They worked hard expecially in the cold weather and were very polite in their demeanor and personalities. Woitek pointed out a defect in one of the windows which had a gouge in the frame of the window probably caused during shipment from the manufacturer to the my home. He took a picture of the gouge and assured me that a new piece would be ordered and replaced as soon as it comes in. Since the installation , both window units have exhibited significant defects.Ron tried to tell me the window rot out because of our dogs sit on the seat of the window. I have had 4 other window companies at my house . They said The window needs to be appropriately set on a durable, moisture-resistant substrate. The use of either pressure-treated wood or a suitable high-density styrofoam insulation material is required to provide a stable, long-lasting sill support that prevents moisture transfer and material breakdown. Premier did not do that for this install. Ron did give me a quote to do this if they were to install a replacement window.
