Wanted to add a thank you for Dan and Vance 8/4/19. And a shout out. Thank you for always making my purchase easy as I call ahead as well as coupons and text messages through store promotions. Always helping me and carrying out the heavy box for me. Two reviews as the beginning I had forgotten to post. read more

I went in on Sunday, yes a busy day, pressed the help button to get the "premium" product, then asked staff standing around for help was told we are busy, didn't get someone will be with you shortly. Pushed button again. Waited a while, wandered nearby aisles, no one came to help, I walked out and went elsewhere to make purchase. This is not first time customer service issues here. Previous times push button told oh it doesn't work and you needed to hunt someone down. Only time I have had decent service is shopping right before closing time when few shopping. read more

This BevMo was the first place I bought alcohol from that wasn't a convenience store. Everything is organized well, and the employees are courteous, however, I don't like that I need to ask for assistance in opening a locked case. I understand they do it to avoid theft of their higher-priced items, but that kind of thing takes me back to when I used to live in the ghetto. They do good business here, but I'd rather shop at the competitors solely because they don't lock their products. It's a trust thing. read more

Worst customer service. Bought one bottle that said $19.99. Cashier rang me up and total was $32. I paid and then realized the tag had said $19.99. He says 'oh that's when you buy two'. Oops. Didn't see the small print. Ok I'll take another one then. Next total is $26? Umm huh? I already paid $32 so my total should only be about $12. Took me asking for two different managers who BOTH tried to tell me I was wrong. First one tried to tell me it was tax. Umm ok , NOT. Second one tried to tell me because it was ringing me up separately that my second bottle was free. Umm not if you are trying to charge me another $26? She finally credited my first transaction and re rung up the two together. Guess what?? It still came up wrong!! And then she was rude. Avoid this place. If you can't just watch the register, as they are trying to cheat you. Either that Or the employees just really don't know how to do math. Since I crunch numbers all day for a living, you're not getting one over on me. read more

Had very unpleasant experience. Anne-Marie was very rude and profiled us for stealing. She hassled is over ID checks even after our purchase was made. I will not go back to this location and will continue to go to the one on Douglas which has been a more friendly experience. read more

Four stars and I'll definitely be back. A very large selection of various local, national and international beers, a good selection of wines and satisfactory amount of liquors. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They'll help you search for that beer you only know by... wait, I think it's name is... I think the label looks like...? The main takeaway is that it's a fun store and well-worth a visit. Their prices are moderate and on par with other shops but you're going there for the selection, not the prices necessarily. However, the prices don't seem to be higher then elsewhere, so points for that. Thanks! read more

BevMo has lost my business. Their average selection of wines and nothing special prices give me no incentive to go there. Total Wine Offers so much more and much better prices. The BevMo 5cent sale is really not that good of a deal. Once in a while you can find some good wines but most of the time they are average to low quality wines that are overpriced. You think you are getting the second one for 5cents but really these wines are marked up to begin with so your discount is not that great. Head over to Total Wine for a great selection and better prices. read more

Decided to stock up for a party and holidays during their 5¢ sale (what a great deal)! As I was wondering through the aisles trying to locate a nice Chardonnay, BevMo staffer, Suzanne approached me and offered assistance. She quickly led me to the Chardonnay aisle and asked me what my preference was. Buttery or Wood-flavored? Fruity or Spicy? I had fun narrowing down my "taste" with her as I had never really thought about it before. Through process of elimination, she produced a label she thought I would like. She even suggested I "try before I buy" as they were offering tastings of all the sale products at the counter in the back for only $2 (on just that Saturday). Tempting and genius, I thought, but I didn't have the time. I did take note of this and will schedule a future visit to BevMo just for the wine tasting. Suzanne was a fun salesperson but not pushy. Since I was having a party with all ladies, she showed me a brand new sparkling "Hello Kitty" dessert wine which we both got a kick out of. Might be good for a bridal shower in the future. I asked Suzanne where a certain red wine was in the store and she produced it within seconds, like a magician. I, on the other hand, would have been aimlessly wandering down all the aisles, mesmerized and distracted by the variety of wine and liquor labels. When I put the bottle in the front of my cart (where the babies sit or where must of us girls put our purses) Suzanne picked it up, flipped up the "seat" and repositioned the bottle horizontally. The way I had placed the bottle in the cart it could have easily slipped through the "leg hole" opening. I think I turned as red as a merlot! Suzanne suggested I purchase an inexpensive BevMo reusable wine carrier (canvas bag) with 6 inserts for bottles. I'm glad I did. Saved me the time of trying to find nooks and crannies in my car to stow the wine bottles w/out them falling over and rolling around. I will definitely go back to BevMo whenever I have a party or dinner to host and will be sure to take advantage of the 5¢ sale again! read more

