This hotel was convenient to where I was going and relatively inexpensive, not much else was good. The lobby was torn up and the pool "Under construction " which was a bummer because I was counting on a swim, the hotel never advised me about this. This Best Western lives up to our expectations for a night lodging. The lobby was clean and inviting with friendly front desk staff both at check in and check out. The room was also clean, but the alarm went off early ( we didn't set the alarm) and we needed to electrical engineers to get the TV to pull up any TV channels. The one 5 star part of our stay was the breakfast. The selection was nice and the attendant keep everything stock and all surfaces clean. We would stay here again, it is use frustrating to have clock and TV problems so often. read more

Best Western is my go to hotel. Its consistently good and an overall great value. Unfortunately, this one was the exception. The first room I was without AC as they have some maintenance issues. I called the front desk and they promptly moved me, but had full intentions of putting someone else in the room. The new room I was moved to had an odor to it. I dealt with it and opened the window when I could at night. I happened to pull the cushion off the corner chair and found it to be full of old food. Possibly the smell. The toilet continues to run non stop unless you giggle the handle after a flush. Housekeeping never came by the room. I had to ask for new towels mid week. The pool and hot tub are closed for renovations but did not appear to have any on going work. I chose to stay in the Yellowstone crossing location because it was 20 minutes closer to the town I was working in and slightly cheaper. If I had to do it again, I would just stay in Billings. Amazing staff, the room they put us in didn't have AC and we had three large dogs so the room got hot very easy. Once brought to their attention they immediately gave us a new room and even upgraded us to a suite. read more

This is the worst best Western ever. We stayed 4days had to ask for maid services everyday, left all the dirty towels for 4 days. Never changed the sheets . I guess you only get coffee in room for one person.. You ever try to eat a waffle with a plastic spoon we did it sucks. Hot tub what a joke the water in the room was hotter. If there were a -1 star I would rate it that. This facility does not tell you there is no maid service period!!! The desk staff are rude and spend most of their time outside smoking cigarettes. I had to beg for clean towels. Your garbage is not emptied - they expect you to do that. If you need anything in the evening the sign tells you to press the buzzer at the front desk. I pressed the buzzer every five minutes for 45 minutes while periodically yelling "is anybody here?" After 45 min a young woman emerges and goes "have you been waiting long?" I tell her 45 min. She gives me a blank look. I had the cheapest room the last week of September for four nights and my bill was $686. Do not stay here. read more

The room wasn't that clean and looked like they breezed through it fast and there was still hair in the tub. Arrived late to a very efficient and friendly front desk clerk which helped the relaxation begin. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Shower and everything worked great. Used the guest laundry, buck to wash and buck to dry-one time and done, nice. Didn't hit the pool but it was clean, warm and looked really enticing. Breakfast was average hotel fair, cereal, scrambled eggs, fruit, juices and so on. Only complaint was I used a different card at check in than it was reserved on-they ended up charging both! I will say one phone call and they corrected it right away but otherwise it was very nice stay for the price. Not much food around (fast food) but close to freeway and gas. read more

Not sure how the accommodations are as we weren't able to get into our room on time. Not able to check in on time to meet a later obligation and ended up having to leave because they were still cleaning rooms at 430pm. Front desk kept telling everyone 20-30 minutes after all of us waited over an hour. Hotel refused to refund us. Apparently its our fault when the business cant operate by their own policy. Ill spend more time on the phone trying to get refunded for a stay we never had. Poor customer service. Not recommended. read more

This was a nice hotel, Nikki was awesome and so kind. It always makes a difference if there nice to you when you walk in and she was. My kids loved that Nikki left 2 notes in our and a little drawing! That they want to keep and put on their bulletin board! They also loved the little teddy bear towel she made and left on the bed! Thanks Nikki, your amazing! Hotel was clean and so was my room my dog loves sniffing around rooms but the room was so clean he only sat by the door and tried to sniff out it! This hotel seemed okay from the outside and lobby but it's obvious the cleaning crew could care less about the quality of work. We found trash and a pacifier on the floor, fruit sticker on the wall and random hair in the sink. Half the outlets don't work, AC appears possessed by an angry dead oilfield worker, and the alarm clock has no power cord. I don't recommend staying here. read more

We had a late check in. The customer service was sub par at best. Getting up to my room, it was scorching hot. I set the thermostat to 55° on high and cool. 2 hours later, still scorching hot. We have been coming to this hotel for about 18 years , usually during Easter. We had a great 2 night stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean, AC was quiet and and very welcomed. I was glad to see options for less carb diet. ( sausage and boiled eggs). Saturday the breakfast had a waffle maker which the kids truly enjoyed. Everybody was friendly. My favorite was the hot tub ( was nice and hot) and the pool ( cool but great for swimming). We had a great time. See you next year! read more

