It was nice scenery. Very uncomfortable to sit for 2 hours on a tiny wood bench. Staff was friendly but I got one small bag of chips on board, which they said would be charged to my card I booked the trip with and it was $16.29 . For a small bag of chips! We also tipped them so this is like really being greedy with the food/bar prices. read more

We were lucky enough to get booked for a last minute sunset sailing on the Hindu! She has to be the most beautiful boat sailing out of Key West! The crew was absolutely fabulous safely taking care of their ships duties and providing their passengers with beverages and never ending charcuterie snacks! The sunset in Key West never fails to impress, but on the Hindu, it is 100x better! Thanks for sharing your living museum with us! read more

I am a loyal sailer on the Hindu having sailed with her 10 times. Last week was my first sailing on the refurbished schooner. During the years Hi du was not in Key West I sailed on other boats. No e can compare. Hindu looks new, not 101. As usual the captain and crew provided a smooth sailing on a cool and windy Thursday. Drinks and snacks were plentiful and tasty. This is the schooner you want to sail on. read more

I received a last-minute txt from Kim stating that our original booking was cancelled due to an event and we ended up on the Hindu with Erin and her great crew! Let's just say we lucked out! We had a fantastic time! The crew was professional and the food and drinks were great! The refurbished schooner was fantastic! Erin and her crew navigated the sunset cruise flawlessly. It was so smooth and everyone on the cruise had a great time! Will definitely do this again next time I'm in the Keys!!! read more

We've been on the Hindu before and booked a sunset sail. It turned out Erin was our captain and it was smooth sailing, the crew was attentive and personable. The Hindu is a beautiful schooner and the crew made it a wonderful and relaxing sail. We'll be doing it again. Love Erin and her rockstar crew! GL read more

We have a great time sailing with Hindu team at 3 pm for 1.5 hour . It was peaceful and smooth ride.

Unflappable, cheerful crew, beautiful views, lovely reconstructed historic craft. Appreciated by all in our party, ages 8 to 80. The crew appreciated the necessity of entertaining the youngest sailors with a card game. read more

We had a beautiful day for a sail around the harbor. We visited the seals at Race Point and saw a number of other boats coming in and out of the harbor. It was so picturesque. I can't wait to see the documentary that is being made about the 100-year old schooner, Hindu. read more

We had an exceptional time during our sunset sail on the Hindu. She is a beauty and the owner/captain is a delight. We've had many wonderful experiences in Provincetown and this one ranks at the top of the list. We will definitely return. Highly recommended and very fairly priced Thank you !! read more

The sunset sail on the Cutter Bloodhound was one of the highlights of our trip! Our crew was great; Erin, Cody, and Josh were friendly, funny, and low key (Charlie the dog was a good crew member too). We loved the views of Long Point and Provincetown Harbor. If they could make the capacity maybe 5 people fewer, everyone would have a little more space and be less cramped. Otherwise, it was a lovely experience, and we will definitely do it again. read more

My wife and I enjoyed our sunset cruise recently on the schooner Bloodhound. Friendly crew and nice fellow passengers. Henry

Sadly, as long as the schooner has been in town and so full of history......I did not know about it until recently when the ladies that own the B&B we stay at posted a pic of a sunset cruise on facebook. I made a huge mental note to check it out on my next vacation. It seems very popular so definitely make your reservation as in advance as you can. We went out on the sunset cruise Saturday 9.19.15 and had an amazing time. The view of town and the sunset over the water is indescribable. The crew was very friendly, funny, accommodating, and informative. There is plenty of room on the ship to sit wherever you would like and move around when desired. Even a very loud group of young women having a bachelorette event on our sailing could not ruin it. That is how good the trip was. I think they would have been better off selecting a booze cruise boat for a private charter. I highly recommend this experience. PS- You can bring your own snacks and alcholic drinks onboard. Cruise for sunset lasted about 2 hours. We went out 530-730 due to the time of year. Schooner sails around harbour then out into Cape Cod Bay. We went as far as approaching the start of Race Point before we turned around if my memory serves me correctly. read more

What a DAY!!! When you go to Key West there are certain criteria that needs to be met: Duval St. fun, Hemingway's home, riding bikes, hanging with locals, watching the sunset from Mallory Square, and taking a boat ride or two. We saw the Hindu ports in Provincetown - a place dear to our hearts - so we booked an excursion (Feb. 2016). The sunset sail was a two-hour sail off Key West. We started off meeting the crew and the BEST navi-dog, Finn. Ever see a dog help get ready for departure? It's a fun experience watching Finn run around pulling ropes and helping the crew. The sunsest cruise includes wine and cheese and a whole lot of fun. One of the crew members went out on the bow and hung off the bowsprit to take our picture. It's one of our most treasured moments! Mingling with the crew and other guests definitely added to the trip. We drank, shared stories, played with Finn, watched other sailboats pass by, and took in all the beautiful colors of the Atlantic sunset. Sailing with this crew is a wonderful event - we HIGHLY recommend it! The "Hindu" is under repair (check progress on their Instagram, Facebook or Go-Fund-Me websites) up in Maine so be patient if you want to sail on her! read more

