The instructors I've had are fine, but the staffs are extremely rude and unresponsive. They rescheduled my appointments three times in one week, and the way they asked was not even polite - very abrupt, with no apologies at all even though it was never my fault. Can't reach anyone over the phone, would not respond to messages in time, and never sent me any formal confirmation of anything. This business is so unorganized. I've already paid for my series of lessons so I'll finish that for the certificate. Avoid if you can. read more

The people at Lane County Driving School at both incredibly nice and accommodating. We missed the application deadline by a week or so and really needed to get our kid in a driving school after failing the DMV driving test a few times. They were like "No problem!" Bianca was immediately kind and welcoming and made my kid feel comfortable in class. Patty has a great demeanor with teens, helping them remain calm while learning new skills behind the wheel- my kid is a confident, good, safe driver now! I can't say enough good things about our experience at Lane County Driving School (LCDS)! From the initial inquiry phone call to the final exam, everyone was wonderful! My almost 16 year old son never complained once about going to class or the drives. He only had positive feedback regarding all of the in-class instructors and the driving instructors. We tried for months to get drivers training for my wife from Lane County driving School. Appointments were cancelled by the school, instructors simply didn't show-up, and 5 mins before scheduled classes an instructor called us and said a headache was keeping the instructor from keeping the appointment. What a almost 3 month waste of time. Thank goodness we didn't pay anything. I would say try any other and all of the other programs before you went to this one. read more

The Lane County Driving School is absolutely fantastic! I am currently a student at the University of Oregon and was looking to get my license for summer. I took the 4 private lessons with instructor Emily and was blown away with how calm, and collected, yet also critical (in a good way) she was during our lessons. The lessons also are at a killer deal that is hard to not take! They also provide a car that picks you up for your lessons, which was great for me while I was living in the dorms. Another great thing about the Lane County Driving School is that they can proctor the actual driving test once you're all done with lessons. I had my test with Patty, and with no surprise whatsoever, she was the absolute sweetest. I usually have pretty bad test anxiety, but she made things so easy and stress free. Everything that I had learned in my lesson from Emily really helped me on my final test. I can't rave enough about what a life saver the Lane County Driving School was for me. This driving school is so kind. Especially a driving teacher Patty and the office staff are always nice. My friends feel nervous and frustrated to me when they teach driving to me. But Patty praises me and never make me nervous. So, I always enjoyed conversations and driving. If I didn't meet her, I disliked driving. Lane County Driving School is great! My boyfriend and I both had negative experiences in the past involving impatient driving instructors at other driving instruction companies, but we were both pleasantly surprised by our experiences with Lane County Driving School. We each had four one and a half hour driving sessions with Patty. She was calm and patient and she didn't make us feel pressured or stressed. She was professional and friendly. She gave us tips and pointers to help us feel confident enough for the license test, which we both passed on our first try. I highly recommend Lane County Driving School. I have been driving for 6 months now and love to drive , 6 months ago I never would have been able to say that .i was scared and nervous and hated to even get behind the wheel . Patty and brad not only got my comfortable behind the wheel they taught me tips and important information about driving . I met them 1 to 2 times a week and each time I learned something new . I learned how to park and parallel park how to merge what to do in situations and how to stay calm . Not only that they are very affordable ! They make driving fun , and they help you be confidant they believe in everyone and it shows. I took my driving test and I got 100% and it's all because of what great teachers they are . When I passed they were just as excited as I was ,they really are cheering you on very step of the way. 6 months later I still am loving driving and still follow their tips and rules. If your a teen or someone who wants to learn how to drive but needs help this is the school to go to. You will not regret it .
