I will be direct and straight to the point: China One overcharges their customers even if cash is used for carry out. China One warns at the register on a small piece of paper that an extra 50 cents will be added for credit card transactions, but I guess they just decided to add this charge to every transaction type without any verbal warning. They did not even ask first if I would be paying with cash or credit card. The Pennsylvania state sales taxable rate is 6.00%. This 6.00% tax applies to Hanover as well. China One added an extra 4.16% charge to my order. When I had mentioned the extra 53 cent discrepancy to the person at the register they just ignored what I was saying and I moved on. I did not have the willpower to escalate. Breakdown: My subtotal: $12.70 Total with PA 6% sales tax: $13.46 (this should have been the total) Arbitrary "China One" fee: $0.53 Total: $13.99 This is the second time this happened where I used cash for carryout and was overcharged, so I believe this review is fair. 53 cents may not seem like much to some people, but it is the principle. This to me is consistent and deceptive actions by the business on two separate occasions. My advice to everyone going here and using cash for carryout or dine in is to please make sure you will not be overcharged. If you are, call them out on it. If there is a misunderstanding here please let me know, I will be happy to update this review, but I will not be returning to this establishment. Stick to going to Hong Kong Seafood restaurant in South Hanover. Hong Kong Seafood even gives a discount for using cash and have great pride in keeping their customers happy. read more

Good Chinese food. Egg rolls are the best. House lo-main and chicken sticks are really good. Crab ragoons and wontons are to die for. Orange chicken use to be my favorite there but they now make it way too spicy so for that I give this only four stars. Compared to "China wall" which is also in Hanover I say China one has the better food. China one makes really good fried rice and lo-main and they give good portions for there prices. I totally recommend this place for Chinese food if your in Hanover PA. read more

Horrible Customer Service. Rude people. Hung up on me after leaving out part of my order. Will not give me a credit for it. I will NEVER order from them again. Horrible people. I have ordered food several times on-line. I am sent a receipt via email. The total on the email receipts are always lower than the credit card receipts by approximately $2.00. This time I told the driver about the discrepancy and gave him a copy of my email receipt to bring back to the restaurant. food was definitely below average....very sweet when we didn't order sweet dishes. We ordered a seafood dish and it had only 2-3 shrimp, unrecognizable scallops and mostly chicken and beef. The beef and broccoli dish was just ok. Chow mein was also just okay. We ordered takeout and they forgot to include our egg rolls but still charged us for them. We ordered enough to qualify for a few order of crab and cream cheese wontons... Although there was no crab in them. All of us agreed we would never order from here again. Wow.. RUDE! Terrible customer service. We have ordered delivery several times, always taking over an hour to arrive (which also means cold food). Upon arrival, a rude, phone-occupied man hands over the food with not even a greeting. Tonight, we ordered delivery and called after waiting for 1.5 hours, only to be told that they "are too busy to deliver to us"! THEN she LIED and said that she called us to inform us. When I told her that I received no phone call, she apologized for not calling us. WHAT?! We cancelled our order and will not be ordering from China One again. Ever. read more
