Just purchased the happy family. It was 75% broccoli, two scallops, two hard pieces of pork. Very disappointed. Woman was like a car salesmen communicating with patrons. No air conditioning and very hot. When I asked them if they had AC in their house they said of course. I said why wouldn't you turn it on for your customers to pay a lot. First impression when I walked in was not promising.it was 12:30 and the place was empty on a Saturday afternoon. The buffet did not have anything it that wanted me to try. I ordered Togo and had a small communication barrier with given my order. My order took about 20 + minutes to come out and orders that were put in after mine came out first. So when I got my home I found out that part of my order was wrong .. it was not a major mistake. . But we dealt with it. Flavor of everything was the next issue. Everything was average or less. there's not much business but the food is horrible, was left sitting out for like 5 hours, it was just extremely not kept up with. and the icecream scoop was sitting in disgusting dirty water for you to take out and use in the icecream. this is so foul. read more

Food was really good. The hospitality of the people that handled the takeout wasn't just unfriendly -- they seemingly went out of their way to be unfriendly. It's a culture thing. I've been to China over 20 times -- people there are friendly. These folks went out of their way to be rude, and they had no idea how rude they were. read more

Did take out here while traveling. This is about as good as you are going to find in PA outside of Philly or Pittsburgh. Lots of fresh ingredients. Very solid Chicken with Garlic Sauce and Hot and Sour Soup. Very solid and safe process for ordering and take out. read more

This is my all time favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is great at a decent price. The waitress is so nice and remembers what you like to drink. Best service I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for this restaurant. Our family just went here for the first time tonight and it was terrible! The food was not good, and the buffet was certainly not worth the $10.99 we paid for it - Not to mention we were seated by someone that looked to be about 10 years old and didn't get a menu. We used to love the buffet here and ordered carry out alot as well. Last time we ordered carryout there was a dead roach smashed against the inside of the box of pork fried rice and a hair in the chicken lo mein. Ewww. Please think again before ordering food from here. read more

This restaurant was one of my family's favorites for many years. The buffet was outstanding and the owner took great pride in always having it perfect. The service was friendly and the owners knew many of the patrons on a first name basis. A few years ago, the restaurant was sold and the quality of the food seems to have declined. Went here last night with a group of friends, and I can honestly say that it was hands down the worst Chinese food I've had in my entire life. Bland, flavorless, and some of the food wasn't even hot. Do yourself a favor and go to Forbidden City instead, right next to the mall. Their food is always on-point. read more

Don't Eat Here!!! I used to eat here often, it used to be good. It has been awhile since I was here, and things have changed. I ordered shrimp fried rice and 2 egg rolls. The egg rolls were not burnt but tasted burnt inside!!! As though something had been burnt in the frier and the oil was giving everything a burnt taste the shrimp in the rice had a terrible texture, so I picked them out and suffered through the rice. The food was very poor. The buffet didn't look very good so I ordered from the menu. I ordered Beef Fu Yung, beef fried rice and shrimp toast. The shrimp toast was cold inside so a fresh one was made. There was no shrimp in it. I've had a lot better. The beef fu Yung had little beef in it and wasn't made with real eggs. The sauce wasn't good either for it. The fried rice had huge peices of beef and not all of the beef was cooked well. I was very taken aback That the owners would serve food like that. I wouldn't serve it to my pet. The service was very good and it was clean there, but I wouldn't recommend it at all. I will definitely not be returning. read more

This is a good basic Chinese-american restaurant. Have been amazing, just good Asian food. All your basic favorites. The staff is helpful and fast .we went there close to closing time but they still made more items for us for the buffet. read more

Best wok is my favorite place to order carry out. They cook it how you want it, and they always get it right. The buffet isn't as great, but carry out is always perfect. Very nice family owned business. read more

Whenever I am in Hanover, this is my go to place to grab a bite. I always get the buffet. They have a nice variety and a few items that I really like and haven't found anywhere else. The staff is friendly and I always feel welcome, even though I am usually by myself. I tried the new buffet in town once, they had more choices, but the food wasn't nearly as tasty as Best Wok. read more

We have been there several times. The food has always been good. I am a vegetable eater and my friend goes for the meats, and we both find plenty to eat. We always do the buffet which has a nice selection of things to eat. We have been to other buffets where they have more items but those places tend not to keep everything fresh like the Best Wok does. Highly recommended ! Very reasonable prices too. read more

This honestly used to be one of my family's favorite restaurants to order food from and go to. The owners were always so kind and the food was good quality. But since a few years back, when they switched owners and management and crew, everything has changed. The food is a solid 3/10 at best, the buffet is kind of disgusting, cold, and a bit unsanitary, and over all it is just not the same. Highly recommend trying different services in the area before this one now. read more
