I went to Janelle with a breech baby at 36 week. She is the one who expertise in Webster Technique in that area. My OB has scheduled me an external cephalic version at 37 week, which would be the last straw (painful and has certain kinds of risks). Webster Technique is much more safer and it makes room for the baby for the turning. Understanding my circumstance, Janelle scheduled me quickly, even though she was busy that day. She is warm, kind, and skillful. It happened that she is also an experienced doula. And she gave me a lot of advice on pregnancy and delivery. I went to her twice more before the version. She is kind and nice as always. It is just that my baby is very very stubborn, He did not turn at last, and I had to give up after the two painful versions at hospital with a doctor. Dr. Lerma has been my chiropractor for over a year. I have the typical knowledge worker back/neck/shoulder aches and pains over the years due to being hunched over a computer screen and keyboard/mouse all hours of the day (and night!) and dealing with the stresses of Silicon Valley. I've wanted to address my various aches and pains and I've heard that seeing a chiropractor could help, but I was wary of seeing a chiropractor; getting "adjusted" sounded kind of scary and intimidating.
