When you're in her shop you are not simply looking at letterpress cards, you are looking at works of art. That's how beautiful her work is. On top of that she is very kind, provides a quick turnaround time, and excellent customer service. I cannot recommend Papermum highly enough.

From the beginning it was super easy to schedule a virtual consult with Vivian and I appreciated how she took the time to explain everything, the different styles of invites, and was even transparent about the cost of certain designs or add ons. I initially got a quote from someone else who explained nothing and tried to up-charge me, so Vivian's transparency and non-pressured approach to choose what works for me and not the more expensive options, made the experience a million times better! Once I decided to work with her, the process of creating the invitation itself was so easy. I appreciated the different options presented to me and the ease of asking to edit things until we arrived at the final product. Vivian and her team brought my vision to life and the end result was exactly what I had hoped for! I think the best part was the option to create a crest of mine and my fiancé's initials, and being able to keep the image file of it so that we can create other mementos with it...lowkey already made it the wallpaper on my phone! All in all, highly recommend choosing Golden Moments for your invitations if you want a quality product!

I never wanted to get married, that is until I met the Hungarian, and then I wanted nothing more…read more The wedding I was less enthusiastic about. Something simple but classy. I had a specific aesthetic I just didn't know how to express that in the context of nuptials. I went on TheKnot.com for ideas. Huge mistake. Most of the girls on that site have been planning their weddings since conception. If you're like me and would have been happy to elope, then The Knot will make your head explode. Totally de trop! But, I have to give them credit for turning me on to letterpress. My own search led me to De Milo Design. In 2003, I got my wedding invitations here. It was the easiest wedding-related decision I made (next to YES!). Dealing with Annika was so calming. And within five minutes, I knew exactly what I wanted. The invitation is the first taste of your wedding (assuming you don't do save-the-dates). Much like an overture or a prelude, it should set the tone of what's to come. My point is: the invitation is just as important as the dress. Recently, I referred my friend to them after seeing some of the crap other, more expensive letterpresses were trying to pass off as elegant, more like excessive. My friend ended up going with De Milo too, and I was shocked to see the prices really haven't gone up in 11 years! Inks, card stock, design, fonts, all gorgeous. They don't do anything tacky here. Just exquisite work. They're true artisans.

She asked what I was looking for and gave me information on their minimum order. I explained what I was hoping to do for a golf outing at the end of the month and when I would need them. I know I was pushing it because I arrived at my decision to do this quite late in the game. AnnMarie responded to my information and told me that the workload was such that they could not accommodate my request. She also told me that she even tried to move their schedule to accommodate me but that wasn't possible. Despite their inability to fill my need, I was completely blown away and thoroughly impressed by what AnnMarie did next. She gave me the name of a competitor in Pasadena that she recommended highly.
