This BevMo! in Rancho Cucamonga is the second location that I have visited. First location was in Glendora. I was so looking forward to my visit at this location because I was amazed by the first location. However, I was slightly disappointed to see most of the food and snack items were not present. I was informed the food related items aren't big sellers especially at a full on beverage store. Anyway, I came here for one reason and one reason only... to buy lots of Bundaberg ginger beer. It is non-alcoholic and it's so good. I ended up with 6 cases of the small cans for a work lunch and 1 case of the bottles for home. This store isn't as big as their Glendora location I don't think, but still a good size. Tons of alcoholic drinks... aisles of them! I was overwhelmed by the different variety of brands and flavors to say the least. And I don't drink alcohol regularly... maybe one at most two drinks per year LOL. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Store was bright and clean. At the end of each aisle, you may find your favorite snack hanging... just waiting to be grabbed! Go grab one! Placed an order for delivery, half of the bottles were missing. No follow up from the store even though after calling they said that the remaining bottles were still sitting there for over a day. No initiation for a refund. No initiation for a resolution. Weeks and months of going back-and-forth to try to get a refund for the bottles that were not delivered. Zero follow up. Absolutely atrocious and unprofessional customer service. They still have not initiated a refund and it's been two months. I've literally spent hours working on this and nothing. read more

I love that the staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the wine, mixes and spirits. The staff greets you as you enter and willing to answer any questions you may have. What I did not understand is why I was told to show my drivers license; when I have presented my date of birth and year at the BevMo in Glendora, CA store nor the Upland location the week of March 9th. I do not know if the gentleman that behind me purchasing wine was "carded," but it was strange to me. read more

Very poor customer service. Trying to return a whiskey bought from last night by error and the rude guy just said I can't return it. California law says you can return alcohol if bought by mistake. The whiskey is unopened bottle and it is within the 7 days. The rude guy said you can just choose any vodka if you want without even helping me out. Very very poor customer service !!! Don't even try going here to purchase anything because the people who work here don't treat their customers right. Bad experience with BevMo never again will I go here !!! read more

It's a smaller store but it has a great selection. The employees are great and they are very helpful. The ambiance is mellow and welcoming. They do have great sales which is always a plus. read more

I came into this store for the first time 12/20/24 at 5:15 pm and I was looking for a bottle of Piper Heidsieck Champaign. There was a heavyset black gentleman working on the floor, when he was finished with the lady he was helping I asked for what I was looking for and he told a story about a woman whose daughter was named Piper and she only drank Piper Heidsieck and had bought the bottles on the shelf. He did some half hearted explaining that their system said they had it but the people running the store never update their system so he wasn't going to try. I think this was absolutely despicable because the wine was probably in the back and he didn't want to get it for me. I also believe this was reverse racism and I just feel sick about it. The present I was hoping to give never got done and that made me very sad. Everyone says they won't come back but that's just so common so what I'm Praying for is this location completely fails and closes because they don't deserve to be in business especially when they are so rude to their customers. A few days later I found the wine at Total Wine in Rancho and they were super nice, I'm struggling with arthritis and they pulled the wine and left it up front for me. Everyone at Total wine were so nice and so different from Bev Mo and their complete lack of humanity and professionalism. If you can skip this place, these people and their utter lack of care and read the other reviews because I can guarantee they're real. 01/01/25 I just got a message about how sorry they are, how much they care and Blah, Blah, BLAH! Checked online for my fave ipa. Karl Strauss hoppyalis. Very good price at this location. Didn't have any cold ones ready but they had plenty in stock. And a few choice as far as bottle or can and 12 or 16 oz choices which was nice. Jack Daniels was a great deal I think at 16 for the larger size. Cashier was attentive and very friendly. I had a coupon to use which I could not find and she was able to assist me with a small discount anyways. Which is much appreciated. I will def stop back in when it's time. read more

Well we've lost another useful store. Just left my closest BevMo disgusted. They now have oral care, toilet paper, typical convenience store stuff. All at the cost of space that used to hold more interesting beers, spirits to try. Not much of a beer department at all. I've no reason to go back... unless I need toothpaste. Ridiculous. read more

