My mom was a vendor at BFI Treasures. She signed a three month contract beginning September 1st…read morewith Jennifer, the owner. My mom agreed to give her $250 plus 10% of her sales each month. Jennifer gave her a booth with electricity. They agreed she would sell pies and bakery items. My mom purchased a $2000 commercial refrigerator and put it in her store. The refrigerator takes 24 hours to get cool. My mom was waiting closer to October to start filling it with her pies. Two weeks after being a vendor there, Jennifer goes into my mom's booth and unplugs her refrigerator without asking or telling my mom. She was getting ready to spend a ton of money on pies. She had no other place to store her pies once they were purchased but in the commercial refrigerator at BFI Treasures. If she had shown up with her pies, they would have gone bad due to Jennifer unplugging her fridge. My mom had also put some gift items in her booth to sell as well. She did not have an empty booth. Yesterday, September 30th, my mom decided to go to her booth and get her gift items and refrigerator. My husband and I went with her along with the gentleman she purchased the refrigerator from. He showed up to help her get the fridge out of the store and back to our house. Jennifer was not at the store at the time, but her employee Vicki was. We walked in peacefully with our boxes to get our stuff. Vicki proceeded to get Jennifer on the phone to let her know we were taking our stuff. We got everything out but the fridge. My husband went back in, and Vicki stood in front of it, blocking my husband from getting out of the store. My mom was all paid up with her rent. Everything belonged to my mom. Jennifer showed up at the store screaming it was her birthday." She kicked us all out of the store and told us we were trespassing, then called the police on us. My mom had a right to be there. She had paid up on her booth fee. Jennifer broke the contract when she unplugged my mom's fridge. You dont go messing around on other peoples booths. She paid for the use of the electricity. My mom could not risk spending a ton of money for the holidays on pies and bakery items to come into the store with her fridge unplugged. Jennifer had the nerve to tell my mom she had a $500 electric bill, and she was wasting electricity. Her bills are not our problem. She was taking enough of my mom's money to cover the electricity. We waited two hours in the heat, waiting for the police to show up. One cop sided with Jennifer, and the other cop was siding more with my mom. In order for my mom to get her fridge out of the store, the cop made her pay the other two months of rent even though Jennifer is majorly in the wrong. When my mom and Jennifer decided my mom was going to sell bakery items, Jennifer tried to undercut her and started baking cookies. Jennifer is selling bakery goods in her store that have been prepared there, without a health department certified kitchen. She is claiming that she is selling them under the Cottage food law guidelines. However, those guidelines require each baked good to be individually wrapped and labeled. They are lined up in a case on the counter and not individually wrapped. The baked goods sometimes sit for days because there is no business in the store. She demanded my mom label everything she brought in. Jennifer doesn't abide by the law herself. Unfortunately, my mom also lives across the street from her. The whole month, my mom was in her booth she did not sell one thing. Every time we went up to BFI Treasures, there were never any customers. Jennifer will not advertise her business at all. She relies on the kids from her non-profit and vendors to do her advertising for her. She is too cheap to pay for an ad in the Windcrest newsletter. Nobody even knows she is there. We live in Windcrest and didn't even know she was there until she told us one day. She is ripping off her vendors. People are going to get sick of paying high booth fees and not selling anything. I suggest anyone trying to be a vendor there needs to investigate her. You will not sell your merchandise. You walk in, and the same stuff is sitting on the shelves. She is good with her words. Jennifer acts like she has an upstanding business, but in reality, she is taking advantage of people for her own gain. My dad, my mom's husband, passed away a few months ago. She lost his income. Jennifer knew this and still came after what little money she had left. She is ruthless!

I'm a crafter at this mall and it has many things to offer and expanding their selections weekly…read more Every week I go in to check my stock I see something new. They have metal work, plants , beading supplies, spoon crosses, jewelry, this week I saw that they now have evening gowns and scarves. I'll be honest I go in mostly to check my stock and try not to buy anything so I don't look much (I have a shopping problem) so I know that I'm missing some of the things they offer. The two ladies who run the mall are nice and very helpful. You have to go in and see for yourself. I'm sure you'll find something you can't live without. The only real issue is that it is set off from the street so it's easy to miss. If you're coming from Harry Wurzbach it's on the right between a dentist office and sonic.
