Taye Diggs myself and Morris Chestnut at the signing m&g at Bevmo in Emeryville Ca.
Antoine M.

bevmo hosting the m&g signing of sable bourbon by taye diggs and morris chestnut, was an amazing awesome experience. all the staff was super nice and informative of the special event

Prices please not convenient to keep standing in line and ask in the cashier. the customer service desk right next to it.
Yvette F.

The cashier was very very helpful. When I came in I said hello to the security guard nothing! RUDE ESPECIALLY IF YOUR STARING ME IN MY MOUTH SIR! That's fine he doesn't have to speak. But, it would be nice if he wasn't on his phone talking extremely loud to someone. Yeah BevMo got to do better. Beacuse it would've totally been a five star. Also, no prices on your little mini bars that are on the little circle thing is unacceptable. Unless, you have a price scanner I had to keep going to the register ask him the price. When I go out to the other place in Pleasanton. The prices are listed. it is a very difficult to put a little tag there. The floor service guy excellent the guy at customer service at 4:20pm Asian young man. Send him home not helpful at all. All in all I spent $5 something bc I didn't see prices and your security guard was extremely loud in his phone at the entrance!

How much for Kin? $2.99? $3.29? No, $3.99 at register. Whaaat???
Jendayi P.

I wanted Kin saw the prices and proceeded to counter. Rang up at $3.99. Told them what I saw in the case $2.99 $3.29. Nope! It's not that price. Took cashier over to see the signage. Nope, $3.99! She tried to explain other items used to be there for that price. She calls the manager who was also rude and said "you don't see Kin on the price do you?" I explained I couldn't really read the tiny print, (I'm a senior citizen) but I can see there are 2 prices. Manager said "well that was for something else not what's in there now" Horrible customer service!!! They never admitted they should have taken those labels off when they changed the merchandise. Duh! Why are you being rude to customers for your mistake.

I have a personal goal to try all the beer places in the East Bay area. I've been to most of the…read morebreweries in Berkeley (Gilman, Great Notion, Fieldworks, Headlands), some in nearby cities (Match Point, East Brothers, Fraction), and I've been wanting to check out this taproom because of the good reviews online. I don't consider myself a beer connoisseur, but I like trying different beers and ciders so this place was right up my alley. I had a friend visiting Berkeley from out of town so we came here to hang out and catch up. One thing that stood out to me is this place, because it's a taproom and not a brewery, is open later than the other beer places in the East Bay. Many choices of beer and cider on tap. I tried the ginger peppercorn cider and it was very unique, I've never had a cider like this flavor, it's almost like a cross between ginger beer and cider. My friends enjoyed various beers on tap. The place is pretty small but very clean and cute. I like that you can choose from 10 oz or 16 oz pour, so people like me can try more varieties in smaller portion than just drinking one boring thing. I like variety. The all you can eat popcorn was a hit with our little group. The truffle flavor really elevates the popcorn and it goes well with beer! There's so much free parking in this area at night... super convenient... although it scared me for a minute when I couldn't find my car in the very empty street lot, before I realized I was another block farther down. This area of Berkeley feels pretty safe at night even at 11pm. Good place. I would definitely go again!

Came here for a quick little beer and it was exactly what I wanted…read more Walked in around 3:30pm on a Saturday and the place was so quiet - i loved that! It was the perfect spot to sit and think a bit before planning my next move. The bartender was great and friendly! I ended up with a delicious sour beer and sat and chilled. Cute little 20 minutes spent at Hoi Polloi. I'm sure ill be back when needing a little break from life to sip on a yummy sour.

It's in the Bay Street Mall near the theaters in Emeryville. It's s relatively small indoor seating area but lots of seats just outside (covered and some with heaters). You place your order digitally and quickly. I ordered a slide with Pepperoni and chose an Alameda Soda Cola. The dough was perfect, ample amounts of cheese and pepperoni. And the drink was delicious (never had Alameda Soad before, will look them up). If you're in the neighborhood and need a quick, easy meal - I heartily recommend Arthur Mac's for a slice or more.

If you enjoy a sweeter bbq sauce, this is just right for you. I really appreciated the hearty amount of toppings and how the next bite was just as flavorful as the last. I also tried the pizza with their ranch sauce and it was a beautiful combo. I do agree with the other reviews though, their crust is just okay and is a bit more on the doughier side than the crispy side you usually get from thinner pizzas. Still overall, really solid pizza!

This is my family and my favorite Italian restaurant! Everything on the menu is delicious,…read moreflavorful, and refreshing without being overly heavy like Italian food often is. Their bread is especially amazing- perfect texture. The Calabrian shrimp is another highlight- juicy and tender. Finally, the tiramisu is light with just the right amount of moistness- a perfect end to the meal. The owners are friendly and service is quick. Ample patio seating with a few tables indoors. We can't wait to come back again!

We ordered via DoorDash, and I wouldn't call our experience "heroic."…read more The pinsa was very good. We got the Calabrian shrimp. We found it very tasty, but paying over $25 for this on DoorDash--certainly not worth the price even though we really enjoyed it. The spicy chicken parm sandwiches were not good. The chicken breast was flabby, and came across like it was one of those frozen cooked Tyson jobs. I would be very surprised if they actually breaded chicken breast, fried it, and made the sandwich with that. It was mushy, and the breading was like paste on the chicken. Pretty awful. They charge extra for sauce, which is a little much, given that we paid $21 for each sandwich. But we figured out pretty quickly why they do this: there was hardly any sauce on the sandwiches. And precious little cheese. We each ate half of our sandwich and figured we doctor the leftovers up the next day with a jar of Rao's and a bag of shredded Italian cheese. That helped, but nothing could save that chicken. The meatballs. We paid $15 for four, and we had high hopes, but they were so mushy that they fell apart in the sauce, and I couldn't tell what was sauce and what was meatballs. The only flavor that came across was fennel. Why any meatball should be so fennel-forward strikes me as bizarre. We got what we thought were pretty basic things, and they were fails. If an Italian place can't make a decent chicken parm sandwich nor a decent meatball, that says something. If you go, try the pinsa.
