Okay, I needed to let everyone know that this chiropractor is awesome. She is so nice and so friendly. When I finally got insurance, I looked up chiropractors due to my back and neck tensing and shooting sharp pains. Based off her reviews, I called to make an appointment and I must say, it was the best decision I ever made. That sounds a little over the top to say it was the best decision I made in my life but it seriously feels that way. My back and neck don't hurt or tense up anymore now that I am getting routine adjustments and started doing exercises she recommended me to do. I also work in an oral surgery office where I am standing all day, and thanks to Dr. Santiago, I can do that with more ease. My life isn't consisted of me being restricted to doing everyday functions because of pain and I give all the credit to Dr. Santiago. I am extremely grateful! read more

Let me start off by saying I never write Yelp reviews but felt in this case is was extremely warranted. I have been seeing Dr. Jaime for about 2 1/2 months or so and I feel so much better. I have had hip problems and lower back problems for years and have seen many chiropractors. Some of who have helped, some not so much. When I moved to Gilroy from San Jose, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a good one. I went onto Yelp and found Dr. Jaime's reviews (all really good) and decided to give her a try. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Perla who is awesome. Very nice and professional. I could smell the essential oils that everyone raved about. I was then greeted by Dr. Jaime and brought into the room. She asked about my history, did some assessments and then started my adjustment. She started by doing soft tissue work with the oils which is heavenly; then adjusted me. After the adjustment, she did ultrasound and stim therapy which is amazing! I walked out of there feeling better than I had in a long time. Every time I've been there since, I have felt better and better no matter what happens to be in pain that day. ( I am very active) Even better, I referred my daughter and got a free 30 min. massage! Now, my whole family goes to Dr. Jaime and we all feel so much better. She genuinely cares about her patients, knows all of them by name, and doesn't just do "standard" adjustments. She tailors them to your need that day. Dr. Santiago is the best chiropractor I've seen, and the staff is very friendly and organized. Staff is very good at working with insurance and getting benefits I didn't even know I had, (like massage included with the visit.) My joint stiffness and back pain have improved to manageable levels and now my teen son also goes on a regular basis to counteract his heavy backpack and sitting crunched behind a desk. Perfect chiropractor for our family. Also love the recent re-model of the office. The space looks great! Only feedback I would give is there are sometimes kids running around in the waiting room which can very noisy. I bring headphones just in case, (and I both have kids and work in a school, so I'm not kid-phobic.) I guess this happens in a family-friendly environment, but there have been a few instances where there have been "littles" on loud electronic devices. Bring headphones people. I really like this place. I'd been going to the same chiropractor for almost two decades but they didn't accept the Kaiser insurance I have. This office does. I have been in so many car accidents and just being stupid as a teen/young adult that I have some wonderful back and neck issues. They are not always there, but when they flare up, I become desperate. I maintain an appointment every two weeks and then come in on an as needed basis during the flare ups. Dr. Santiago is helpful and informative. She is very kind and relatable. And her adjustments are amazing. She warms up your muscles first with a heat pack or warm lamp, then she massages the knots out of the muscles which allows the adjustment to work more effectively. And she usually finishes up my appointments with a tens unit session- which I thoroughly enjoy. Her staff is wonderful and- in the midst of a global pandemic crisis, her office smells so clean and sanitized. Never thought I'd enjoy the smell of rubbing alcohol and sanitizer so much! But I do. I just recently started seeing Dr. Jamie Bones for muscle tension/knots in my upper back due to stress from school and poor posture while working at an office. She is very understanding and takes the time to listen to your needs, issues, etc. At first, I was a bit worried because I didn't have excruciating back pain, but it was uncomfortable. I scheduled an appt as a first time patient, and left work early to drive from Mountain View to Gilroy. I called about 15 minutes out to let them know I would be 5 minutes late due to a traffic accident and that's when they told me that I had canceled my appt, and they no longer had that spot available... I had never canceled it. They maintained that they didn't have it on the calendar. They then said the Dr. was gone, but 3 minutes later stepped away to talk with the Dr. to see if she could stay. Long story short they did not see me, and made me feel that it was my fault because "I canceled" which I never had done. So there I was after leaving work early, driving 1+ hours in really bad traffic, all for nothing because of a error by staff. This is not the way that you want to treat a first time patient. I had a pleasant experience here at GFC. Dr. Bones was extremely helpful and provided excellent service and Therapy to heal my muscle spasm on my lower back. Gabby whose the receptionist there was very helpful in letting me know some complication with my insurance and advised me how to deal with it. In conclusion I would highly recommend GFC and you will be in safe care from Dr. Bones and her staff. GFC has been like family, to me, always squeezing me in when I have an issue, always patient and kind to my young children (they are always with me). Dr. Santiago has treated me before pregnancy during pregnancy and is now treating my children. We knew our baby was extra fussy and appeared to be in pain when you picked her up. Upon the Dr's evaluation it was obvious at 6 weeks she was out of alignment. After two very mild adjustments my baby took a sigh of relief and fell asleep.
