I had this place actually…read morebookmarked for a while and was thrown off because I first thought it was kind of small relative to how big the building / property looked like from the outside. That was until one of the guys pointed towards the doorway towards the back.... When you walk through, there's a ramp going down to a very large area with a crazy selection of spirits, beer and wine. There's also a lot of hard to find stuff as well. Some you have to pay up for but others have a really good relative price. The guys here were really friendly and very helpful. I've been here multiple times now and they've been really cool each time. Just a great store all around if you're looking for particular whiskeys or pretty much anything else related to that.

Then came my turn. I went to purchase my margarita mix, which contained NO alcohol. The cashier called a manager over for an ID check. The manager then told me they could not sell me the product because I had spoken to the two customers ahead of me. Excuse me? I am a grown-ass man who came into the store by myself, paid for my own items, and have never had an issue shopping here before. Apparently, having a conversation with another customer now means you somehow become responsible for their purchase. I left feeling like I was being unfairly profiled and discriminated against based solely on the fact that I interacted with the people ahead of me. If there was a legitimate store policy preventing the sale, I would have appreciated someone explaining it clearly instead of making assumptions. Apparently, my money isn't good here because I said hello to the wrong people. If you shop here, apparently the safest strategy is to keep your head down, don't speak to anyone, and definitely don't interact with anyone purchasing alcohol. You never know when the cashier or manager will decide you're suddenly part of their transaction. I have shopped here without problems before, but after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Other liquor or even other stores hasn't been giving me an hassle for scanning them and putting them back... So I bought some tickets there at that Red Barn liquor store tonight and won't let me scan the discarded tickets...

This BevMo location is the worst in customer service. About 3 months ago, I came initially looking for a japanese single malt whiskey which they did not have in stock but was suppose to arrive the following week - so i provided my name/number, which the store employee wrote down, advised them to hold a bottle for me, and to call me when it arrives (the price was around $60). I did not get called, but since the store is on my way home - i came by a week later but they still did not have it. I have been driving by since to check until a few weeks ago, yesterday i passed by to check, and they finally did get some - the price is now $100! I spoke with the store rep-Sean, advised him that i have been coming over (he recognized me), and mentioned i would like to leverage their price matching policy (with Total Wine) if possible since this brand was not on their "do not match" list that we at one time looked at. The store rep said that he will check with his mgmt and advised me to call back the next day. I called the next day, and Sean indicated that this brand is on their "do not match" list (all of a sudden). So much for that Bev Mo policy - be that as it may, i indicated that when i ordered/asked them to hold a bottle for me it was at the original price of $60 but he said he cannot even sell it at that original price as he will get in trouble with his mgmt. I just wanted to provide the folks that might run into this review to be wary of this BevMo location's customer service practice or lack thereof. read more

I recently visited this store in search of a specific allocated bottle of bourbon, hoping to find something special. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. When I inquired about the allocated bourbons, I was told that they were neither allocated nor desirable anymore, which seemed a bit dismissive. Instead of addressing my request directly, I was steered toward a $500 bottle, which felt like an attempt to upsell rather than offer genuine assistance. While the staff did offer me to call the following day with more information on their inventory, the overall service left much to be desired. I hope they improve their approach to customer inquiries and provide more helpful and relevant options in the future. read more
