We started off our Tour de France in Nice. Little did I realize that our first weekend was also the weekend of the Monaco Grand Prix. We were lucky enough to snag a room here as many of the hotels in Nice were booked up.
The hotel is a block off the Jean Medecin, one of the main drags of Nice. It's nice to not be in the hustle hustle yet close to everything as well. The hotel is also very close to the Nice rail station.
The hotel is decorated in a contemporary modern fashion. If you have lots of luggage, beware as the elevator is quite tiny. If fits one and their luggage comfortably!
Our room was equally cozy. It can get cramped with two. The room was big enough for a queen sized bed, a desk, and a small bench. There was an armoire for clothes, though it was a bit small for our two large suitcases. The bathroom was also a bit tight. There wasn't much counter space and the toilet was right up against the wall. The shower was fine and had shampoo and conditioner dispensers.
Overall, I would stay here again. It is nice enough and has the amenities of a worldwide chain. The location is ideal as well. read more
