Been here about 2 times so far with some girlfriends of mine. I come for SNS powder manicures and pedicure. The ladies all do a great job and the location has easy parking. The price is a bit pricier than what I'm used to but i normally go to places in the Bronx. Both times I've been a bit disappointed about the color choices (couldn't find similar colors to what i wanted) but they give a lengthy massage for both the legs and back with this booking. read more

Me and my mother walked in, just like we would any other nail salon, and although all the spots were taken, we would've waited. But the minute we walked in, nobody greeted us or asked us what we wanted. I tried to get someone's attention to ask how long was the wait for a pedicure but nobody was responding. Then after 5 minutes, another lady walked in (a different nationality) and was greeted immediately and was asked what she wanted done today. I've never felt so disgusted and disappointed in my entire life. I was raised to treat people for their personality and not for what color they are. You would expect that everyone that works here knows how to cut nails but these people don't . They gave me an ingrown nail 3 times because they didn't cut my nails the correct way. Once on my fingernails and twice on my toes the last time the nail technician yanked the side of my nail with the cuticle cutter !! Are you for real! Monica and June do great SNS and gel manicures. I can go 4-5 with powder lasting with no chipping and I work where my hands get wet a lot and the polish never comes off . The massages are great . I would highly recommended this spa. read more

The new owners are very nice and have updated the place and have tried to stay current bringing on new nail colors. I've been going here for 2 years regularly, so today when I went for my bi weekly mani-pedi I was VERY disappointed. Usually Julie does my nails. She really does a great job and an amazing massage and my mani lasts at least a week. She wasn't available today so I got a spa hot stone pedicure($35.00)the woman who did my pedicure butchered my toes! My feet has a small amount of calluses but nothing the regular buffing and lotion wouldn't get rid of. My heels are now rough, dry and gross looking, one of my toe nails are shaped oval the other square and I just can't explain what's going on with the rest of them. The spa pedicure lasted about 17-18 minutes (with the 15 minute massage) when she massaged my legs and feet she just rubbed them in a very fast motion no pressure or anything like in the description of the actual service. It actually hurt. She then put the hot stones on my legs and burnt me they were so hot. I said OUCH!!! And she just ignored means continued to burn my legs. She kept whacking the bone on my ankle with the stones. When she painted my nails she got paint all over my toes and cuticles (that she didn't remove). When finished she rushed me over for the manicure and walked away started on someone else. Another woman came over to do my manicure 10 mins later. I noticed she had latex gloves on. I explained to her I have a latex allergy you can't touch me with them. She got very annoyed ripped the gloves off( the powder from inside the give went on the table, she went to touch my hands with out cleaning her station off or washing her hands.( there was still nail clippings from previous customers on the table along with tools that hadn't been sanitized. I said i no longer wanted the manicure, she was extremely rude and waved another client over, not saying anything to me. Im very disappointed spending $35.00 plus tip. I was at the salon for an hour and a half and my horrible spa service was not very long and the experience was anything but relaxing! Total waste of money. I noticed the name has changed, same people but a lot of new faces. : very disappointed loyal long time customer! read more

