Before my services started, she listened to my skin concerns and mentioned a facial she thought would better accomplish my goals. She mentioned it would be slightly more expensive but did so in a way I felt free to choose and not just a goal to upcharge the experience. She also did a great job with my brow tint and gave me a card with some recommendations for future services and products.

I chose the prescription facial to get professional recommendations tailored to my skin's needs. I made it clear that my skin is sensitive and that I've had past issues with products triggering cystic acne on my chin. The esthetician was friendly, and the facial itself was very relaxing. Unfortunately, the products used caused my cystic acne to flare up, which was disappointing after spending over a year working to calm my skin. While the experience itself was pleasant, I wouldn't recommend getting a facial here for those with very sensitive or acne-prone skin.

Not only do I experience significantly less irritation but I find I get a smoother, better result. I find virtually none of the ultra fine baby hairs that get left behind when I wax. Skin & Sugar is pretty much the only place I'll go to, everyone I've met here is super friendly and make the services feel like no big deal. I've found other places that specialize in hair removal can be impersonal and kind of scary, but I always feel incredibly at ease here. It's no longer an appointment I dread making, and I cannot recommend this business enough!

Every few years I get in the habit of getting my lashes done every few weeks and eventually take a break but their lashes are too good to stop! The studio itself is beautiful and located in a strip mall in Powell near Sawmill Rd. I love having my lashes done because you basically wake up ready for the day without much effort. The cons are often the time commitment, price, and damage extensions can wreck on your natural lashes. Fortunately Jasmine does amazing work! She is fast, efficient, and super sweet. Prices are very reasonable too. Appts are convenient to book online and they offer other services as well. I haven't had any facial or brow treatments yet but definitely recommend if you're looking to get your lashes done!