This is a great hotel! We drove 16 hours and were relieved to wind down in a nice, comfortable room. Flat screen TV, hot shower with good water pressure, and the room was nicely climate controlled. The beds are pretty firm and I found the sheets to be really scratchy. They could use to add some fabric softener to their laundry! They have a lot of extras, like natural shampoo and body wash in the shower, makeup removing wipes, etc. And so many towels! I hate it when a hotel gives you like 2 towels- that's not enough towels. There were at least 10 towels of varying shapes and sizes. Very exciting. Friendly staff and huge breakfast in the morning- starts at 5am! They have a pool and spa, but I didn't have time to use it. This was actually a pretty good hotel for travelers/businessmen going through the Billings area. If off of the main city, which i like due to noise and just the annoyances of larger cities like Billings. The trains near by were a bit noisy in the morning [the hotel is next to a lumber yard and a oil refinery] but all and all it was a nice hotel. The continental breakfast was actually pretty good. It lasted until 10 or 11 [they told us at check in], which is pretty late for a hotel. Parking lot is nice and brightly lit, rooms are clean and the cable service is the usual for a hotel. We stopped at this hotel a couple of weeks ago while traveling through the area. Having reviewed the prior reviews, we decided to a make reservations here. The hotel itself is ok. The room was comfortable but the maid had gone crazy with some sort of spray such as Febreze to eliminate odors. It was so strong in the hallway by our room and in our room that I had to open the window and our room door for more than 2 hours and it was in the 20s! When I went to the front desk to complain, their reply was that sometimes their guests have body odors. Really! When I asked to be moved to a different room, of course they were "sold out" although their parking lot was empty. My wife who suffers from asthma suffered an attack! Having stayed at many Best Western hotels throughout the world, we know we will never return to this property. read more

Came here with 4 of my siblings for just one night. The place was very clean, however the lady at the front desk was absolutely rude and I was amazed that she could pass to work there. When she came out of the office, she gave us the dirtiest look right off the bat. We were patiently waiting and overall excited to be staying here. Plus, we were all wearing masks, even the younger kids. My sister had made the reservation and the lady was so disgustingly rude to her. I cannot believe it is okay to give this kind of service and get away with it. She was very impatient and I hope she was just having a bad day. Blonde, short haired lady. Completely rude to my husband as well when he showed up later in the day. All together, an extremely disappointing experience. Will never stay here again. Sad. read more

I stayed at this hotel, or should I say slept in my car in the parking lot, on July 7th. The AC was out in the entire hotel. I wasn't told this at check in. After entering my sweltering room I went down to the desk to complain. They played dumn and said oh well I'll text my maintenance guy. About 1 AM I couldn't stand it anymore and slept in my car with the AC on. Here is a news flash, when you have a hotel full of guests on a hot summer night, you don't "text your guy", you call an HVAC contractor to fix it immediately. Every guest in the hotel was irate in the morning. They refused to give refunds. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel. Thanks Best Western for sending me into dangerous mountain passes on little to no sleep! Also this hotel is across the street from an oil refinery and also next to the train tracks so don't plan on opening your window unless you like the smell of refined petroleum and train whistles. read more

We were stranded with a broke down vehicle while traveling home to Idaho and had no way to get to the hotel. The front clerk made arrangements to pick us up personally and help us get to the hotel! We were looking for a hotel to spend the night during our cross-country trip. We stopped at Billings, MT and were not lucky at finding a room or parking for our truck. We kept driving and came upon this hotel. We were happily accommodate by Dawn, and our stay was great. The rate was pretty good for the room we were given last minute (king suite), and it included a continental breakfast that was ok for the type of hotel. Overall, this was a great place to stay. The room and bathroom were very clean, and everything outside of the room looked great. We had a good nights sleep an the staff were great! read more

Excellent Hotel and I give it 5 stars as a 3 star Hotel. Pool, excellent breakfast, clean. McDonalds next door. Hot tub. Free wifi. Not sure if it had a in room safe. A newer Hotel as well. There are less expensive options in the Billing area but the rate is lower here for the three Best Westerns in the area because it is 15 minutes from Billings but it is right off of I-90 so that is no big deal. WE paid $68 a night for one adult two children. About as good as it gets in the Billings area I think! read more

I found Krista and the woman who works in evening at the desk to be more than cordial and helpful. I had been to other Best Western Hotels and did not go back but this experience has me definitely coming back to Best Western when possible. This fairly new motel is located ten miles west of Billings. We had some hesitation when we first saw it because it is located next to a lumber mill and just a few blocks from a large oil refinery. However, we spent a quiet night in one of the best, cleanest Best Westerns we've seen. Instead of the usual noisy, blowy, wall-mounted HVAC machine there was a quiet central HVAC system that did not transmit any stink from the smokers, who were isolated on the third floor. In addition, there was plenty of storage, an easy chair, a floor lamp, a table and chest, two table lamps, two nightstands, and two wall-mounted bed lamps (mounted too high) above the Queen bed -- yet the room was not crowded. The bath counter was too low but spacious enough to be minimally adequate for two adults after the usual hotel junk was removed. The mirror light was just adequate. We found no TV channel key in the room. These caveats aside, the room had only one serious fault: the window curtain just covered the window; consequently, around the edges, it leaked light into the room from the parking lot, which was brightly lighted at night.
