I've been to an Aritzia once before, suckered in by the flashy lights on a spherical globe, great…read moreinterior aesthetic, and someone wanting to look at a puffy winter jacket. That was the one at NorthPark Center in the DFW area. And lo and behold, the one there had a pretty dope winter themed Aritzia arcade machine in the store. If I recall correctly, it had a two player mode that was sort of co-op, sorta competitive. Of course, the controls weren't in that great of a shape. So naturally when I was strolling around the shops at La Cantera, I was excited when I spotted an Aritzia. Because, where else can you find an arcade machine in a clothing store? I was super stoked. Walking in, I scoured the entire store for the metallic arcade machine. I saw the snow globe lit Aritzia puffy sphere, but unfortunately this Aritzia does not have the arcade machine. Queue sadness. What they do have, however, appears to be a selection stylish clothing that is not excessively priced. The staff working here are quite helpful and friendly. They also appear to wear articles of clothing available in the store. They can accurately assess your size for each article of clothing, and won't hesitate to gather and carry your selected articles to the dressing room area. The dressing area contains curtains for each dressing stall. Additionally, there are mirrors which assist you in assessing your own appearance. There are also a few chairs and a couch in that area. Would I come back again? Probably only if they have the arcade machine available. Otherwise, it's not really a place I'd normally shop at since it doesn't contain garments that I wear. It's definitely a comfortable store, and I applaud their interior design.

Was invited to the Beauty Trend Event, the Skinfluence Festival last Friday, March 13 from 5-8pm…read more Holly Hoffman, the Store Administrator informed me of this specific event and Kay Soria had notified me of the 15% off Beauty sale from March 9-March 15, 2026. I RSVP'd and attended the festive event. I checked in and received a raffle ticket. You could see how they cordoned off the Beauty section as only guests w/RSVPs were allowed in the event. I could see different sections where they had demos for makeup, hair, skin, eyebrows, skincare and perfume. Angel saw me looking towards the first stop which featured Concealers and Setting Sprays by MAC & Charlotte Tillbury. She assisted me then passed me off to Lauren who helped apply some products and give tips. I showed her a list of my makeup which she had some in stock but had to ship others. When Lauren was applying my makeup, Angel was so sweet and brought me a Margie when I said "I should have a drink!" Lauren did great as she had to color-match me from several lines. She helped me find some products. Jordan from MAC came by and suggested a hydrating spray and the order of applying skincare since she said she was an Esthetician. She was bubbly, friendly, helpful and very positive! She was even giving me hugs & high fives! Now that's the Nordstrom service I'm used to! They had a DJ, Cotton Candy Margaritas, Bottled Water, Coca Cola, Charcuterie Bites, a cheesy Mac n Cheese type of dish and festive cake bites. I went to the Jo Malone section and a rep showed some fragrances. The DJ music was so loud so I walked out to get another drink and bites and came back to the Lancome station looking for a product and was helped by a woman holding raffle tickets. The main rep was busy so she helped shade-match me. I had to order online since that product was out of stock. Then she walked me towards the fragrance section. Another rep helped me as I was looking for Jasmine scents. She offered Diptyquem, Gucci, Good Girl Jasmine & Tom Ford's Jasmine. They didn't have samples for Good Girl & Tom Ford so she said to check Sephora. While checking out the scents, I heard my name being called for the raffle so I excitedly showed up to get my prize! Yay!! I went back to the fragrance rep and asked her about the Estee Lauder perfumes so she walked with me there. I was interested in a Gardenia scent so I asked if I could have a sample? She said sure and walked away. I sat for awhile waiting for her until the Estee Lauder rep told me she thinks she ended her shift?? The rep made me a sample. I thought that was inconsiderate and just a "Someone will help you momentarily..." or something to that effect would've been nice. Usually Nordstrom reps are mindful and respectful of my time. At least the Estee Lauder rep followed thru. The Beauty Trend Event was nice on a Friday evening as they're usually on a Saturday when everyone's shopping and it can get quite hectic. It was a pretty fun event and the theme of raffle stations where you can try different products was a great idea. I hope someone sends me a list of demos next time so I can prepare and check out products and reviews ahead of time. I like the convenience of being able to pick up items at Nordstrom Rack since there's one near me vs. driving all the way to Nordstrom La Cantera.

