With my various addictions, vices, loves . . please add to the list Vino!!! Now by no means am I a wine snob and only drink $50 plus bottles. Actually I'm the opposite! I know there are greats wines out in the world that can cost under $10! So my goal is to taste them all! BevMo is actually the place that assist in my mission. Rows and rows of wine and various wine deals. Over the years they have implemented the BevMo 5 cent wine sale, purpose one bottle get the 2nd for 5 cents; no complaints from me at all! This deal has become very popular, and now appears to be almost available daily. I would note that at times I have noticed an increase in the individual price but still a Major deal with the additional bottle only priced at 5 cents. I actually attended a wine tasting party, we had to bring a bottle under $20 for the competition. So of course I ran over the BevMo, grabbed two bottles of UnRuly Red at $11.99 and 5 cents so two bottles under the price point. And Yes everyone, I won!! The look on the host's face (wine snob) when he heard the price was priceless! Back to BevMo. . .not only do they carry wine but an unbelievable amount of hard alcohol's, various beers, cider's, mixers, you name it, they carry it. But be warned at times when an item is popular such as the new Limearita's by Bud and a summer sweet favorite of mine, New Age (refreshing wine spritzer served best cold and with lime), BevMo runs out! Drink safely and Bottoms up! read more

BevMo is just plain over priced. I had a $10 off a $50 purchase coupon today. By getting the $10 discount I was still paying about the same or more than I would pay at Safeway. Screw BevMo! read more

I normally only visit this Bevmo when I'm attending a party and need to bring a handle of whatever type of liquor that is requested. On this visit, I came in to buy Fireball since this is what was requested by the host of the party. Upon walking in, I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything in particular. This was already a plus because the store was absolutely packed with people prepping for the big fight. After taking the staff members offer for help, I was quickly in line and checked out within 5 minutes of entering the store. The positives: very clean store in general. The staff was very friendly and attentive. And the layout of the store made it generally very easy to navigate and locate the liquor of your choice. Jameson being my favorite whiskey, I will definitely be in more often to stock my apartment with. read more

Worst experience ever from any business!! I just bought a kegerator Thought I was going to the professionals about drink as they tote. Called to see if they had a 5 gallon keg. I've never owned my own tap. I researched my kegerator would only hold a Corny or a Sixth of a kegs 9 to 9 1/4" in diameter. A 5 gallon or so keg. After a 15 minute wait on hold they came back and said they had one. They would hold it for me. I asked a 5 gallon. Yes a 5 gallon. So I went down there. Told them I called ahead and they said they had it. One associate said no. One said I don't know and one said oh yeah we got it. I inquired again, a 5 gallon? Yes a five gallon. We will get it. I walked down an isle or two. Came back up front because I had to get home soon. Paid for everything while taking about how this 5 gallon keg is going to be the first time owning and tapping a keg. I get home it doesn't fit in my kegerator because they sold me a 7 gallon quarter keg instead. The manager told me he can't refund because of health regulations. He asked where the keg was. I said halfway in and out of my kegerator. I thought I went to a company that knew what they were doing. Wrong. Manager wanted me to drop my keg off at the store so he could keep cold for me until my party in 2 days. I'm like "What?" I requested his District Managers phone number. He put me on hold then came back on to inform me he can't find it. What a joke. Even when this keg gets warm before the party or 10 years from now. I'll have a sour taste in my mouth read more

There's nothing remotely appealing anymore about this Bevmo ever since Total Wine came to town. Total Wine has 3 or 4 times the selection almost all at a lower price. Bevmo is expensive! I hadn't been in here in a while and my kids were down the way at Claire's so I decided to come in here & browse. Found a bottle of rum I wanted. Bevmo was 37.99 and Total Wine 31.99. I asked for a price match and they said they'd do it, if it wasn't below their cost. They also had to go look it up in the back even though I had the price on my phone so I had to step away from the register and wait. It just reminded me why I don't like to shop here. Oh well, sometimes I'm old & forgetful. read more

BevMo is just pure awesomness. A place that has only hard alkie, beer, wine and munchies to go with it is heaven on Earth! :) I really like this BevMo in particular because the staff is always super friendly and the shelves are always stocked. The staff is always there to help you with anything you need. Plus I'm a huge fan of their Wine Sale! Buy one get the second for $.05! Can't go wrong with that! :) read more

BevMo! - :) - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Elk Grove, California

