DANGER DANGER DANGER DANGER Do not get in Car with Brad
One of the most bizarre experience of my life. I'm an adult who got along with out driving but I'm moving out of town and wanted to take what little I have left with me and have my last vacation. I signed up for four lessons and the first went well coinciding it had been 5 years since I had practiced, Second lesson Brad refused to roll up the window because he was hyperventilating and needed air so I could not hear every thing he said over the traffic noise. Third lesson the car smelled like Pot and Brad was soon hyperventilating again and rolled down the window, halfway through the lesson he was in a full on panic attack and screeching and I could not understand a thing he said, then he was yelling "Why don't you listen to me". I pulled into a parking lot, got out and walked home. I have reported him to DMV and encourage any one else who noticed any thing weird with Brad to do the same, I have found on line reviews going back to 2012 that show he was doing the same thing. He confessed to a documented mental condition so I suspect he has panic attacks a lot more often but teen students do not have the life experience to tell the difference and think he is legitimately upset with them. The other driving school was booked up with teen classes all summer, I'm trying to get friends to help practice but most likely I get to start a new life in a new no pot state with noting but one suit case because Brad likes to go crazy and smoke pot

I have to add that I see Brad is trying to make up stories that I was the aggressor and he sent a few harassing FB messages when in fact he was the one having the panic attack and acting bizarre. On the first lesson within 3 minutes of getting in the car he is telling me about his PTSD and asking what I thought about medical pot. His story that i was cussing and throwing rocks is complete fiction and in fact a lie. Halfway into the third lesson I told him i do not feel safe and drove close to my home and puled into bank parking lot and walked off. The only thing i said and in a firm but calm voice was do not try and contract me for any reason. I do believe the cars are equipped with a dash cam and voice recorders so if I had been acting as he said he should have showed the recording to the police. But he did not because the recording would have showed that on the second lesson he was hyperventilating and I asked if he was OK and in the third lesson he was having a panic attack. It galls me that he is trying to blame the victim, i payed him $440 for 6 hours I had planed to pay him for 20 or 30 hours what ever was needed. But all I got for my money was one lesson and get to be in the car as he had a mild and sever panic attacks. He will never accept that he is a thief let alone that his mis actions have delayed my life plans for months. I did my part reporting him to DMV and sending a 4 page report to ODOT but they do not seem interested. If i had known i would be trapped in town another year I would have found the other people who;'s online reviews mention his behavior and started a class action lawsuit not for any monetary gain, I do not want one penny back but for the safety of the community . read more
