This Bevmo has a great beer selection, some of my favorites from local breweries are here as well as the imports. I like that I can always run in last minute and grab munchies, or a nice bottle of something to take to a party. (They have some harder to find high end Bourbon and Tequilla) Was in recently and they added a beer cave! Lots of favorites in a walk in cooler ready to go! Clean store. Nothing special or different looking from the other Bevmos'. Staff was very helpful. The soju that I was looking for they don't carry, but the staff was friendly enough to speak on the spju they do have and what their thoughts on it was. BevMo is a great place to pick up liquor of all sorts with a broad selection of just about every category of alcohol product and mixes. The aisles are clean and well organized. I needed to pick up some Everclear for my homemade limoncello. I asked the friendly staff for assistance, and they led me right to the shelf. After my purchase I had an informative conversation about alcohol proofs of various products and learned about California restrictions. BevMo's prices are competitive and is a great store to visit if you need variety and depth in your selection. read more

I don't come here for alcohol, but cookies instead! Yes, it's strange that some specialty cookies are sold here and nowhere else. There are lots of locations and pretty easy to get to, so therefore easy for me to get my desserts. The cookies are pretty pricey, so it's definitely just a once in a while type of thing. I have to say that I have been here several times and I have personally always had a good experience here. Not sure why the ratings are not higher for this place. I usually go to TW as it is closer to my home and they are much, much larger. But if you are getting any of the standard brands and items, BevMo! is great if you are nearby. Kind of like the difference between Home Depot and Ace Hardware. Do I really need 3000 choices in kitchen cabinet handles at Home Depot if Ace Hardware carries 300 including the ones that I want? I was in the shopping center anyway picking up something from the local bakery, so it was easy to go here for the beer that I needed. I was greeted as I walked in and told to let them know if I needed any help. I went looking for the Abita beers for our Mardi Gras dinner. At first I could not find them, so I asked for some help. The gentleman who helped me took me right to the area and pointed out what they had available. Although they did not have the Abita Mardi Gras beer in stock (they had ordered it, but they hadn't received the delivery), they did have 2-3 other Abita beers. One was the Strawberry lager; one was the Purple Haze raspberry lager, and one other. Grabbed a 6 of the Purple Haze and headed to the counter. The gentleman at the register was also very nice, had a pleasant Mardi Gras discussion. I found the store to be in great shape visually, being very clean and tidy. Shelves were stocked and faced correctly; cold area was also done nicely. Staff was friendly and very helpful. If I lived closer to here than TW, I would definitely go more often, they have the majority of what I get on a normal basis anyway. And they can special order if you need to. Don't know what chicanery is going on here, but apparently you can get a bottle that is still on the delivery truck. Called earlier to see if a bottle was available, lady employee mentions that she doesn't seem to see it on the floor but sees it on order. She then mentions that the truck is still being unloaded and she'll see if she could get the bottle if I were to be walking in. She places me on hold and after a while she follows up with all three bottles have been sold and that they were purchased online. Feels bad that bottles can be purchased here and never even allow the locals to see it. read more

Curbside pickup is lame. I waited nearly 20 minutes. A disabled person should not have to go inside to pickup a large order when curbside has been selected. This also happened on my first visit. I called the store the responding Team Member said that their phone system went down Shouldn't an SUV with an open back door parked in the curbside area be a clue that a pick up customer is waiting. read more

