At the register next door a group of loud young adults were arguing that a guy giving samples already got them drunk and that it's ridiculous that the cashier is now asking for ID when the man didn't. Veronica was my cashier, she was awesomely pleasant. I still like Milford better (more craft beer singles selection), but wouldn't mind coming here again when it's convenient.

Three Visits Over an Extended Period, Three Disappointing Experiences - Customer Service Matters!…read more Old Post Spirits 694 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850 https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Old+Post+Spirits+694+West+Avenue+Norwalk+CT&utm_source=chatgpt.com I have been to this store only three times, and unfortunately, my experiences have gotten progressively worse. The first visit was just okay. During my second visit, the staff were somewhat rude, and the shelves were practically empty. I decided to give them one more chance, even though it had been about a year since my last visit. This third experience was by far the worst. I have rarely encountered such an unwelcoming attitude from people working in a retail business. I had two simple questions, and their responses and demeanor made me feel as though I was bothering them simply by asking. There was no warmth, no appreciation for my business, not even a simple "thank you" or "come again." In today's economy, people work hard for their money. When we choose to spend it at a local business, the least we should expect is basic courtesy and respect. Quite honestly, I walked out feeling foolish for having given this business another chance. I will not be returning. There are plenty of other smaller local businesses that would genuinely appreciate your patronage and make you feel welcome. A business shows you who they are through the way they treat their customers. Sometimes, you just need to believe what they show you. My money will be spent elsewhere.