Bevmo! carries lots of different wine, beer, soda, hard liquor, cheese, anything related to alcohol and hosting a good night in. I enjoy taking advantage of their promotions, like their 5 cent wine sale! Some of their wine is marked, which means you buy the first bottle at full price and the second bottle is only 5 cents. Based on Kali D. review, I've fallen in love with one of their 5 cent deals, Unruly Cab. Not all their wine are cheap. You can compare prices first. I don't find Bevmo! has the place with the best prices unless it's on sale. I would not consider myself an expert by any means, so I'm glad there's a Bevmo! near me. I believe they offer tasting at certain times. I wish they offer like classes or wine tasting or classes, that would be neat. TIP: Join their free membership to accue points for each purchase. I have to remind myself every few years why I'm not a BevMo fan. I visited this branch and rediscovered what I didn't like before. I usually get wine, but find their 5 cent "sales" neither good bargains, nor composed of anything I like (or even recognize). The store is poorly organized, retail lures awkwardly bouncing off each other. Searching for even the recognizable grocery store bottles, I discover they're 30% more here than even Smart & Final or Safeway, and even those aren't easy to find among the obscure, off, and (perhaps) house brands. The final insult is the rewards card ask at the register, as if they have not already tried every trick to shake loose a few more coins. I'd be surprised if you could take a list of affordable beverages and find more than a few bargains here when comparing them with any other retailer, but the confusing layout, the obtrusive signage, and the general salesman-like tone of the place will have me avoiding ever coming here while I still have a memory. read more

Great location. Seriously, I've never encountered a better bevmo. Why? The service. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted. They will come assist you and answer your questions. I've been adventuring with different types of wine lately... The last 2 we picked up have been awesome...huge favorites/recommendations of the workers there. We got a bottle of the buccaneer and a bottle of vigilance. Fantastic reds. The latter was part of the 5 cent wine sale. Yay! Parking is plentiful. It's convenient. 5 solid stars. read more

Went inside with my brother, and asked the employees if they had an extra mask seeing as they all had disposable masks on, but they didn't. I asked if I could cover my face with my collar (a poor alternative, yes, but I just wanted to grab a beer in mind), but they said I would have to take my sweater off, and tie it around my head. I was only wearing A see through undershirt underneath, so that wasn't an option. I instead waited outside on a video call to show my brother which one to grab, and when he had to pay, his ID was expired, though legitimate. Could be standard company policy, but it made for a poor shopping experience, and I'll probably go elsewhere to make my purchases. read more

Was just in the store. And a few people ahead of me kept asking for coupons and discounts. The lady said oh I can find one and gave the lady a $10 off a $50 purchase. When I was next I'm I said can I get that discount too? and she just ignored my question. Again I said can I get that discount also? She ignored my question. And just rung me up. My total was $51.98 before tax so I would have qualified. RUDE. Her name was Maria. I guess only her little friends get the coupons.... read more

Don't shop here bad customer service and all workers keep asking us our age when we're we're with someone over 21 years old and kept on staring at us and said that next time don't come in like what, it's sad the workers don't even know the stores rules. read more

I know - I know! Everyone has probably already yelped loudly about the BevMo! in their area -- if they have ever sought out their sort of wares... I for one, found the name a bit off, and had earlier proclaimed, "I doubt I'll ever shop there!" Besides, our regular liquor store guys always ordered anything not stocked, if there was a need. After one visit to BevMo!, I sadly realized I never knew how needy I really am - in the booze department. BevMo! has every liqueur/brew/infusion/potion/concoction I have ever wanted, ordered, or dreamt about. And, it is all heavily stocked on orderly and easy to reach shelves, in an equally clean and bright store. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, so of course I signed up for the ClubBev! card. (A frequent drinker system that rewards with special club prices and accumulates points for future savings.) Additionally, there is the promise of a 5% saving award for Club Members upon spending over $250.00. A lady checking out ahead of me had about 30 bottles of assorted libations, and she was using a discount coupon, which looked as though she had printed it herself via email. Admittedly, the atmosphere at the BevMo! cannot rival that of Lucas Winery, nestled in an graceful Lodi vineyard; another beverage supply chain where I enjoy "club membership." Nevertheless, before my second trip, I ordered from home in my bathrobe. Got ready for the day, drove to the BevMo!, and picked up my prepaid order. Hmmm -- "Booze-To-Go, and it's all a done deal! I only had one perfect world thought: What about a drive-thru window? Whoa! That might be too easy. Cheers to the folks at BevMo! read more

