The reason why I'm leaving a review though is to mention that the experience wasn't what I'd hope for. Being naïve with my first ever lash lift, I paid for my session and tipped. I'm sitting in my car trying to feel myself and these new lifted lashes, but all I could see was black residue from products she used. My lashes were also clearly unevenly curled which was unfortunate. I feel like Kay was not taking care of me, assisting other people while it was seconds from removing product from my lashes. I was never in a private room like the other clients, but sat in the main room where people entered and left the building. I'm not sure If I'll be coming back, but I'm desperately looking for a reliable place in Columbus still. Also I wanted to mention that she did tell me that if I called within the next week I could get them redone, but this was only if they had visibly fallen. As much as I hoped they would fall a little so I could get them redone, the lashes stay intact for the most part! It was the experience during and the results that really bummed me out!

I thank Shawna for her expertise and diligence to her craft for that. I met Shawna when she was at Salon Lofts in German Village and love her new location. 2016-present Annie Brown hair stylist and colorist. She has been helping me on my journey from greying dark brown hair to a lighter blonde. She cuts my hair as well and has recently encouraged me to embrace my curls! In a nutshell, the quality of the work done by the nail techs just isn't up to par. It seems as though they are hiring very green techs and they aren't receiving any training, therefore the quality hasn't stayed satisfactory. This last time the work was really bad. It took two hours for a basic gel mani and then I still didn't receive the full service. I was too shy to say anything or make a scene while I was there, so I waited until after I left. I emailed in to try and get them fixed and even then it then took almost a week of going back and forth, trying to book a new appointment... and they eventually ended up refunding me because they didn't have availability. That then meant that I had to figure out how to get them fixed elsewhere. This happened to my cousin the same exact week but at another location so I have a feeling it's across the board. Not sure if they are growing too fast or what, but it's a bummer. I've been going to either this or other locations for 3+ years, but now it's time to move on. I hope they're able to work it out.
