9 years later and I'm still here. I'm sure most of Dr. Beth's clients have been seeing her for as long as I have. I've referred her to friends and her client base is probably mostly referrals. So, if she asks you how'd you hear about her tell her I sent you via my Yelp Review. She'll take good care of you. Dr. Beth is a one-of-a-kind and special provider for me. She isn't a 15-min, see you tomorrow type of provider (think The Joint). She really takes her time to evaluate your needs. Her care can consist of therapeutic ultrasound, myofacial release, electrical muscle stimulation, and more prior to the spinal adjustment. Some of the main reasons I see Dr. Beth are for my forearms and hips. I suffer from tendonitis mostly from working from a computer all day and being a mom of a newborn. My tendonitis can be from the base of my thumb all the way to my upper arm. She uses some ultrasound before working my arms with myofacial release/massage. Most folks would probably pass out from the pain but I would suggest it if you're suffering. She can adjust the pressure if you let her know. When it's allergy season I like to see her weekly. For some magic reason spinal adjustments help with allergies. I've had plantar fasciitis flare up before and she's scraped it for me. Man did that hurt like a mother but the pain is gone. She will make recommendations when necessary (ex: she printed out a few pages of ways to treat tendonitis for me, recommended a podiatrist, etc.) and explains the diagnosis thoroughly. Dr. Beth isn't like any other chiropractor I have had. She knows that traditional medical treatment may be more effective for certain conditions, and won't hesitate to recommend treatments or tests that she can't do, and she will work with your doctor to give you the most effective treatment if needed. For example, when she found out I had a chronic discomfort in my upper back, she had me go out and get an MRI - which revealed a bulging disk that I never knew about. No other chiropractor ever diagnosed this. X-rays never revealed this. She modified her treatment based on that MRI. Dr Beth is currently doing physiotherapy for tendonitis and other repetitive-stress problems in my wrists. She has all the right ultrasound and other equipments required for this treatment. But what I really like about Dr Beth is that, unlike other chiropractors, she gives you her exclusive undivided attention for the full duration of your treatment, even if it's a whole hour. She doesn't see multiple patients simultaneously. She doesn't have assistants treat you (she has none). I've been going to a chiro since the beginning of time. I thought it was a click here, a click there and you're out...in 1 minute flat! That was until I started seeing Dr. Beth in 2007. She operates totally differently from any other chiro I've seen! 1) you're the only there. There's no line of others waiting for their one minute of attention. 2) she talks with you. 3) she does ultrasound, massage, muscle stim and then she adjusts you. (Mind you, it's been way more than 1 minute!) And if the manual attention is not enough, during your session, there's music in the background and a warm blanket around your legs. I find this and her step-by-step process relaxes me so that the adjustment itself is not so wrenching. I know my visits are out of a medical necessity but I feel refreshed. Dr. Beth is does wonderful work. These sessions are about an hour long - none of that ten minute be one your way stuff. It's always nice to get adjusted, but when the muscles holding your vertebrae in place aren't doing their job, well the adjustment doesn't hold. She is especially attentive and legitimately concerned for the well being of her patients, which are qualities that perfectly fit the style of work at this establishment.
