Online they only have a limited number of available tickets per hour and day since the establishment isn't the biggest and they let one group at a time. We got there a little late but we were still able to go inside but had to wait until the next group session which was fine. The actual pop up is pretty small and not really worth it.. it has a total of about 6 rooms maybe, they have 2 rooms downstairs. In the beginning while you're in line to get in, They give everyone a coin so you can use at this pin machine that gives an egg pin. The only thing I thought was pretty cool was the big egg carton that you are able to take a photo in .. I wouldn't do this again or recommend it.

The staff were super sweet and were nice about taking pictures for you. My favorites were the ball pit and the egg swing! Some of the other showings were questionable like an egg on a bed in a dark room. Another one is if you look into a hole in the wall, you'll see a mini egg on a tiny bed... Me and the fam were in Boston for the weekend and my sister really wanted to go to this. The women in my family also love selfies wayyy more than I do, lol. Plus, it's 12 rooms so I figured there had to be a good variety or creativity in there. The positives: -Staff is amazing and super-friendly. They deserve all the glowing reviews. -The first 2 rooms are pretty amazing and well thought-out/detailed. -One of the rooms is a cute little photo shoot option with boxing gloves and rose petals, set up by a staff member, and they give you a commemorative, physical photo. We were on a family trip so this was kind of meaningful. -The QR code they give you to scan for pics in each room that are accessible through a link emailed to you is a pretty neat concept that should be incorporated in more experiences like this. The negatives: -$30 a pop. Not worth it. I've been to way better, more creative, IMMERSIVE art experiences for less. -After the first 2 awesome rooms, the other 10 are very low-effort with minimal creativity. Almost like they gave up. It's like they took their ideas from Snapchat filters and made a room out of it. One room quite literally just adds a pair of goofy lips to your face in like a 5 second video. Another, is just a recording of you dancing next to a giant polar bear. I guess I just like my photography to make sense, or for there to be some kind of central theme. - Half the rooms have animated screens as backdrops, but as we all know, when you get close to a computer screen with a cell phone camera, the pixels show up pretty grainy if you get too close. So while some of the screens looked cool, that coolness didn't transfer to the phone pic, which, since this is a selfie museum, seems like a gross oversight. -One of the rooms has a giant inflatable mouth that you're NOT ALLOWED TO GO INSIDE. But of course, that's the one thing you'd WANT to do in that room. I say, pass on this one.

There are some eclectic items from Hello Kitty noodle cups to Hello Kitty rice cookers, and even some one of a kind custom t-shirts. The main draw is the cute designs and appeal of this international brand; the draw-back is the insane price tag; a printed t-shirt has a MSRP of $60. I don't even want to know the price of that rice cooker. Come early as crowd line gets longer mid-afternoon. Was able to get a few complimentary photo-booth photos, but missed the chance to meet Hello Kitty in person.

My coworker and I went during our lunchbreak today and it was beautiful sunny weather. The shop is there to commemorate the celebration of Notorious BIG's Birthday and to also highlight the " Bad Boy" Reunion Tour (I will be attending tonight's concert at the Barclays Center). I saw such cool merchandise that included t-shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, hats, lighters and a special towel and scarf. The staff was very helpful in sharing information around prices of the items. The space was clean and orderly and check out happened quickly. The artwork inside depicted various pictures of Biggie. Had a nice time at the shop!

Exactly the type of location you'd picture it at - a perfect fit. There are upwards of 30 vendors in the space with everything from pottery, clothing, jewelry, coasters, plants, and general household knick-knacks that you're SURE to find something for yourself or something for a friend's birthday or for a "just because" gift. I'm obsessed. It's extra cool because you're shopping local and supporting local businesses and artists. Tip: don't miss the trucks stopped outside that are also part of the event (esp Hunt & Gather!). So freaking cool that there are pop-up shops INSIDE trucks as part of the pop-up shop! As most know, shopping local oftentimes comes at a cost... and some things are a bit pricey. Which is why I'm knocking it down a star. It's not the market's fault, but it still makes it tough for us sort-of-frugal-buyers to find affordable items. I did, however, get an amazing coaster with the Brooklyn Bridge on it, painted by a local, and there were some plates/bowls and rings I had my eye on as well.