As far as BevMo's go, this one has been the best when it comes to selection. I've been on a hunt to own all of the Absolut flavors and this store had a ton. They even had several different limited edition bottles and flavors, which was awesome. While I was browsing, I noticed there were several coupons attached to various bottles. I had been to another BevMo earlier that week and was informed the coupons are only valid on non-flavored varieties, despite the fact that the coupons were placed on the flavored bottles as well. Confused by this, I asked an employee for help. (I believe her name was Suzanne.) She told me that she would be more than happy to let me use the coupon on the flavored varieties AND she even adjusted my old receipt so I could get my money back from the employees who didn't let me use the coupon! Score! I am so happy with the service I received from Suzanne that I will definitely return to this BevMo over others in the future. read more

I went to this store on a hunt for some lychee vodka. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. After walking up and down the isles, one of the store employees noticed I needed help finding something. He was such a great help because not only did I find the bottle I wanted, but he also showed me a few bottles with lychee flavor in them. I bought a few of the mini bottles to taste. The store was very clean and organized. As I was checking out, the cashier was practically drooling over my bottle... especially since I told her it was the last one. She kept making recommendations as to what I should mix it with that didn't sound right. Anyway, great variety and many options at BevMo! read more

I love all the crazy imported beers they offer. And the cigars are a nice touch. Bevmo does have tastings for like a dollar. If you are lucky enough to be there when they do make sure you join the others drinking at 3:00 in the afternoon. Good times. read more

So, so helpful! Vance was amazing, went above and beyond to help us find what we were looking for. Store was clean and organized, I will definitely be back! read more

I wish I could plan in advance and just spend at BevMo like I do on my groceries. I walk into BevMo and I'm like a kid in a candy store. I'm not a wine person, so I can't really speak for their selection of wine. What I can say is that they have excellent customer service. 3 different people asked me if I needed any help, 2 of the 3 cared to tell me about their deals, there was always someone within ear shot so if I needed a case to be opened to get a locked up bottle, someone was right there. I've recently become fond of Pinnacle flavored vodkas, and of the different places I've been to, BevMo has the most variety of flavors and were cheaper than the places I've been to. I will admit, when Costco has their coupons on their booze they are usually cheaper than BevMo, so I usually take advantage of that. Happy drinking! read more

The store was clean and the staff was helpful. We were able to find Dog Fish Head that we have not been able to find at other Bevmo stores. Check out left something to be desired. Long wait even with so many people just on the floor. read more

Best place to buy kegs in the area, when they're mysteriously cheap. Normally kegs are more expensive than bottles/cans, especially anything less than a 1/2 bbl. Every once in a while, you can score something decent and even save some coin, it is very rare though, you have to be patient. read more

BevMo! - Hard to beat cold beer on draft! - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Roseville , California

I go to bevmo to find European Non-Alcoholic Beer and they have the largest selection anywhere. The staff there have been helpful and cool 100% of the time, which is amazing. I have nothing to offer if you're in to the alcohol-containing stuff except to say that it is like a warehouse of booze, well lit, spacious and very clean. They also run a ton of sales constantly. read more

BevMo! - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Roseville , California

Stopped here today to buy a liquor that's not available at Total Wines, where I usually get my liquor as they're cheaper but lacking in customer svc. Walked in the door, not a customer in sight. There was a heavy set female employee in her mid 60's with blonde spiked hair (no name tag). She was rubbing lotion on her arms at the register. I did not get a greeting or even a smile as I walked past her, as she rubbed the lotion in. I knew what I was looking for, just not the location since I don't go to this store often, I usually go to the one on Douglas Blvd or CH. No empl offered assistance even though I was walking up & down aisles looking for it. Found that & another liquor that I didn't think was available anymore. Hence the 2 stars. Certainly no stars for the non existent customer service. While I was shopping, a male customer walked in & he was warmly greeted & conversated with by the Lotion Lady. Guess she knew him. But ya know what? You're supposed to be friendly to ALL customers, not just the ones ya know. Customer Service 101. With that, I was off to the cashier to pay. By now, her arms were nice & silky! Standard Bev Mo. Great selection, extremely friendly staff, well stocked and store was cleaned and well organized. Plenty of parking. Grabbed a bottled of Moscato Di Asti and they had a few in the chilled section. Also they had their $0.05 sale going on!! Winning!!! read more

This is a shoutout to Beth, the manager, who was so great to work with! We had to put in an order of beer for our wedding in Tahoe and we had some trouble online so we called to put the order in. Beth was very detailed and thorough, and even called us back to make sure she had the right beer in our order! She was very flexible when we had to make a change to the order too. When we picked it up, she had the cart ready to go for us, and it was a quick and painless transaction. It's so rare to see quality customer service without asking for it. And I used to work at Trader Joe's for 8 years so I KNOW what good customer service looks like. Anyway, thank you Beth, for helping us. And I hope you get promoted or a raise for your good work! read more

