I will never come back. My first visit to any Better Buzz Coffee was 07/26/2025. I was upset about the high volume of ice and low amount of drink. I bought two drinks just to get one. My second visit was on 08/15/2025 to the Escondido Better Buzz and I can safely say it's the last. First the good: The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and things tended to move along at a good pace. I prefer a paper receipt but after 3 minutes of fighting with the receipt machine I realized she was never going to get it to work. As for the bad: That is one expensive cup of ice. I was willing to forgive my Poway visit as a "one time thing" even though I bought two drinks just to get one. Now that I see the same pattern is going on here in Escondido, I realize I'm looking at a pattern for how Better Buzz works at the corporate level. I stopped going to Starbucks 15+ years ago over their ever increasing "ice line" on the cup which kept moving higher and higher each year. It looks like I'll be doing the same thing with Better Buzz. Look at that picture, it's 70% ice. Everything's gone in about three sips. This place is for people who are bad with money and just want to buy a "feeling". There's enough suckers out there that meet that description. I'm different, I care about the value of what I paid versus what I got. What I got was a reminder to try someone else next time. Better Buzz Coffee always delivers. The drinks are on point, the vibe is upbeat, and the staff keeps the place moving even when it's packed. The Coconut Best Drink Ever is my go-to. Smooth, balanced, and honestly one of the best coffee drinks in San Diego. Big shout-out to Ignacio for making the experience even better. He's friendly, fast, and actually cares about getting everything right. If you want great coffee and great energy, this is the spot. read more

Went to better buzz for a take out order and got ripped off. $10 for a sandwich that was not made as described. The turkey and brie sandwich I ordered only came with 2 slices of turkey and a squirt of mayo...... that's it. Oh and a single leaf of arugula. No actual arugula, tomato or even brie. I paid $10 for meat and bread. Tried calling but there is no way to contact because they don't answer their phone. Y'all could have at the very least let me know or offered a discount or something but instead whoever made this decided, whatever this is fine. This is just pure laziness plain and simple. Nothing like a BB coffee! Stopped in for a Candy Cane Best Drink Ever to celebrate the Holidays and it was good, a bit on the sweeter side however it's the Holidays indulge! Drive-thru was quick got in and out in 4 minutes, the gal taking orders was nice and reviewed drink options for me. I love that this place has a drive-thru. I bought 2 Iced Mochas Blended with oat milk, and they were delicious! Highly recommend! Service was fast and the woman who gave me my coffee was really nice. She also offered my dog a pup cup. It cost $14 for 2 Regular sized coffees. I will be back! The inside is also SUPER cute if you want to sit inside or take some Instagram photos. I was having a slow morning while leaving my parents in Escondido and decided to stop by Better Buzz for a coffee to get a boost of energy in my day. This parking lot can be a bit chaotic but I was able to get over to the drive thru lane and I was surprisingly the only car in the drive thru. I went to this better buzz location on monday 5/11 afternoon and the cashier, Arold was amazing!!! I typically like to mobile order but I went in this time to order with a barista and was greeted with a warm, welcoming smile. Filthy location with offensive music. I've only been to this location once, so it possible that it was just a bad day for them. But, there was a fly flying around inside the pastry case. The barista seemed overwhelmed, in a bad mood, and had out on the counter many things that should have been refrigerated. Plus, the music being played was offensive. The bottom line: even though I came in intending to buy a pastry and a coffee, I left without buying anything.
