I paid for 2-5 day shipping, though it took over a week and a half to arrive. No worries; I got updates via email and it was a supply-chain issue. That's totally understandable given everything going on right now. (I will note that luckily for me, I shopped earlier than I needed my present.) It came boxed up and in a super-thick bubble envelope. I was impressed with the care in the packaging! All I have to do is wrap the box and it's ready to go! This is one of those hidden gem places you just feel good supporting! It's a total hole in the wall mom/pop shop where the owners always service you with a smile and remembers your name! You see so many regulars come in and you see the owner greet them by name. It's located behind the chipotle in a random corner. If you're looking to self brew beer, looking for hard to find wines, beers, spirits this is absolutely the place to go! They have a great website to preorder for pickup too. If you're looking for that rare bottle of Scotch/Whiskey they probably have it in stock and at reasonable prices. Even on those rare bottles they don't have much markup like other local liquor stores. This is now my go to spot for sure! After searching the "big boxes" and their limited selection I searched in vein to find this product in LA near Torrance to no avail. Searched the OC (when you have something in your mind) and SoCal Wine& Spirits (Tustin) came up and I went for it. 37 miles later, success! SoCal Wine and Spirits is surprisingly excellent. This is probably one of the better random discoveries I've made recently. In particular I was impressed with the many different varieties of craft beer that they offer, which in many ways is just as good and impressive as some of the bigger alcohol store chains. True to their name, they also offer many kinds of wine and spirits, and other similar products. These also have a varied and interesting selection, so making a choice can be an enjoyable process. More importantly, the prices, from what I can tell, are also very competitive and not unduly inflated like you might find and many independent liquor stores. Overall this is a great location if you are looking for something unusual to bring to a party, or if you are looking for a convenient place to find something different. This is our favorite local liquor mart, and it's great to see our buddy Dave here from our old school liquor store from about 15 years ago in Anaheim. This spot is conveniently located across the street from our local Albertsons and US Bank. We usually pop in here for our favorite Extra Anejo, Dame Mas, in the Black hand painted bottle. We enjoy their large selection of liquor and craft brews. Only suggestion is that they play some type of music because it's always dead silent in here. However, they tend to really mark up the harder to find bottles up to secondary market levels. Sent a Postmates delivery driver to this store. I had requested two six packs of a common IPA and got a message from the driver that they only had one. I asked them to find something similar. Shop employees helped the driver select a cool recent selection from the same brewery and despite the price difference being slightly higher, covered it and sent me an awesome beer choice. I talked to one of the people on staff there and they said they really have been working hard to improve their store, and I can see that it's very well organized. I happen to be a big fan and a lover of suggestive wine labels. They have got quite a wide selection in their section of the store. few very interesting and suggestive labels here. I find myself in a cool little zone of my own, to be able to take pictures of things I find to be amusing. It just makes me smile. I stopped in here last night because I was in the area and it seemed like a better option than the nearby Albertsons. UNSATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE: I recently went in to buy a bottle of my favorite liqueur. The price on the shelf was $29.99, but when the clerk rang it up the price was $32.99. When I pointed out that under the law the store was obligated to sell it to me at the marked price, he refused and stated that he did not have authority to adjust any price. So I left and bought it at another nearby retailer for only one dollar more. I shall not return. Management needs to inform their employees about California consumer protection laws. read more

I was checking the mail and going through all the junk to see if anything didn't need to be recycled, and I saw a flyer for this place. I normally just buy all my booze from Total Wine or Hi-Time Wine Cellar in Costa Mesa, but I decided not to reflexively toss it. After I looked it over, I saw that they were advertising WL Weller, which is never in stock at Total Wine. Furthermore, it was a buck cheaper. I figured at the very least, I'd pop in, buy a couple bottles of Weller, and the trip would be a success. As my nav led me closer, I remembered that there used to be a liquor store here before, some ghetto liquor mart that I could see from the drive through at the KFC, but never entered, because I figured they'd have the same selection as the Albertson's 20 feet away, only $5/bottle more for everything. I was hoping that it was not just the same place, only with a new sign. And it wasn't, thankfully! All the lights worked! Gone was the aura of potential stabbings! The place is sort of laid out like Hi-Time. Standard convenience-store/gas station shelves that are all stocked with booze. As you walk in the store, it's cognac(?), Whiskey, bourbon, tequila, vodka, then rum. I pored over the bourbon section to find the WL Weller, but... None! NOOOOO! I asked the owner, John helpfully went to the back to restock for me. YESSSSSS! I browsed the beer selection in the fridge and found that it had some Clown Shoes Pecan Pie Porter, a brew which I'd been trying to find at Total Wine, but never had. (Decent stuff, btw.) Friendly staff, no having to wait for an attendant to look up prices/stock in a computer, good selection, and decent pricing. If you live in the area, I definitely recommend the place, or call ahead to see if they've got something that your big chain isn't carrying. read more

I was told there was an issue with my address even though i never had a problem with GLS shipping. Still not fixed. Asked for a refund days ago and can't even get a response.