I'm a fairly generous rater when it comes to stars. Good food and good customer service will always win my heart. So to give a place that sells alcohol less than a 5 star rating should be criminal. But, a place that sells alcohol and has great customer service should get awards. I'm happy, you're happy, we are all happy. So let me describe my last experience at this place. Great location, there plenty of parking in the lot. Even some shaded areas on those crazy hot days. The store is very organized, from there wines, to the beers, to there cigars. And if you can't find something in the store, just ask. The workers don't bite. So I was in the store stocking up my wine rack with there 5 cent deals, along with some other deals they had in the store (Rutherford, Tobin James, etc). Then of course, I had to walk over to there whiskey aisle for those more stressful days. I couldn't find a Bushmill whiskey I've had before. That specific Bushmill, being their 12 year aged Whiskey. I've bought and had it before, but at the actually Bushmill Distillery in Northern Ireland. I knew it existed, but just couldn't find anyplace that carried it. I asked one of the workers in green for help, and they went beyond what they needed to do to help. They weren't able to find it on there computer. I left my number to be told I'd get a call back after some research. This individual went beyond what he needed to do and contacted his supplier, amongst other people to locate this special 12 year old aged Bushmill. I had a return call in a few days, only with the bad news of no whiskey. It's only available in Northern Ireland at the distillery. Great customer service. Thank you. Be back when I need more alcohol... Burp... read more

I've been to alot of the BevMo's around placer county ( dont judge me =D) and citrus heights and this Roseville one is by far the best! The staff is always knowledgeable about their alcohol which is a great help. They're always super friendly & are willing to help someone...Yes i am that customer that is always asking about new alcohol. read more

I am kind of sad to write this, as I have been a fan of BevMo since they opened up the chain. I just have to say though that the Roseville/Rocklin store has the worst possible customer service that can be experienced. I shop BevMo often too, and I have never experienced more than a 2 star level of service there. The male members of the staff (of which there are many) are very rude, and seem to look through you when you ask for help. I stopped in a few days ago to get a 22 oz. Double Bastard for my husband's Valentine gift, and was ignored when I asked for help, and not even acknowledged when I was hovering near the locked whiskey cabinet browsing for a higher end V-Day gift. Jeez guys... Just because I was wearing jeans and a hoodie on a Sunday, does not mean that I am going to pay for my liquor with food stamps... A little help is always appreciated. read more

I usually hit up Total Wine when I'm in the mood for a good bottle of wine, but BevMo has great sales and customer service. My MOH was able to stock up on a ton of wine/champagne for my bridal shower and bachelorette party for cheap thanks to BevMo and their five cent sale. We were able to order online, go to the store and pick it up the same day. They had it all ready to go in cases for us when we arrived. We simply showed them our IDs, the card used and the receipt and they carried the cases out to our car and put them in the truck for us. read more

I received better customer service at a McDonalds. The staff was rude and was just an overall unpleasant experience. Never going back to this location again. Worse staff award goes to this BevMo location. read more

Awesome sales! Great selection! What more can you ask for? 5 stars. Another thing I should mention is that they carry a pretty good selection of cheese, which is something that Total Wine actually lacks. Total doesn't have cheese at all...you gotta have cheese with your wine!!! :) read more

They have my Philippine beers. It had been six years since I had Red Horse and San Miguel. They had a $12 for 2 packs in cans deal, but they had only one pack left. Devastating. The employees were very helpful and suggested deals when available, so I really like that. read more

BevMo! has beer, liquor, wine and anything that you might need to go with it. The staff here makes the visits soo nice.. It's unreal.

I hate to mark down a place because of another place, but the existence of Total Wine keeps me from giving this a 5 star. That's mostly because Total Wine is so fantastic and nothing wrong that BevMo is doing. I mostly come here because it's slightly closer. The selection is good for a shop of the size (obviously much smaller than Total Wine) but the staff is super friendly and the store is always clean and organized. I can't recommend it over Total Wine strictly in terms of price and selection, but this is a completely reasonable place to go if it's easier to get to or you're not looking for anything rare or fancy. read more

I would agree with the last reviewer that Total Wine is better than BevMo in many ways. Certainly TW is bigger. I would say that I use BevMo mostly for getting beer that cannot be had at Safeway. They do have a decent selection of microbrews at good prices. read more

This rating is based 100% on the customer service of Dan. Dan helped me in ordering a Guinness Keg for a wedding I had at my venue! He was so knowledgeable and helpful for someone who knows nothing about a Keg and especially a more difficult beer. Kudos to Dan! Job well done! read more

What can I say I love Dan! I needed to calculate beer and wine for a party of 50 white? Red? How much? It was overwhelming Dan came to the rescue asked me questions about my friends and I and created a beautiful array of wines and beers! I got carded for beef jerky! Really! Also the wine tasting is a rip off. $2 per person for tasting fees? It's $5 per person at a real winery and the selection is better. Oh but you get it credited to you when you buy your bottle. Why would you try to extort money from your customers? To add insult to injury my typical favorite bottle of wine is priced $2.50 more expensive than our other wine store. These guys are a rip off, go somewhere just down the street for a way better deal. read more
