We constantly see people coming in and out, so we finally decided to give it a shot. Our bartender, Mel. Hopefully I spelled her name right, was super friendly and made us feel welcome. I had the Raspberry Mule, and my wife had the MVP. Both drinks were great! I think it's safe to say we found our new watering hole. We'll definitely be back!

It was a lot of people cheering for Norway and everyone seem to be having a good time. Rather loud with all the tvs and light chatter but the cool AC beats sitting in the outdoor patio. Some seats had reservations on them too. Theres a large couch too for large groups that seem fun with friends. We ordered a beer, ginger ale, chicken wrap with fries, and cauliflower. It was a lot of food for two but the average person that comes here probably appreciates the large portion size. The chicken was coated with sauce and had a spinach tortilla. It was so satiable. The servers were all prompt and seem to juggle many roles like bartending and bussing as well. They were quick to take our order and easy to waive down to ask for a side of pickles since they were always moving around even if they were a few. Two single stall bathrooms. One per gender: Place seems very clean and the bar looks well stocked and organized. Floor was a bit sticky near the bathrooms. I would come again.

The bartending staff at Chaak always treats customers like family, but unfortunately, they close early, so my sister and I would often end up at The Swinging Door afterward. This past Friday night, the bar was not busy, yet Jacqueline, the bartender, repeatedly ignored us. After our first drinks, we tried to order a second round and flagged her down several times, but she showed no interest in helping us. Her behavior came across as dismissive, rude, and completely uncalled for. I had not been back to The Swinging Door in a long time because of a similar experience, but I previously chalked it up to the bar being busy that night. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that poor customer service continues to be an issue. No one goes to a bar on a Friday night expecting to be ignored or treated poorly by the bartender. Lesson learned. I sincerely hope management retrains its bartending staff and reminds them that being attentive and kind to customers is a basic part of the job.

Other than that, this place is great to grab a drink and watch a game.

Hi Melene Thank you for your response. I want to acknowledge…read morethat I did eventually sit down without being seated, and I understand that doing so was not consistent with your normal process. For that, I take responsibility. However, I believe your description leaves out important context that contributed to the situation. I waited in line like every other customer and spoke directly with the hostess. She was preparing to seat me, but then informed me that because I did not yet have all four members of my party present, I could not be seated. I explained that some members of my party were still looking for parking while others were on their way, and asked whether I could simply be seated as a party of one while I waited. I had driven a considerable distance specifically for this event and intended to purchase food and drinks. I was told that I could not be seated or served until the rest of my party arrived. What made this especially confusing was that the event had been advertised as first come, first served. Based on that advertising, I reasonably expected that arriving early and waiting in line would secure a place. Instead, I was told I could not be seated or served despite having arrived and waited my turn. Out of frustration, I briefly sat down hoping to get a drink of water and order food while waiting. When I was told I could not sit there, I immediately got up and left the table. I then asked whether there was anywhere else I could at least get food and water while waiting for my friends. Both the hostess and the manager informed me that I could not be served unless my full party was present. What further added to my frustration was watching a party of two get seated shortly afterward. Whether there were circumstances I was unaware of or not, it created the appearance that the policy was being applied inconsistently. My concern is less about being denied a table and more about the inconsistent messaging and customer experience. Had I been clearly informed in advance that "first come, first served" was subject to a full-party seating requirement, I would have planned accordingly. While I can acknowledge my role in the interaction, I believe there is also an opportunity for your business to reflect on how situations like this are communicated and handled. Customer dissatisfaction often comes not from the existence of a policy, but from inconsistent application and poor communication of that policy. Given the number of reviews expressing similar concerns, it may be worth considering whether there is a pattern that deserves attention. I wish your business success and appreciate you taking the time to respond.

There's a full bar, a huge menu, billiards, and multiple sports playing throughout the venue--including college football, soccer, and UFC--so there was always something happening. What really stood out to me was the hospitality. And let me talk about the FOOD because I honestly wasn't expecting bar food to be THIS good! Everything tasted like it came from an actual restaurant rather than a typical sports bar. The menu has so many options that there really is something for everyone, whether you're coming for a full meal, drinks and appetizers, or just to watch the game. I loved the lively atmosphere--it was energetic without feeling like there was nothing else going on besides the sports. Between the huge menu, full bar, billiards, multiple games on, and friendly staff, Danny K's is definitely a place where you can come hang out and make an entire evening out of it. Definitely a spot to add to your Orange list if you're looking for good food, drinks, sports, and a fun atmosphere!
