I've seen the word 'Thai' used in restaurants naming such as TongueThai'd or AppaThaiZing none of which interest me, nor draw me closer nor strike the hunger chord as if to feel immediately following viewing such a name "man, I'm really glad I saw that sigh - as I'm magically transported on to the Thai food desires express train". Nope, it just doesn't have that effect on me - and, on top of that - I fail to see the humor of the hurt and manipulation inflicted upon innocent letters by discombobulating them in such a infantile manner. Also lurking in the dark cellars of bad names are the likes of Best & Super and Excellent - this strange place calls themselves Best - which ain't saying much when your the Only Thai in town - it says nothing - or am I missing something? --- The phone gets passed off to another woman who seemed friendly enough - she took my order, which was two appetizers and one entree "$33.x" I appreciate getting my total prior to disembarking. Then I drive up to what by all accounts looks like a prototype 70's manufactured home that didn't make it to the production department, which is no indictment against such dwellings, I happen to like them myself - but I did begin to wonder how this transformation went down - it's a residential type looking thing. -- As I reached for the door handle, there's a sign - and I'm all in on reading signs prior to crossing thresholds and neatly typed in Times New Roman 20 goes on a little blerb explaining their higher food costs and how it's inevitable that the end user (me and you) will see that reflection upon their bill. And I appreciate that, enough so that I said so, something to the effect of "I appreciate your honest and integrity to post such a sign" and she basically ignored me. I tipped a few bucks and removed myself as not a single soul took up table residence and there was something inside that I just didn't like, I can't put my finger on it, but it just wasn't for me - so I took my meal to go. There was a man playing violin in a parking area near by that I heard from a bit of a distance upon pulling the rig out of the off and odd angled parking area. And I went to sit in the sun, listen to his beautiful sounds and eat my Friday night, well earned dinner. Steamed pork dumplings - you'd be better off ordering the frozen 50 pack from Amazon (and I detest Bezos) and have them mailed to your PO Box. Terribly soggy and one of the first signs of the plane about to hit the side of the mountain was, get this, ALL of the little dipping sauces were only filled half way, saving Best Thai under a nickel in total and making the consumer that just dropped a third of a hundred dollars- feel extremely cheated, because I was. Scallion Pancakes - greasy and there was like 7, so that's over a dollar each for a mini overcooked under-scallioned triangles of complete overcooked disaster. I could have used them instead for wood shims, they would have have served me better in that capacity. Lol Mein instead of Pad Thai - perhaps a bad call, but, be that as it may, guess what? Another absolute disgrace - more low grade ingredients, silly cut carrots (frozen) canned baby corn (same ones I used last week trying to catch catfish off the dock - and they refused to nibble it) broccoli that, unless diced into oblivion shouldn't choke you out with it's dry sea spongey yellowish plastic textire. And the noodles totally sucked, no taste and slimy - the feeling in my mouth was that of an earthworm dare in my backyard when I was seven. The chicken was a significant step down from such world class eateries as Subway and whatever other corporate crap hole that know how to reengineer food to that shiny glimmering semi soft food that could second for piping for your new bathroom sink.

Steamed dumplings! Delicious and not too heavy

A friend recommended this location and we were glad we tried it. The food was fresh and light. Did not leave a heavy feeling at all. We had steamed dumplings, scallion pancakes, orange chicken, house fried rice and egg rolls. The steamed dumplings were so delicate, they were simple with light flavors, sauce to dip if you want more flavor. You can share if you want, but I could have easily eaten all of these on my own. The scallion pancakes were some of the best I have had. Even after driving with them for 15 minutes after picking them up, they were still perfectly crispy and chewy. The orange chicken, didn't taste like orange, it was a light sauce vs. the thick "gooey" coating as some places have. I liked how the chicken wasn't covered in thick fried breading. The house fried rice was very good and made to order. The egg rolls, I wasn't able to try because they had shrimp, which was not indicated on the menu. A watch out for sure. My husband enjoyed them. Our friends got the pad thai and if you say more than 1 level of spicy - be warned, it's spicy. He loved it still, just had to pace himself. haha The online ordering process, super easy. More descriptors could be helpful, especially for those with mild to severe allergies. The location super easy to get to and the parking was plenty for take out. It may get hectic around 5-6:30pm. The staff is super nice and very efficient. I would recommend, it's different from typical "fast food" take out and it's supporting a nice small business. I will definitely go back when in town.

I went for the first time last week, and again last night. Really good! Nice service, good portion sizes and fair prices. Conveniently located.

Chicken pad Thai & Thai iced tea

AMAZING Thai restaurant - such kind, welcoming, informative staff & absolutely delicious food every time. Thai iced tea is also so yummy! The inside is decorated nicely, clean & calm. A bit small when they're in their busy hours, but doesn't take away from the experience. Definitely recommend!

Based on the location and the way it looked from outside I went in with super low expectations,. HOWEVER, the service, the overall cleanliness of the place (including the bathroom), the food options and taste and the friendliness and attention from our server definitely earns this place a 5 star ratings. Not only did she give our kiddos special attention, she checked on us multiple times. This is definitely my must-visit place whenever I'm in Brunswick.

My partner ordered the vegetable pho, and I went with the pork wonton soup. We also shared an order of pan-fried dumplings. Everything was comforting and flavorful, and the portions were impressively generous. Even the "small" pho was anything but small, and the wonton soup -- listed as an appetizer -- easily ate like a full bowl on its own. We both ended up with leftovers, especially her. The dumplings were nicely pan-fried with a good balance of crispness and filling, and paired well with the soups. This is the kind of place where you leave full and happy. Service was warm and welcoming -- the owner/server was very sweet, friendly, and helpful, which made the stop feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed. A solid, satisfying spot for a casual meal, especially if you're hungry or planning on leftovers.

The rest of it was just handfuls of the same stuff, and only partially cooked. I dont what these other people who left reviews eat, but ive been to jail and the food is better there.