I wish I could give no stars as their security agents and certain employees in store ( especially…read moremanagement ) are literally unsafe, dangerous and hell of bullies. These security males have no balls to stand up and do what is right and their management ( female ones) suck . They get bored and start tripping on innocent customers when they do not have any thing better to do. The black lady (Grinch who stole Christmas attitude) this evening that was working at the register was rude she was returning a basket and I was going to get one I just asked politely if I could use the one she was returning since I was walking toward the baskets and she had an attitude about it. She said "they're all right there." Very unprofessional. Wow if you don't like your job quit. Wish my black Mom came with me because I know she would've said something to her...can you teach your employees not everyone they think as "other" steal and the sad part is most of them are minorities. Wanted to shop in peace but every time I looked up an employee was staring. Wow, do better. I hope other military vets and people in general have better shopping experiences and hopefully some of the employees will have better training. Unless it's the managers that teach them that then they need to get trained as well- Thank you to the lady that helped me at the dressing room and to the young lady that checked me out at the register (Caitlyn). She was very sweet. I appreciate people that take care of customers. -Ret military veteran

Anthropology?! Anthropologie! This is mostly a women's…read morestore, but they still have a fun, rustic retro kinda vibe that I can dig. They have some fun housewares stuff that usually revolves around birds or alcohol or flowers. They have a neat selection of things like drawer pulls or bookends or tchotchkes that you can put on your bookshelf or bedside table. It's all stuff that's nice to have, but with an extra cutesy yet rustic and classy design element that makes it all come together. This stuff looks like it'd be at Martha Stewart's log cabin in the woods. When I went, the place was a bit of a madhouse, but that was Black Friday. Mobs of people came crashing in for deals, and left the store in a bit of disarray. The clerks were outnumbered by customers several times over. It was packed. If you bump into someone here, do you owe them an apologie?

I get so frustrated with this store every year around Summer break. They seem quick to hire, but…read moredon't do a great job training or giving new employees trial periods. I've been shopping at this store for about 6 years. I shop for my personal wardrobe, business clothes, and dishes and textiles for my food photography business. I know most of the regular employees by name, at the very least by face, and they know me as well. On Saturday (May 2nd), I left close to $600 in merchandise at the register because of the employee's dismissive attitude while ringing it up. She not only ignored us (and everyone else) as we passed her on her way in, but also skulked around the store with a scowl that said she didn't want to be there. When we got to the register, she never greeted us, barely looked up at us, and never asked me for my Anthro Perks number. When I asked her if she would like it, she said, "I haven't asked for it yet." I shop there so much that I know the script is to greet the customer and ask, "Are you an Anthro rewards/perks member?" at the beginning of each encounter at the register. I told her she could cancel the sale, and we left. In this economy, those of us who have saved our money or choose to spend it with retailers shouldn't be left feeling like they're a nuisance. Anthropologie is not an inexpensive store. It makes no sense for us to spend money where we're treated like we don't belong. So, whoever was responsible for hiring the scowling blonde who was working at 7:30 PM on Saturday, May 2nd, should probably have her retrained or reevaluated on whether she actually wants to work there before allowing her to keep messing up your sales.

We visited this establishment last weekend and were appalled by the disgraceful customer service we…read morereceived. It all started when we observed our daughter being mistreated by the cashier after she requested a pair of shoes in her size. We observed the cashier belittling our 16 year old daughter and proceeded to intervene. We asked for a manager and that's when we were shocked by what happened next. We explained what transpired to the manager Noah, expecting him to "manage" the situation, but he had the audacity to responded saying "I didn't see what happened so...". He shrugged his shoulders and further stated "I'm sorry you feel that way but I didn't see what happed so there's nothing I can do about it". We patiently explained the situation again and his response was the same. We instructed our daughter to put the shoes back because we will never spend another dime in Shoe Palace. At this point the manager reared his disrespectful attitude and stated "don't ever come back here again". Frustration set in for us at this point as we followed him to the cash register and asked for his name. He refused to give us his name and also protected the young lady who disrespected our daughter as both of them vanished to the back of the store and refused to come out and deal with the unfortunate incident. We demanded his manager's name and he refused to provide that information as well. Another employee at this point saw what was going on and called one of the other managers to handle the situation. He was very helpful, apologized for the incident and provided us the name of the other manager, Noah, who was overly disrespectful to our family. I'm not sure what type of training these managers/employees receive but they need some serious training because we will never, and I repeat, never do business with Shoe Palace again. You have lost very valuable customers!! Our family has given a lot of business to SP, but the disrespect and unprofessionalism we endured this trip has permanently cancelled any future business with Shoe Palace. We will also encourage our vast network to NEVER shop at this establishment. I hope SP's corporate team engages with this location sooner rather than later because this seems to be a trend based on the other disappointing reviews written about this location. I highly recommended replacing this VERY inexperienced, rude, and obnoxious manager with someone competent. I also recommend personnel training for the entire staff and that ALL EMPLOYEES WEAR NAME TAGS. I also recommend a point of contact outside the store in the event future customers encounter this level of disrespect and lackluster customer service.