We had a gorgeous sunset cruise on the Hindu while vacationing in Provincetown. There wasn't much wind but we were having so much fun it didn't really matter. The boat is beautiful and the crew is a delight, especially Finn the boat dog. Easy to book online. You can bring your own drinks and snacks on board. A great way to spend a few hours while in town. read more

This was our fourth time sailing on the Hindu! Each year we have a totally pleasant experience with an expert crew (different folks, all adept sailors). The sail around the bay offers beautiful views of the coastline, the lighthouse and P'town. It is a leisurely sail. The crew will invite you to help hoist the sails if you like, but you can just chill out and enjoy the sun, sea and sails. It is a beautiful craft and a very relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. Highly recommend!! read more

This sail trip almost made me drop out of college to become a sailor. Really fun and the crew was entertaining. They also bring their dog on the boat which immediately makes this a 5 star establishment. There are coolers filled with La Croix so you know they boujee like that. read more

Although we selected a somewhat chilly day for sailing, the experience on The Schooner Hindu was lots of fun. The crew was friendly and attentive. The hors d'oeuvres were plentiful, well-prepared, varied and very tasty. Wine and beer was also plentiful and refilled or replaced without hesitation. This experience is especially fun for a group - we were a group of ten along with about 10 additional guests. read more

Our 2 hour sunset sail on the Hindu was a really great experience. So relaxing, so much fun. The crew (Amanda, Jessica and Annabelle (and Finn, too), were all great guides. They were informative, relaxed, friendly and seemed to really love what they do. I would sail with them again in a heartbeat. The Hindu has great history to it and Captain Amanda was happy to oblige with telling her history. When in Provincetown, do the sunset sail on the Hindu with your friends, family and loved ones. It was a great experience for all of us. read more

This is a wonderful time. The crew rocks. The antique boat is one of a kind. Finnigan, then Boat Dog is worth the trip. Beverage choices and appetizers are above and beyond the norm. We sail with them at sunset and sail with them in the morning. We even sail with them out of Provincetown MA in Cape Cod during our summer family vacation. Do yourself a favor and book them today!! read more

This was our first sailing experience. I must say im sold! Very relaxing and fun at the same time. The crew always makes sure your comfortable and refreshed. This is not a arty boat like the Fury. Nice wines and craft beer, artisan cheeses, meats and small batch chocolates. No loud music just the schooner cutting through the waves and the sails blowing in the wind. Was funny as we passed the crowded party boats they took our picture! i guess they enjoyed our restored classic beauty. I cant say enough, but if you want to sail in class with a nice small group of classy people... this is it. If your looking to get hammered and listen to screaming kids, cheap quality booze and loud music then theres plenty of those in key west to choose from. This is a rare gem!! read more

A must do activity if you're on the Cape! We had a glorious afternoon sail with a friendly crew! They even let some volunteers hoist the sails and steer! This is a magnificent wooden schooner that has been meticulously restored and maintained. For more romance choose the sunset sail (unfortunately that trip was already booked up). The views of the coastline, the sound of the wind in the sails and waves slapping the sides makes a perfect Cape Cod memory! read more

Such a great boat and crew! We had a lovely evening and can't wait to be back! So worth the trip! Crew was kind and explained everything about the boat to our inquisitive 4 year old and even let us help raise the sails and steer the ship! Had a wonderful Sunday Bloody Mary cruise in Key West. It was nice to be with a smaller group and actually sail. Lots of the boats put up a sail but only use the engine. Sunday morning is a nice time to go out as there aren't lots of other ships out like there is at sunset. The crew was. fun and well informed. I feel as if we got a good value even though it is pricier than some of the other ships. read more

Great evening. Awesome crew - friendly and fun. Beautiful sail into the sunset. Served delicious cheeses, sausages, and wine; though there were a lot of drinks to choose from. I'd definitely do it again. read more

Spontaneous trip on a lazy day. My boyfriend and I saw Holden, the captain's assistant, sitting out front cleaning a buoy and comment that he looked like a blond Jack Sparrow, which lead to us admiring the schooner, Hindu. We called a book a late afternoon trip. The captain was entertaining and engaging and the crew, which including a female (Go, Chelsea!), were the quick and efficient. The trip was a bit shorter than expected but completely worthwhile. read more

We loved sailing on the Hindu. The crew was outstanding and friendly. They really added to a memorable experience. Thank you.

Great afternoon trip on the Schooner Hindu out of P-Town. The schooner was a staple in P-Town for years before and is back again. The Captain and crew were fantastic. We even brought our dog along. Had a great time would highly recommend it if you are in the area and looking for something fun and different. read more

The experience on the sunset cruise was fabulous. Being on a ship that is 91 years old is a thrill in itself but getting to really experience a sail from almost anywhere in the ship was exciting. The crew was great and took the time to sit and explain what was taking place and anything and everything about the Hindu. I have taken many sailboat cruises and the Hindu experience was the best by far. Highly recommend this cruise to all. read more
