I went in for my CNA skills test today and everything seemed perfectly fine. I checked in at the…read morefront desk and the instructor seemed nice at first. I was waiting in the designated waiting area and over heard the instructor bitching about a student who was not there yet. Apparently the student was running a couple minutes late due to the really bad weather. Once the student arrived I heated the instructor being extremely rude to the student. So, after that ordeal another student in the waiting area decided to leave due to over hearing everything that had just happened. Due to the attitude and energy the instructor displayed it made everyone else extremely nervous and honestly made me have very bad anxiety going into my skills. Once in the skills testing area the instructor was very rude to me as well. I understand everyone has bad days but I hope the instructor realizes that a lot of the students are nervous because they are taking their state skills test and her acting the way she did and treating the students the way she did was unacceptable. Hopefully this place will get a new instructor soon!

I walked around and found one, who did not appear to know anything about his class, and vaguely waved him over to join the other children sitting around. On the third day, I discovered that the children were at the center for only the first 2 hours each afternoon, then taken to a park and left, apparently unsupervised, for the remaining hour. While there, my grandson was bullied, including being physically hit below the belt. After this, he refused to return. I paid $180 for this opportunity for him to learn computer animation, and the result was (possibly) 6 hours of instruction, and his humiliation and physical hurt. Shame on this place for allowing this to happen to children.

They offered another class on another date that I could not attend. I explained why I could not make that and asked for a refund. The owner stated we cannot refund anyone and can only offer a credit. I entered a dispute with Mastercard only to be told they could not reverse the funds. So this company is rather dishonest and deceived folks when you purchase from them Buyer beware.

Getting ready to send my baby girl off to live in the dorms at university, away from home for the…read morefirst time. Lately, she has felt a bit uneasy (as have her parents). Her father and I thoroughly researched the whole pepper spray scene. We all know of people who have their canisters and have simply taken an online or youtube class. That was not thorough enough for us. A 4-hour class was only $100, very well worth it. I got to watch, and my daughter was able to practice and hear of real-life scenarios from an expert who has been in numerous situations. She walked out of there today feeling very empowered. Like me, she may never have to use the spray in her entire life. But she feels that she has been well informed and prepared for so much more than she'd imagined. (She has watched some of the videos and say they don't prepare her as thoroughly as the class did.) We are going back to take the self-defense class together.