The service here really sucks. Last three times we've come in, no one acknowledges you and there's only ever one cashier, even though you see at least 3 or four ppl walking around stocking shelves. Today, there were four of us waiting to check out and there were two other employees, in the main aisle, who saw how many ppl were waiting and continued to ignore us and have a conversation. Best day brewing makes great nonalcoholic beer, but are hard to find by me, and BevMo has it. I placed an order online, which was filled quickly, so quickly I couldn't get down there until 7:45 or so. The parking lot is a mess, but I got a decent spot by sheer luck. I walk in and the only cashier gives me the stink eye like I'm a nuisance. Ok, maybe he's having a bad day. I'm here to pick up an online order, I tell him. He tells me to go over to the other (empty) register where the sign is they are still working on my order, right on the border if sarcastic and rude, like I'm the asshole for not knowing the layout of his workplace and have the gall to ask the clearly available company representative for assistance. I say it should have been filled I say, as I walk toward the empty register with the overhead sign. There is another lady waiting ahead of me. The cashier is gruff to the other customers, except the young woman he seemed to be trying to flirt with. But hey, retail is a hard job. So I wait... and wait... and wait some more. I keep waiting and end up texting my wife I'll be longer than anticipated, because I'm stuck here. I had time to play a game on my phone before deciding to ask for a manager. Then I see the manager, on the far side of the store. She sees me, and ignores me. Ok. I'll just keep waiting. I contemplate cancelling my order, but I think the cashier would love it if I left without my order. Which I can actually see on the shelf with some sliding doors stuck to the front. The manager walks by me and goes behind a closed off area, while occasionally glancing at me, either making sure I don't leave or just wanting to glare at me. I look around wondering at their selection and I notice how ghetto the place feels. I know BevMo is being strangled by its larger competitor, total wine, and I see why. Another employee comes by with a cart full of bottles, likely restocking, and seems surprised I'm standing there. A few minutes later he comes back with another employee to finally let me out of the place. He had a hard time with the tablet to get me going, but I could see what he was doing, and the tablet was not going to cooperate with him. Poor guy. He finally gets the thing to work, and I get out the door. When I go to a total wine I am greeted pleasantly, not the case at BevMo. When I place an online order with total wine, the employees have it to me in 5 minutes, and I never have to leave my car. I understand the parking lot at this BevMo does not make that a possibility but the parking and waiting combination put a real damper on an otherwise lovely evening. March 2020- They are only accepting buy online pick up in stores orders! With that being said, signage is posted at the entrance & tape every six feet( keep your distance!). You can order online, on the BevMo app & I believe over the phone. You have to receive an email saying your order is ready for pick up! You stand right by the door and provide your last name. They will grab your order & bring you in to verify ID & form of payment. No one other than yourself can pick up order. Please! They were able to procure for me, for a very important event, some very hard-to-find wine and spirits in plentiful quantities - and with a level of service that's nearly impossible to match. BevMo associates and managers are excellent when it comes to service, but Steve's team really sets the bar. The atmosphere there is lively and friendly and the staff is genuinely concerned about helping their customers. Still, it's not only their service that's exceptional - their expertise on various spirits is what set them apart. In fact, when I'm looking to make some big purchases, I'll make the two-hour drive from San Diego where I live, instead of a nearby BevMo or Total Wine, to get their informed suggestions and make purchases. Pricing was competitive especially if you sign up for their free in store club card. They seem to run specials all the time and it's clearly written on the pricing labels. I think a local 7-11 might have more options in that category cause this place is all about the giddy juice. Their selection is actually pretty decent, however a bit expensive. Check their sales, especially if it's buy one, get one for a nickel. Once the sales price is applied, it's about the same per bottle as elsewhere. The people have always been really nice when we go there but can be hit and miss on how knowledgable they are. It's clean, albeit warehouse looking. Parking is OK. I only came here for the Japanese Soda but I saw more, I also saw American soda. The beautiful packaging continues to draw my attention. But then again, so much from Japan catches my attention. How much beer and wine does a person really need? oh that much, well better take some snacks to go with it. They have all kinds of nuts, popcorn, candy, chips and variations along with fine chocolates. Where was the shopping cart? I had a little basket, parking was ok because its in a sprawled striplet area. The people were ok on the level of being freindly and efficient. the ambience is cool, the place well stocked, and the ease of access is superb (except for some cramp areas where you fear knocking stuff down). Oh, lookie, here it is, under BEVERAGES AND MORE. Shouldn't it be under BEV MO? I almost gave up. No wonder I didn't write my review of this place three years ago, and the years before that. maybe because I couldn't find it in Yelp. I had to scroll until I found this address. I was tempted to make a duplicate review just so it could be found....hmmm... This review is for BevMo in October. We always come to this BevMo because its close to Trader Joes and Michael's Crafts and for local (Hawaii) people, all those places are fun places to shop since Hawaii has 1) no cool booze places 2) no Traders 3) No Michaels. I am a wine loving, organic food-eating crafter!! Take heed, BevMo and Trader's and Michaels!! I once begged Bath and Body works to open a store in Hawaii and they said No. I even begged them to sell online to Hawaii and they said No. Now, millions of dollars of online sales to Hawaii and two stores later, they are raking in the dough...in Hawaii! What did I tell them, did they listen to me years ago? No. C'mon, BevMo...come to Hawaii!! You will do good business...there's a lot of drunks, trust me. The workers in the aisles can be as cold as the refrigerated beer, or as warm as the sodas on the shelves. You just gotta get lucky. Prices - of course you'll pay a lot more!! But look at it this way, where else can you do a Halloween one-stop drive-by and find your Blavod Black Vodka with Pumpkin Head, Fright Bites chips, Rocket P!$$ soda that glows under UV light and Bacony soda??? No where!! No sir. They put together a nice grouping of holiday-themed stuff throughout the store. BevMo came to my rescue recently when I had a cocktail contest for a work social hour via zoom. I ordered all my ingredients online and picked it up the next morning at 11 a.m. This is the closest location to me but beware this is a busy street as it's close to the Orange Mall, 55 fwy., Trader Joe's, etc. I recommend turning in where the stoplight is at. He told me I don't have the numbers in front of me and I could just go online and check myself. Granted I just drove from another store to pick up an item that was out of stock there, but they didn't have that flavor at that location. Last night I chose to pick up an affordable whiskey at Bevmo. I wanted something unique, and it was on a Pizza night pick up. Boy, has this place and vibe changed since the pandemic. I was greeted by a young blonde haired guy. Found what I was looking for.. However, the young man asked me for my ID, and since my Costco card had one I showed him the picture on the other side of the VISA. Easy enough, right? Nah, he wanted me to take my mask off so that he could more clearly identify me. I had to take pause and make sure the man understood that I didn't like this, and he told me this was the policy here at Bevmo. If that really is the policy, and I have to take my mask off "because I look under 40," well then I probably will not shop here again, bud.
