Booze Wars! No it is not an A&E series but the reality of the fight to sell you alcohol. We have Total wine, Target, Costco, mom and pop, Walmart, and a plethora of various and sundry retailers. BevMo holds their own. They have a very good selection of both wines, beers, and liqour. To survive and expand their are getting into food items ( frozen foods etc)...good luck with that as the margins are nil. This location is great as it is very large and there is tons of free parking.

This place has everything when it comes to liquor. What mostly saw was a lot of hard liquor. I really saw some discounts on most alcohol compared to a corner store liquor store in San Francisco. The wine selection was not as massive as I thought but they have lots to choose from and there is also a beer section.

This is a LIE! They do not open until 10am on Sundays!

When Google, Yelp and the BevMo website for this specific location ALL say the hours on Sundays are 9am opening, the customers are going to believe this. Well, guess what. They DO NOT open at 9am but 10am. I pulled into the lot around 9:30 to pick up my order to be told they have opened at 10am for the past 20 yrs & the fact every single piece of info everywhere is wrong just doesn't make a difference. Um, okay. I'm not going to sit in this lot for 30 min & I'm not going to make another trip down here......you can keep your cider & I'll keep my money. Okay? Okay!!

House of Spirits. Very appropriate since this place is surrounded by cemeteries. Heck, in the city of Colma, there are more dead people than the living. That's a fact, Jack. Ohh...my bad, I'm referring to another kind of spirits. This used to be a movie theatre so it's a pretty good, decent size for a BevMo. How can you go wrong with all kinds of liquor and beer in one place? So after buying some Sake for me and some sweet wine for the wifey, we signed up for their BevMo club card. I guess it's time to put it to good use and start accumulating the reward points.

The people here are gravy and so soul with it. They create an exciting environment and make you feel all open arms to welcome you. It's a warm feeling I get with these people. They're good work ethics put your mind to the test, they motivate you, and they support your point of views. They are like a small family. Not to me, but to the general public. They are cool peeps

Time for a drink after dealing with NUTS today!

Ok, I admit it - I was expecting the store and experience to be exactly like BevMo!. Nothing wrong with their competitor, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. Located in the Gellert Marketplace, there is plenty of parking for patrons. The liquor store is also conveniently neighbours with other retailers such as Sprouts Farmers Market and PetSmart as well as food & beverage joints like the Habit Burger Grill, Panera Bread, and Starbucks. The venue, ornamented in hues of brown, is huge, but escapes the brightly lit warehouse feel, which is cool. We arrived at the retailer of fine wines from around the world, also stocking beers and accessories, shortly before 7:30 PM, grabbed a cart at the front entrance, filling it with a few cases of canned/bottled beers, coolers, etc. While perusing the vodka and tequila sections, Edgar introduced himself to us and helped us decide on a good vodka at a great price, TOWER VODKA. He also assisted us with choosing a couple of bottles of smooth tasting tequilas that wouldn't break our wallets, CIMARRON BLANCO and LLEGADO BLANCO. Everyone at our party the next day who took shots of tequila voted between CIMARRON and LLEGADO. I preferred the latter. Really appreciated Edgar's proposal on getting two smaller bottles of tequila to try each out instead of purchasing one big bottle. He delivered top notch service as well as warm and interesting conversation. We will definitely be visiting Total Wine & More for our spirit shopping, especially for our parties. When we do, we hope to work with Edgar again.

We enjoyed the sourdough pizza and toppings! I'm glad we had it with sausage instead of pepperoni. Love the hot honey! Crispy, chewy crust was Yummy! 5/5 BUFFALO WINGS with RANCH DRESSING ~ These wings don't look homemade. If it was done fresh, you'd get a glaze of Frank's Hot Sauce on the wings. The sauce looked fried into it, the wings were small, and the meat was dry. We've had better. 3/5 CAESAR SALAD ~ romaine, crisp capers, parmesan cheese, croutons. The salad was already wilting because they put the salad dressing on the romaine. It would be better if the dressing was on the side, so it stays fresh. The dressing was nice and zesty. 3.5/5 We enjoyed the pizza the most and would come back only for that. Highly recommend getting the Brooklyn if you like a little bit of spice in the pizza.

I was underwhelmed by their "by the glass" menu and settled on an Orange wine and my husband got a Sauvignon Blanc. We sat in the green velvet couches that felt like sitting in someone's basement. My husband took one sip of his wine and it was terrible, I took a sip and it smelled like it was turning. He went back to get a different glass and the owner reluctantly poured him a Rose. We sat and had two glasses each, about $60. When I went to pay, the owner said that she wanted to be "transparent" and was still charging me for half of the awful first glass we took back. I told her I tasted it and it was terrible. She was extremely rude about it. If you were being "transparent" you would have told me that before pouring another glass. So she charged me $6-7 when I would have tipped $10-12 on the tab and I'll never go back there again. That's just someone that doesn't know how to run a business. Don't go here, like the other reviews stated, it's really just for locals. I overheard the owner saying to someone she got a case of some wine cheap because the labels were misprinted. So they are running a cheap wine shop. If you go here, make sure you taste anything before you buy or you will be charged even if the wine has turned.
