beyond being able to fix. My hair had a bit of damage to it from before but the second visit here my hair was completely burnt. I don't think I've ever damaged my own hair to this extent. I'm afraid to wash my hair or even comb. My hair falls with the smallest touch. I had the dynamic duo that is Anasheh (hair) & Alice (make up) work their magic on me a few days ago. Anasheh gave me the most romantic, 1920's inspired up do. I can easily say my favorite updo that I have EVER had. We went darker with the hair (she is a color genius also btw) and secured a beautiful piece in the back. Ugh, I want to go in to get this updo like every week now. If only I had the occasion every week.
