Often when we arrived in the morning the owners Tom & Cheryl were barley awake & sometimes in their PJ's! *A lot of people stopped going b/c the school was shut down for almost an entire summer due to sexual abuse allegations. * Is a chance you want to take w/ your child? Basically, you are better off going to a REAL preschool like Eugene Montessori or an equivalent.

Deb is an energetic and creative teacher who engages the kids in all manner of activities. Not only does she create learning units and lesson plans, but she regularly provides the kids with play time outside all year round--a necessity for my outdoor-loving child. My daughter begins kindergarten this fall, and she has said on more than one occasion that she "doesn't want to move on from Deb's." It has been a very positive experience for us having her at Brighter Beginnings, and we're thankful to have found such a safe, warm place for her to spend her pre-K days. My five-year-old loves reading and my three-year-old can name plants and insects I didn't know existed. They know the water cycle, the life cycle of frogs, and how tomatoes grow, all because of time spent with Stacy and her skilled, excellent staff. They play outside, learn how to tumble, use sign language with their pre-verbal "school" mates, and care for animals in a safe, loving home.
