Im rating at half because the gentleman that helped me went above and beyond to help without asking and educated me on Tequilas and those comparable to taste when the Herradura I wanted was out of stock. When I initially entered the store I walked up to the counter and asked the gentleman and another associate (girl who I will call RudeNess) if they had a Tequila Book- With the mask, the gentleman was confused on pronunciation- but when I clarified RudeNess said they didn't have books because they weren't a "Gift Shop" and as I mentioned there were some on-line she referred me to check the wall right next the the dedicated wall of GREETING CARDS! read more

Well...I was going to come in and buy a $250 bottle of WhistlePig 15 for a client, but since the customer service on the phone from your employee Vivian was so crappy (and condescending) and the price on the website was different than in store, I will just take my business over to Total Wine. Friendly customer service, but there was a heavy chemical smell when I walked in. But sure if it was a covid measure they put into place. Overall my experience at this location was pleasant. I had a great experience here this past weekend. I was searching for ginger liqueur and could not find it anywhere. The gal who helped me was so informative. She lead me to a yummy ginger liqueur plus she advised me on a new tequila. Casamigos Blanco Tequilaz WOW I'm so happy I took her recommendation. This stuff is fabulous. I highly recommend. Beware they claim price matching but will not price match if they don't like the competition's prices. Went in last week on my way to a Xmas party because they are about 5 miles closer to me than Total Wine, bought a bottle JW Black, 750ml, price was 32.99, I showed them Total Wine's price online for 23.99, they refuses To match it, said it was too low. Don't advertise price match if you do not how others's prices. Next time I'll drive the extra 5 miles. read more

Average to below average store It's a smaller store in their selection is not comparable to other locations. They do not have a very good beer selection, their alcohol selection is slightly below what I would expect from one of these chains. I was impressed however, on the higher end whiskeys, the pricing is very good, a third cheaper than total wine. Overall of this place would work in a pinch but I would avoid it if I'm looking for anything new, fresh, or different. read more

Don't buy the 5cent wine deal!!! I'm sure a lot people already know this is a total scam but for those who don't... The idea is that you buy one bottle for it's full price than you can buy another same bottle for 5 cents. What they don't tell you is they actually double the price of the wine so you actually are not getting a deal at all, and in some cases you are actually losing money. Perfect example, They were selling a bottle of Chianti for $29.95 and you would get the second bottle for 5 cents, when in reality the bottle is actually only worth 11.95... They more than doubled the price. It's really an unethical practice. Save your money and go to Vons. If you want to buy a keg or hard alcohol shop here.. They usually don't gauge their prices on those items. read more

I bought a Lg bottle of Rum Chata from the Anaaheim Hills Bevmo for $57.00. I was shocked, Total Wine sells it for $20.00 less.....did you read that, $20.00 less. Theres no excuse for that price difference. I went here knowing Bevmo was going to be a ...little...higher, but I didnt want to drive to Brea. Wrong...I'll never shop here again, even thou its more convent...sorry Bevmo!! read more

I like BevMo a lot however this five star rating is specially for Daniel who helped me select an amazing Scotch today! I shared with him the scotch I typically default to but this time wanted to try something new. He asked what characteristics I enjoyed in my preferred go-to and then made numerous suggestions with confidence and lots of insight. I took home one of his selections and after just sampling it had to sing his praises! He is an asset for BevMo and I'll be looking for him on future visits to steer me again in the right direction. Guys working here has an attitude. I went to go buy a nice bottle of wine for my bday and the manager looking type of guy was working next to the wine freezer told me to wait with unpleasant voice tone and told me he will bring the wine to the counter thinking that I was gonna steal the bottle of wine or something. I am 31 years old asian looking younger than many people assume I guess but judging by the looks is not right. I would rather buy wine from costco. read more

Very happy to see his store open but disappointed in the result. The store was unreasonably warm especially when they're storing that much wine there. They know the proper way to store wine because they have the expensive wine at the proper temperature. But the store should be kept cooler. The store was small and two baskets could not fit down an aisle. They had product on display in the middle of the aisles which were creating a problem and a hazard. Although the service personnel were very polite and always asked if we needed help, only one or two were knowledgeable about the products they were selling. Additionally, this place is expensive. It will do in a pinch but will not be my "go to" shop. read more

I don't like anything about the setup here. The prices are ridiculously high. It's so dumb how there's a price with a line through it, and then there's the price you pay. Both those prices are so high it's stupid. It's just a goofy way to shop. Rite Aid or Von's across the street will save you a ton of $$$ compared. They actually have sales. Go to Costco. We went to purchase a beer tap at the Anaheim Hills location. They only had a used one. I was very apprehensive to purchase a used beer tap but unfortunately Bevmo did not have a new one for me to purchase. So I bought it for the FULL PRICE ($60.00) under the advice of the cashier saying that it was sanitized. They did not advise me that this was a non-returnable item. I took the product home and I pondered my purchase. I decided I was not going to use it and take it back. When I tried to return the item the Bevmo customer service rep became very confrontational telling me that they would not take my purchase back because of COVID19. So much so that another cashier started raising her voice to me. I tried to reason with them, telling that that they had sold me a "USED" beer tap and didn't go by any health/safety standards because they said they sanitized it. I am going to start by saying how friendly I was greeted by Matt (I think that was his name). He helped me to find two specific items I was looking for and give me app information so I could receive a coupon. He was also nice enough to take my things to the register so that I could get one more thing I needed. The gentleman at the register was very nice as well and offered to order a desired brand I can never find anywhere. He was very patient while I downloaded the app on my phone and had a great attitude. I thought that aside from the store being new, the facility was well organized and staff is great.
