My husband and I had our wedding last week and we bought all of our alcohol for our open bar from Bevmo. We saved so much money because we bought our white & red wine, and sangria on their 5 cent sale. We also bought 2 pony kegs and champagne from them as well. One of their employees, Courtney was extremely helpful and set up our wine tasting before we bought anything. The wine tasting was held, not in a room, but at an open area in the back. Make sure you eat something before you try wine or you'll end up buying snacks from Bevmo like what my family and I did. We bought just enough for our 120 guests and Bevmo also delivered all of alcohol to our venue at the Vacaville Opera House, too. Oh! You also have to bring back their beer kegs the next couple of days. If it's full, you get some money back. I would recommend doing business with Bevmo if you have a wedding ;) read more

Would've rated it 0 stars if given the chance. Policies at this store have been super inconsistent and as a consumer for 4 years, never have I been refused service before. Went here with my sisters early today and helped buy alcohol for a party. Of the 3 of us, my little sister was the only one under 21 but she was only there to help carry out the items. She did not at all engage in our conversations about buying alcohol. Bc she did not have an ID and we both did, we were told that we can not buy our items. Even if this was a policy, this has NEVER been enforced before and if we would have known, we would have not have brought her. I have been here plenty of times, and never was I asked for the people that have accompanied me for an ID. Just the person buying the alcohol, in this case it was me and my older sister. This store is extremely inconsistent with enforcing their policies and has only been an inconvenience to their consumers. Jose Martinez (manager), Jeff, and Bryans' customer service were clearly lacking bc we were not even informed before entering the store if that were the case. I get that they were trying to do their job but all least make it fair and equal to ALL of your customers and not just a selective few. Was denied because my ID was expired which was fine. When I came back with my temporary ID the guy at the register (with long hair) was still rude and acted like he was a chief of the land. He was very rude and would not recommend coming back. I myself own a shop so I understand you cannot buy anything with an expired ID BUT when someone's comes back with the DMV renewal they should be okay to buy. 1/10 would not go back. I just left the Vacaville location and I'm super upset! Not even sure why I still gave them my business! They had a coupon that ready "buy 2 save $5, any 750ml or bigger" (see coupon in photo) I got to the register and they said nope that's not a coupon, it's just advertisement. I said wait what that definitely looks like a coupon to me. So they didn't honor it. THEN! The online price said $20.99 and the shelf said $25.49 for the same exact product. This place has really went down hill and for them to hire people that don't even know anything about the store is just ridiculous.I waited for 20 minutes pressing the service button and no one was coming I proceeded to the register got in line then asked for what I wanted . They new employee stated that I had to find someone on the floor for that I told her I was pressing the button for 20 minutes and she replied with "what button" ?? What? The button you have for service.I replied so then she tells me she'll call someone . I want ten more minutes and I see someone walk pass me I say excuse I've been waiting here for some minutes can I please get these bottles and she replies with after I help this gentleman. I replied with but I've been here for 20 minutes pressing this button . She says "that button doesn't work right now so I let me help this gentleman " (rudely) so I tell her that the new girl in front said she was getting someone but you see a guy and your gonna by pass me . Okay ! I left when I should of got everyone's name on shift but obviously it's poor management because I called to speak to a manager and of course they're are sooo busy I never got a call back...... okay . After weeks of stopping in and phone calls trying to get a bottle of Dom Perignon from the BevMo in Fairfield, I finally decided to try a different store and see if they had it. Just my luck, I gave them a call and they had just gotten in six bottles of it! I had never tried Dom before so was making it a top priority to get a bottle of it before everywhere sold out of it for the Holidays - not to mention BevMo had the best price and a $10 off coupon that was sent out in the mail. Courtney was able to hold a bottle of it long enough to get down there and pick it up. Shout out to Courtney for completing my new years exerience! I will be including you in my toast along with my first sip ever of Dom Perignon. Courtney, you rock! read more

aka ... BevMo!!! Okay.. confession: this was my first time at a BevMo, so I don't have anything else to compare to. BUT... I was so happy to see so many organized racks of drinks!!! Especially after finding one of my fav wines I got in Spain on the shelves (it's called Endivo...it's a cheap but good red wine). =) It's $8 here but $3 in Spain. Hubs + friends ooh'd over the multitude of soda drinks! I'm a fan! It's a bit ironic that we're in wine country and the first place friends get wine at is bevmo. =) read more

Okay ... pretty random review. If nature hadn't called I would never be writing this. I shop here often, good deals, good variety, and friendly helpful staff. Today I needed to use the restroom after I checked out. I was directed towards the back and as soon as I opened the door I should have ran for the hills. The floor was filthy, it smelled like an outhouse, and I *shit* you not, in addition to the poop splatters in and on the toilet seat, there were two small dried turds in front of the toilet seat. That did it. This is atrocious. I can't believe you would allow a bathroom to be this filthy and open to public as well as employee use. I have never sprinted faster from a bathroom --- after washing my hands because just being in there I felt dirty. As I walked out I saw a manager getting up from what I guess was a smoke break on the bench. So clearly some management was on shift -- and trust me this was not a mess that was made in a few hours of being open to the public. Seriously turned off from returning here, who knows what their back room and storage room looks like if this is what they let the bathroom fall apart to. Health code violation x million!! This is my go-to spot when I want to prepare for a party or stock up on wine (ahem-5cent wine sale of course). They have a better selection of beer than Costco so anytime I want something more interesting than Heineken or Budweiser, I like to browse the shelves at this BevMo. It's located right in the Nut Tree shopping area so it's convenient with tons of parking. I want to give 5-stars but this place just doesn't have the customer service part down yet. I want to acknowledge the cashiers at the front who are very nice. However- everytime I look for someone on the floor to ask a question about a certain wine or spirit, one of two things happen: a) I can't find anyone and just end up getting irritated and leaving with a bottle of Hennessey (btw- if you want Hen, go to RiteAid first because they are more likely to have a sale) OR b) I do find someone to ask my question and they have no clue what I'm asking. This BevMo is clean and the prices are pretty good. But- if you aren't already educated about alcohol, it's worth a trip to a more specialized wine or beer shop. Cheers! read more