I get out of my car and realize I didn't have my wallet. So I call to see if they take Apple Pay, and they do, so I'm relieved. I go ahead and get 2 bottles of wine and 2 bottles of bourbon. Go to check out and the cashier asks for my ID. I ask if he's serious. He says yes, he is required to card anyone who looks younger than 40. I tell him I'm 45, and his response is, you look like you're late 30's. Gee thanks, but not.... All the times I have shopped here and had my ID, I've never been carded. I'm so pissed. I'm clearly over 21, with grey hairs. I hope it's not because I'm black and called before going in to see if they took Apple Pay. I cannot believe this just happened. I responded to their store at 10:32 and the doors were locked. I read the sign on the door that says the hours are from 10 to 8 or whatever time they close. I called the number and the manager says he's not going to open the door because he's the only one in the store and he has no employees to help him. what is going on here? Went there yesterday to purchase some items for Christmas dinner. Couple of bottles of wine and beer. Got to the register and the clerk, who I assumed was all of 22 years old, asked to see my ID. I thought he was joking. I am almost 70 years old with grey hair. He said it was company policy. I showed him my drivers license assuming he would note my birthday and I could complete the transaction. He then asked for my license so he could "scan it". At that point I had had enough. There is no reason for any business to have the ability to enter your personal information into their system . I left my items on the counter all left the store . I usually go to the south Upland location, but when I frequent this end of town, this is my BevMo. It's conveniently located when you want an adult beverage with your Chipotle bowl, Habit burger, Panera bagel, Which Wich samie, etc., or take some over to your hair stylist, you get the idea. Just keep it on the dl and pour it into an appropriate container. Staff has always been pleasant and offered help, but I don't need help. I know exactly what I want. Only reason I took off one star is because they stopped wine/beer tasting on Saturdays. Now it's only done on Fridays nights and ends by the time I roll into town. Come on peeps, add Saturday again. I promise you, I buy more after I have tasted. read more

Ryan was so awesome! He helped us from the very start. Probably came in like 6 times to get stuff ready for our wedding. He gave us great tips on alcohol for our budget, gave us a wine tasting, and estimated the amount which turned out to be the perfect amount. The bad news, something happened to our shipment on the wedding day. Won't go into too much detail as this was completely the delivery companies fault and not bevmo. But Ryan took full responsibility and is working it out with the delivery company to reimburse us somehow. Ryan and others at bevmo really went above and beyond to help us out. Wow, having a hard time understanding why customer service is severely lacking at this North Upland location. We have been in this store 2xs in a months time and each time asking for service was rather bothersome to these employees. If items are in a locked cabinet the expectation should be that customers will need an employee to assist. Customer has a question on a particular Liquor bottle? FYI sarcastic remarks are not needed. Today was the grand opening of another BevMo located in the North Upland area. They had free gift bags for the first 500 customers that visited the store. Music playing by the DJ, a young Asian lady (easy on the eyes) taking photos for the event, two ladies making fresh coffee drink for the public, etc...etc... Rose and Ryan have great customer service skills. Ryan was so informative about the cigar collection at Bevmo and helped me make decisions on my cigar purchases that I couldn't have done on my own. He was super friendly and patient with me the entire time I asked him questions on the quality and taste of certain brands of cigars. He made my shopping experience comfortable the entire time. As I was leaving Rose noticed I was looking at a prepared sangria in a bottle and immediately started telling me about the taste, quality and popularity of this specific beverage. She got my attention right away and directed me to where it was located. I grabbed 2 bottles and purchased them both. Rose was super helpful and friendly. Came in today to purchase a nice bottle of wine for an anniversary gift. I had no idea what to get and was hoping to get some input from an associate. Wow was I wrong. Stopped off this BevMo in a rush to get in and out (I was already late) for a friend's party. When I walked in I was greeted by someone that was stocking shelves who asked if I needed any help. I said "no, I'm good, thanks" and proceeded to take a few more steps before realizing I had never been to this BevMo location before. Since I was in a rush, I turned back around and asked the lady working if she could help me find Lindeman's Framboise... as we walked she gave me the options of chilled or not and took me directly to the product. I was in and out of the store so fast that even my boyfriend waiting in the car was surprised as how quick the run was. Why is his Bevmo getting such a bad rap for doing what they're supposed to do and carding? And second any bevmo I have gone to has to run my license. It's just policy. I work in the shopping center and have gone here for just a soda on my break to getting alcohol when I need after work. No complaints from this happy customer. But losing a star because I already told them their yelp page was messed up and they haven't fixed it yet. read more

Great selection of brews. A little bit pricy but convenient. Tastings are awesome. Friday 4-7 pm and Saturday 2-5pm. Brian usually does all the tastings and is very knowledgable about wines and beers. He is friendly and helps you understand more about all beers and wines. They are not pushy about buying, simply make the recommendations and recommend the tastings. Every week they rotate the wines and beers. Stop by and try something different. read more

Today was disappointing. When I visit this Bevmo I am always warmly greeted (with a smile) and asked if I need help with my purchase (loading onto cart). Today a cashier named Michael rung me up, not friendly, and didn't help me place my beer (2 boxes and some singles) into the cart. I placed the cart so he can load them and nothing, he actually looked away. He didn't say have a good day until I was half way out the door. Hope the usual happy, smiling, customer friendly oriented staff is back soon (Maybe the cashier didn't want to work today on a long weekend?). I think it's real crazy when your ask at check-out , if you found every thing alright.. I told the check out guy, no I was at another BevMo a few miles away and they have white creme de cacao and your BevMo doesn't carry the white creme de cacao..I was told they don't carry it because it doesn't sell there.. Real funny , they do have white creme de cacao, just not the brand I like.. This shows you what happens when a employee really doesn't want to help you..
