My clothes were actually held up for a month at the cleaners due to the damage from the bombing. They are a family owned and operated business and the people are great. In the 26 or so years I've used them they have only lost maybe two items and one shirt was damaged. They refunded me the price of the damaged or lost items. Before using Fashion Cleaners my clothes always smelled like cleaning fluid, but this has never been the case here. They've always done a great job on everything I've had cleaned, and they've never ruined a suit or jacket. They also send out leather for cleaning and they did an outstanding job cleaning my old bomber jacket. They will do repairs and alterations too, and if a button breaks or is missing they will repair it for you. Granted, they don't give you a ticket and it really sucks that they don't take credit or debit cards, but it's amazing how they keep track of all your stuff and don't lose it. It would really be nice if they started accepting cards for payment. Once, I didn't have enough cash on me and as luck would have it, I had used up my last check - so I had to walk about 2 blocks from the cleaners and use an ATM so I could get cash for my clothes! All said though, no place is perfect 100% of the time but these folks do one hell of a good job trying!

He was really nice and super professional. He gave me the lowdown on how the process works and the plan was for me to pick up my wash and fold clothes on April 7. When I left, I had such good feelings that I was going to give this place five stars however, I didn't realize my experience would be completely different when I picked up my clothes. I was behind a customer and I realize it's quitting time and may be a little busy but the woman who looked like she was in charge was completely rude. My clothes were ready and in bags but I couldn't see my laundry bag and I asked about it. She totally ignored me and talked to her employee about me and in front of me. I asked her what the proper procedure was and she ignored me again. I kept trying to converse with her but again she ignored me???? I took a shower that morning and I'm generally pretty smiley sooo idk what her issue was! When it's my turn for laundry services, I will try them one more time and I hope I am changing this rating to five stars next time

It was the night before my birthday and yes, unfortunately I was in there after closing time, however, I arrived with plenty of time to both wash and FULLY dry my family's clothes. See, I had to wait for a washer that actually functioned. That put timing back a bit. Well, when I get my clothes out of the dryer they were not completely dry. He stood there making fun of me and pressuring me to hurry up, hurry up, you still aren't going fast enough. I was sorting through what was dry and what didn't get dry to try to put things back in the dryer. He told me to "get my stuff and get out ". It was still pretty wet so I ended up having to go to another laundry facility once I found one that was open. So I was late for everything because of him and was still in a laundry mat drying clothes when midnight struck and it was my birthday. Not how I wanted to start it out. No one working at ANY BUSINESS has ever been as rude to me as he was and he's either the owner or the manager. He told me he didn't own it, but I'm pretty sure he does. I've seen his whole family up there before. As a side note, it is FAR from totally clean. The washers were pretty smelly and it's all torn up in there. And not just temporary construction kind of messy. It's looked like this for quite a while now. He shouldn't even deal with the public with an attitude like that. He made me so upset I cried a little and had to go vent to friends.

Need a double washing because of stains? No problem, he does it! Need a last minute pickup? Text him. If at all possible, he will accommodate you. I have had great experiences with this business. My apartment's facilities are coin operated anyway, and Press is only a little more expensive -- and SO worth it! All I have to do is set my Press bag outside my door and it gets picked up and dropped off at the time I choose. I am a much happier person because of Press.
