Walked through the door and was not greeted my Bella and her colleagues, even though they looked me dead in my face when I walked in. All the males coming in after me, all received a greeting....ok whatever. I went for Buzz Balls and the display for them were right by the door, thats how I know whom they greeted. Finished picking my Buzz Balls selection and approached the register. Still crickets....no "Hello, How are you?, Did you find everything you needed?", nothing. And I sure wasn't about to speak first. She was too busy still carrying on a conversation with her co-workers, while ringing me up, which is rude as hell for associates to do, especially when you have NOT once acknowledged the customer you are helping. After she took the Buzz Balls out the hand cart, she found it necessary to leave the register and go put it back in it's place, as though she couldn't have just put it to the side, until she was done ringing me up. The bevmo support staff has been great to me i normally don't like to protest against companies but i feel this is time go puff and bevmo went too far as to how they treat their employees, especially their drivers i encourage people not to shop at go puff and bevmo because the company is going bankrupt and making a lot of false allegations against its drivers. Came here for Friday night wine tasting and had a great time! Julie the wineologist was so much fun and kept the party going. Cost was a nickel for each pour. We even got to try Stella Artois Midnight Lager and it had a dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla flavor. Bevmo is located in the same parking lot as Chik-Fil-A and once you get through the crazy drive thru line and into the store it's actually really laid back and not crowded. I usually shop at the Bevmo in Upland. The staff there are very nice and helpful. Today I had occasion to shop at the Rancho Cucamonga location. Same great selection but when i got to the register they asked to scan my drivers license. At Upland I always decline and just show them so they can verify that I am 21. I am 62 by the way. I told the lady that I declined to have my DL scanned but that I would happily show it to her. She said she had to scan it, that it was Bevmo policy. I told her that at the Upland store they didn't require that I let them scan my DL. She acted very irritated and said if I didn't let them scan the DL she could not sell me the merchandise. I said I understood and that I declined. The other checker turned around and told me "Get out of here then". With so many big companies getting their data hacked and the proliferation of Identity theft I try to reduce my exposure where ever possible. If this is indeed a new corporate policy I will no longer be patronizing Bevmo. If it is in fact a case of bad management at the Rancho Cucamonga store I will stick with the nice folks in Upland read more

Sadly, this BevMo has gone way downhill. Their service is used to be great, but the new staff is clueless about their own liquor selection and how to treat their customers with even minimal care. The ambience is poor and their displays are disorganized. It seems like the staff there gets replaced every few months and most of them don't even pretend they want to work there. Honestly, there is zero reason not to shop instead at the Total Wine right across the street. Not only is their staff much more knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Stopped in on a Friday night, headed into San Diego. The parking lot was decent, and the store was well stocked. The clerk was very pleasant. We had gotten a BevMo card a few years back, and were able to use our phone number for a discount. That worked out great! I have no complaints about this location. I did notice that they don't have a huge selection as Total Wine across the street, but it suits it purpose if your there for your favorite pack of beer (granted they have it) grab and go. They are overly priced on some items, especially the snacks, (why buy your snack there when you can mosey over next door to Fresh and Easy)....Staff is friendly & efficient.