If pricing weren't a factor, I would give BevMo 5 stars! Their selection is good, the employees are really helpful, and they have a ton of novelty/gift items that are sometimes hard to resist. A good selection of snacks, all of which I feel are over priced. Many of the items can be purchased at a local grocery store for a fraction of the price. I guess you're paying for convenience. I think that they mark up alcohol pricing just so that they can "mark it down" and make you feel good about getting a deal. As for wine... you can get much better deals at the Nugget and at Safeway. Both places offer 10% off when you buy six bottles or more, even if it's on sale. Beer... again, not the best pricing or selection. If it's on sale, then it's usually comparable to the competitive grocery stores and one-stop stores. Liquor... comparable or slightly more than other stores. One thing that seems to draw people in, which you have to be careful of, is the 5 cent wine sale. This is where I feel that the wine is jacked-up in price just so they can make it a "sale" item. Sounds like a great deal, but often times the wine is just ehh. A fun store to visit, good selection, not always the best pricing. read more

BevMo is quite a place i would say. I personally enjoy the varieties that they offer. Lots of different wines and descriptions, its very organized. I love that about this place. The staff here has been very helpful and very details in explaning things to me. I enjoy the idea that they hold tasting events as well as sales. Great selection. Great staff. This store is smaller than the Natomas one. Overall store has great collection of every type of liquor and beverage. I was able to find my Limit edition bottle of alcohol here unexpected =) while looking for some gift for a friend. The Staff here are like walking zombies =) When you try to look for them they play hide and seek. I have to walk from one side to the other side to find someone to open up a case of 24$ hennessy for me, which is more expensive than other retail stores. Review Via Blackberry read more

This place is pretty not bad. My boyfriend and his family were looking for alcohol to buy for his brother's wedding and this was the place to go! We bought Hennesy for $24 which was the cheapest out of all of the stores like Costco and Foodsco. They have a club card and everytime you spend you get 5% off. We spent over like $250. I wasn't sure the exact price but we got $40 off of our bill for signing up for the club card. They have a wide selectioon of alcohol. I would reccomend coming here if you can't find something at your local supermarket or liqour store. They also have the small little cute bottles which are soooo freakin adorable! I wanted to buy every single one of them but of course, I didn't. I was really tempted though. haha read more

IT IS GETTING REALLY OLD HAVING TO GO IN HERE AND ASK THEM TO PRICE MATCH EVERYTIME!!!! Why can't they just lower the price to match Total Wine..... Bevo, home of all of the liquors, wines, beers, kegs & soda. Whether it's a local or famous brand, you name it, they got it! It's very organized, clean, and has great service. Sometimes they have buy one and get the second one for .05 cents. Yep i said it, and i'll say it again, Buy 1 for reg price and get the second bottle for .05 cents. So if your going to throw a party, this place is the place to get your liquor if you come here during the right time. Having trouble to find the right wine? Ha, yupp. . . I'm Yelping a liquor store. It's come to this. This has to be my favorite Bevmo location-- and I've been to plenty. I work as an Activity Director nearby. This means that I am always coming in, filling my cart with copious amounts of alcohol and nonalcoholic alcohol (ha, yeah, it's a thing) for Happy Hours and other events at my Community. You would think they would have judged me by my frequency, but nope! They are always helpful, they always ask if I need assistance with all of my booze, they are happy to show me where a specific brand of something is, etc. Very glad this place is so close to work. Thanks, guys! read more

I had worked in the grocery business for 3 years, so I know the procedure on asking to see peoples id if they appeared to be under a certain age. Every time that I have come into this location, I have gotten nothing but bad attitudes and rudeness when it came to my turn to pay for the items I was there to purchase and the process of me getting my ID out to show them that I am of legal age to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. Other than the fact that I got rudeness from the people about my ID, I like the store and the selection that they have. read more

I am a frequent customer at many Bevvies but normaly in the Bay Area. Out of a handful of times going to this location while visiting I have been disappointed without fail. None of my favourite wines are ever in stock, Their variety for Australia/New Zealand wines is always poor in comparison with the Bevvies I normally go to. And almost always when I go in the lines are completely rediculous like they have noobs working them. When asked if I had "found everything all right" the last time I went in I said "No, everything I wanted was either not in stock or not carried here. I'm glad I live in San Jose." On top of the current disappointments I also got to add on that when I got to where I was staying I discovered the wine I had bought was corked. Last time I buy a California wine gamble. read more

Since three year ago, I noticed that they put out a new designed Hennessy gift box during the Christmas season. I usually buy it at Costco since it's cheaper there. However, this year - they didn't have it at Costco. Maybe, since they sell the 1.75 liters bottle at Costco now - they don't sell the regular 750 ml bottle (gift box) anymore. Well, at least they have it at BevMo - $26.99. Usually the gift box comes with a 750 ml Hennessy bottle with a small 50 ml bottle of Hennessy Privilege, but this year it came with a small 50 ml bottle of Hennessy Black. No a fan of the Hennessy Black, but the box was must cuter this year. read more