This is probably my go to spot for alcohol. Especially with the buy 1 get the 2nd for 5 cents deal. As a person who likes wine, this deal can seem too nice to be true! Unfortunately, this is only for selected wines, meaning not all wines are buy 1 get the 2nd for 5 cents. Regardless, sometimes the wine I like will have this deal and I'll get this. It also persuades me to try other brands as the ones that have this deal switches back and forth every now and then. There's also a large variety of liquor and beer here as well as mixers. You can basically get your type of alcohol here. Even though it doesn't have every single type of liquor or wine here, it's a good start. If you're not nit-picky about your drinks, this place will probably suit you well. I bought a bunch of wines and liquor here and they don't disappoint at all. It would be nice if it had a larger variety of liquor but this isn't an issue. All that matters is that they sell the stuff you may be looking for! The cashiers are also friendly (at least for me for the times I visited). You can't go wrong with this warehouse! read more

So my last BevMo review (series of 4) is for Vacaville. I had to go drive to Sacramento last week for a meeting, saw this one and wanted to grab food anyway, so thought why not. I was tempted to make it lunch and a road beer, but behaved. Its bad enough I sneak phone calls on my cell still while driving (illegal in CA now w/out a headset),and with Flash counting as my HOV passenger, I probably shouldn't add open container to the list and end up on Death Row. No complaints about the location or store. Fast off/on the highway, in a strip mall, well stocked lit, etc etc. Vacavillians are probably delighted its here. read more

I don't go to BevMo so much, since although they have pretty good service, and often the young guys really know their beer, it's not real cheap. I stopped going to this one since the exit from the freeway is confusing and I've messed it up one too many times. I go instead to the Fairfield store which is easy to get to, but otherwise identical. read more

Bevmo, how do I love thee, let me count the ways. This is definitely a great location to buy some beverages for a party or for personal use. There is only one other location in Vacaville that has a better selection, but that only because fewer people know about it. But you cant complain when you need to provide for a party, right then, and right there without any reservations. They typically do have a great selection. Everytime I call or come into this store, I have some type of horrible experience. The employees are lazy unhelpful and they are always standing around talking about whatever party they went to or what movie they saw I was in the store for 20 minute without one person saying hello or can I help you. Yes I do know how to ask for help if I need it and I am sympathetic to employees who are extremely busy. However, not acknowledging customers and not helping find products within your store not only makes the establishment look bad but you will lose business read more

The only reason I am giving this location 2 stars is because most of the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I use to shop at this location religiously until I was charged twice for an item. The next day after I realized I was charged I went in to discuss what happened with the store manager. I showed him the receipt and he pulled up the transaction. I then explained to him that I was charged twice for one of the items but I only wanted/received one. He told me that the registers balanced at the end of the day and he could not do anything, even though I had my receipt. Of coarse the registers and safe are going to balance, I paid with my card. I have stopped conducting any business with Bevmo. Double check your receipts. read more

Bevmo vacaville has big sign "we're open", but you cannot go inside with or without mask. I just went to petsmart and sign said to wear mask when coming in. So i put mine on , but noticed some customers were not wearing them. I asked the person sitting in front why some people were not wearing masks. She stated she cannot "force" anyone to wear masks. Getting back to Bevmo, this makes absolutely no sense. The big guy in front of Bevmo door was nice, but absolutely no customers could go inside with or without masks. I just don't get it! read more

Gotta love some BEVMO! They carry some unique stuff and I like to treat myself to a nice bottle of scotch from time to time. I have been able to try something new every time for a while. Oh my BevMo. In a generic town of Vacaville you might be a great go-to option for booze. It doesn't say much as you don't really care about your beer. You have decent selection but your staff has no clue what needs to go in the fridge and kept cool. I am surely a beer-first person but IMO they do have a best selection of wine and spirits in Vacaville. Yes, the competition is not exactly fierce but the store is clean and the staff is nice, if not very knowledgeable. If you are in the know and looking for something like Stone Enjoy By you're in for a treat. No limit on any of the beers and last time they had several cases. While BevMo in Fairfield limits you to 2 Enjoy By bottles, Vacaville store lets you get yourself knocked out. I picked up 6 bottles of it last time this exquisite IPA made it to our part of the woods. Not sure if this speaks of the clientele but works for me...As far as super-rare stuff you're probably not going to find it here but as the every-day wine/beer/hard liquor store BevMo serves its purpose. read more

Just had a stupid experience here. While I was accompanying a friend who was buying a gift card only, the cashier insisted on checking my ID. Uh, why?? I wasn't buying alcohol. She was Not Buying Alcohol. There's no reason why she would have needed to see my ID to merely be near someone who is not even buying liquor. read more

BevMo is a cut above most liquor stores. They have an impressive stock of both hard liquor, wine, and beer. If you're in a hurry somewhere you can place an order online and they will have it ready for you for pick up in about twenty - thirty minutes. Prices are lower than at a grocery store and the dizzying selection is worth seeing for yourself. Minus one point for service though, I can never find someone to help but their entire stock can be browsed online for each individual location. What more could you want? read more
