We booked a Sunset Sail, which is a 1.5 hour trip around the bay, and we were glad to be joined by 2 other couples and 1 other pup! (If you're counting, that makes 8 humans and 3 dogs aboard!) You can also book a private trip, which is slightly more expensive of course. Captain Ro and Kaled were a great team and made us feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed. It was a beautiful day to sail (week before Labor Day weekend) and Captain Ro allowed us to climb onto the deck once we killed the engine and were out in the bay. These trips do not guarantee animal sightings but we did see a whole group of seals bobbing their heads out of the water watching us as we sailed on by, which was extremely endearing to see. FYI the crew provides life vests for the pups and you can bring whatever you want to eat/drink aboard to enjoy.

Can't say enough good things. Captain Ro was awesome and had a ton of facts and history to share…read more It couldn't have been a more beautiful day, really peaceful and we even got to see a glimpse of some dolphin fins and seals. We were really trying to find an intimate experience and support a local business... Dog Gone Sailing Charters was the way to go. I recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful day on the water on an awesome vessel.

I came here with my oil painting class to paint the docs, the boats, and the pier. It was a…read morebeautiful day, and I loved admiring the water. Parking wasn't too bad either. The only issue I had though was a HUGE problem for me. I needed to use the lavatories and ended up settling for the closes porta potty. I mean I've been camping, I've been to summer camp. I've seen worse. I mean the bathroom there is called "The Morgue." This was just wrong. No one had done maintenance on this facility, and it was a biohazard. Seriously, the person who is in charge of cleaning the area and maintaining this facility should be fired. I rarely say this, but I'm serious, someone could get very sick from walking into this space and touching anything. This was not ok in the least bit.

I've been coming up to P-town each year since I was a kid and this is a spot I love to visit each time. Before you get to the pier you have a good selection of places to grab a quick bite to eat. The ferry for Boston is at the end of the pier, but there are other spots along the way where you can catch boat or fishing trips. Some cute little shops also dot this pier, I picked up some adorable Cape Cod art prints for my wall. Be sure to look for the bench surrounded by the buoys, it's a nice place to get a photo. The pier is also a nice spot to take photos of the Pilgrim Monument. This is very close to Commercial Street, so it's worth taking 10 minutes to walk down the pier and soak up some New England vibes.

He was very sweet, funny and engaging. we learned about his family history and how the dune tours started, the history of how the dunes came to be, and even about some of the famous people who stayed in the dune shacks. He had books and photographs to show us as he drove us through the most amazing landscape. He was a wealth of knowledge, and very personable. I tend to get a little nervous with off road activities and water, but I felt very comfortable, his skill level of driving in that terrain and his knowledge of the tides, etc made me feel very safe. It was a very chilly night so he took us on a slightly longer ride to the lighthouse so we would end up having a little less time to sit in the freezing cold for the sunset. He even took photos for us. our teenagers enjoyed this tour, and our guide. The sunset was amazing, Rob had chairs for us to use. This is a must do activity if you're visiting, we have already recommended it to several people.

He made the hour-long day tour not just informative but also a lot of fun. Todd's warm personality and great company made the experience worthwhile. One great perk is that you can buy liquor at the storefront and bring it along on the tour. There's a short 10-minute stop where you can take in some stunning views of the dunes, snap lots of photos, and enjoy your drink (quickly--the ten minutes fly by!). If you're in Provincetown, this tour is a must-do, and if you're lucky enough to have Todd as your guide, you're in for a treat! Highly recommend!