This place is a hit or miss. The owner has made my nails look so beautiful before but her other employees are AWFUL. The one employee makes my nails too thick and gets mad when I ask for thinner because she says they will break. Not only that but she's sloppy, and genuinely does not care what your nails look like. She insisted my nails be short and had already cut them and asked if that was fine but they were already glued to my nail so I didn't really have much say, she insists they be short because what I like apparently is too long. Don't go here if you're not ready to walk them through every thing you want because they will mess it up and leave it that way if you say nothing. The owner is the only good one and even she messes up but not nearly as bad as the Other lady who does gel/acrylic. Terrible. I got a regular manicure with a clear coat. Something anyone should be able to do. When the lady was done i looked at my fingers and saw most of my cuticles were still very visible. All my nails were completely uneven. mind you this was YESTERDAY and already all of my fingers have chipped nail polish. As i left and went to pick up my phone there was a cricket right on top of it. I used to come here all the time when I worked in Levittown but haven't been there in a while since I work farther out east now. When I used to come, it was always a great experience (even though I had to tell them to fix crooked nails a lot, but they never acted annoyed). I used to tell all my friends to go here when they needed anything. I decided to come back a couple of days ago because I had a wedding and I wanted French ombré and I know that Monica always did a great job. When I got there the atmosphere felt very different and there were some new faces. Monica greeted me and started on my nails, but she seemed miserable. I tried to make some conversation like I used to but she wasn't in the mood. She filed my nails very aggressively and cut me in 3 places. She was really sorry and kept apologizing. It seemed as if she is going through something and taking it out in her work and on her customers. My nails came out okay but they are super thick but I didn't bother to ask her to fix it. Now, the reason I am giving one start is not for my experience, but for my friend who went to Monica right after me after I left. My friend who I told to come here to get her nails done for HER wedding day. She also wanted acrylic French ombré and coffin shape but she has very small nail beds so she wanted it short. Monica kept saying she couldn't do short and coffin shape which I understand but her nails came out ridiculously long for her small hands. She asked her if she could make them shorter and she said no. My friend kept saying how she did not feel comfortable and wanted them shorter and she was straight up telling her "NO". Seriously?? She said she couldn't make them shorter because they wouldn't be coffin shape anymore and the lady next to her getting her nails done butted in and said she has gotten her nails done shorter than that and coffin shape. She Monica was like "ugh fine, sit down". Extremely rude. Then as she was shortening them my friend was telling her to go shorter and she became escalated and said "NO!!" She said she wouldn't because the white on the French ombré would no longer show. What does she care??? She is the one providing the service and getting paid! Listen to your customer! After she wouldn't shorten them they were not even coffin shaped anyway and they were not buffed properly and some fingers had a big bump. I don't know how you can't provide this type of service knowing your customer is going to be a bride in 2 days, or to anyone for that matter. My friend tried to give her a small tip due to how extremely rude she was and she was like "are you serious? After all the work I did on your nails? No, I'm charging you more." At that point my friend was overwhelmed and fed up and just let her do what she wanted. I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed for recommending this place and will never go back here again. read more

I'm beyond frustrated with this nail spa. I've been coming here as a loyal customer for 5+ years and stuck with them when they had turnover of staff multiple times. I called and made an appointment and called saying I needed to change it to 15 minutes later. They said not a problem. When I came in, I waited 45 minutes for my appointment... which is an hour past my original appointment time. In my opinion, there's no reason to make an appointment. I missed my next appointment of the day and I had a jam packed day because it was 3 days before my wedding. They take people just to get as many customers as possible and appointments don't seem to matter. They tell people to wait without telling them how long. It's unfortunate because kelly gives a great pedicure. If they couldn't take me 15 minutes later, they should have told me that. I couldn't stay for the full pedicure because I had my next appointment elsewhere. And still was charged full price for half a pedicure. I will never go back!!!!!!!!! I love the nail techs most of them are so sweet and good at what they do, but hate the nail colors. They never get new colors for gel or SNS , and if you want a "perfect match" you will not get an exact perfect match. When you choose your color for your pedicure and then get a manicure as well the ladies say they have a perfect match and they actually wrote perfect match on the swatch of nail color choices but it's not a perfect match of color just a similar one. Kinda annoying. And my pedicure chipped the same day I got it. Sad but hoping the place makes some changes. read more

Went there several times- had both pedicures, regular and powder dip gel manicures. The girls there insisted on filing my whole nail for the gel manicure even though I know its not necessary and thinned my nails out too much. When I decided to soak them off and go for a regular manicure to get my nails back, the girl had an attitude. She forgot to oil my cuticles, and them forgot to do a hand massage and hot towel wrap. All of a sudden, she starts putting on the polish. I had to stop her to remind her what she forgot. She then walked away after she was done to the next client.. Appalling. The worst nail salon I have ever went to in my 37 years of life. Apparently my fingers weren't relaxed enough so Jessica grabbed my wrist tight and yanked while scolding me to "relax". I said to her that she could speak a little nicer. That began her muttering under her breath and rapidly speaking in Chinese for the rest of my manicure. After all the rudeness, she had to redo my thumb FIVE times because first she left paint off, then the other four times she kept touching it before it was dry (I got the SNS). She was awful and the fact that the word "professional" is part of their salon name is truly ironic. Oh and they reuse the cuticle cutters etc, did not sterilize from previous customer. Since it's finally getting warm, I decided to get my first pedicure here. Jessica did an amazing job. My toes came out perfect. The leg massage and the back massage they give you when your nails are drying was the best. Cee Cee did a design on my big toe to match my nails that she did. The service was fast and friendly. This is a terrible place. The chemical odor is intolerable. Jessica was so apathetic, insensitive and outright rude. She hurt me several times and handled my hands very roughly. She kept saying that she had to file hard. I finally had her remove the polish and walked out. I went across the way to Angie's Nails. I will never go back there! Terrible service.
