My son purchased me a group voucher for Mothers Day and I'm glad I didn't wait too long to use it. I only took away 1 star because it's a small space with mostly curtains and half walls to separate the spaces and when your on the table you can hear ppl checking in and being taken to their space. The door chime makes a sound and then the talking because ppl forget others can hear them and don't whisper. My masseuse Tony was great. I booked a deep tissue massage because I so needed it but boy am I feeling what he worked out. Overall give him 5 stars. And will ask for him for the next time I go. I went there anticipating a wonderful 90 minute experience, but what I got was a low quality massage that left me feeling frustrated. First off, the front desk person was polite and courteous. However, the masseuse was a true disappointment. He used one hand often. Plus, he made a poor attempt at a facial massage which literally consisted of rubbing his whole hand across my forehead, up my cheeks while intermittently squeezing the bridge of my nose. If you've ever had a face massage I doubt you experienced one like this. He was good on the shoulders that's why I gave 2 stars, but after that it literally went downhill. In the mid-section, he applied a lot of pressure, so it was a bit painful but it was on the legs and feet where he was awful. He was playing with my toes and just rubbing my legs back and forth. not once did he ask how I was doing nor did he show any enthusiasm. Great service, warm friendly eager to please! Just what the doctor ordered. Place was clean and nice. First it was deep tissue, she was careful to ask if I was comfortable with her pressure then oil and hot rocks, then neck shoulders and head and last but not least my feet. This was absolutely the best combo massage; it was worth every cent. I highly recommend! The absolute worst massage I've ever gotten. The woman doing my massage was sick and massaging me while WIPING HER NOSE. She literally ripped off a piece of the massage table paper to wipe her nose!!! She was using one hand to massage me and the other to wipe her nose. I never felt so disgusted in my life!! I have a weak immune system and I am now praying that I do not get sick. The only thing the owner had to say was "sorry about that" I can't believe it ! A friend and I booked a couples massage here through Groupon. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. There was a short wait when we arrived, and then we were pointed to the room. Inside the room was a sign that read, 'Undress to your underwear. We do not provide sexual services.' The spa was freezing cold, and the masseuse's hands were equally as cold, if not more. I heard sniffling the entire time. I assumed it was my friend- but it turned out to be her masseuse, who was wiping her nose and continuing the massage for the entire duration of the service. At one point, both of the masseuses' began arguing with one another. During this time, my massage paused. The pressure during the massage was inconsistent. It felt like her entire body weight was being used at certain points and at others, a very light rub. I recommend skipping this location altogether. read more

Dangerous massage. She climbed on the table and put her entire body weight on my spine. She didn't stop when I said ow, or asked her to stop, or yelled. She giggled and hugged my back, then went back to leaning. I had to get off the table to get her hands off me. Walked out after less than 15 minutes. Was better than I expected; no frills but quiet, clean and good technique. Only complaint was that our appt was for 1:15 and they called at 1:00 asking us to come at 2:45. Went over there yesterday (Sun Aug 15th 2021) I went for half an hour foot massage with my wife who wanted a full body one. The place looked clean and friendly, we settled for a half hour treatment. The foot massage seats are located on the front of the store right were the front desk is. So anything that happens there bleeds onto your session, but again, it looked like a quiet Sunday afternoon. A minute into my foot massage, 3:50 pm to be precise a couple shows up. They guy opted to "go for a walk" while leaving his wife deal w the business. She had a reservation for 4 pm for 2 people, which they could not fulfill because there were no staff available, probably because they took us walk-ins. So they were told they had to wait. So the woman starts yelling and complaining about how "She wasn't gonna wait" and keep talking out loud. Again, I'm 4 feet away trying to get a foot massage. Nobody from the staff went to solve her problem or to care about how she was disturbing their current customers (me). While giving me what was probably the worst foot massage I ever had the therapist would look at me and quietly saying "Sorry, sorry!l but still doing nothing to solve the issue, that's when, oh well, I had to intervene. First nicely and coherently. "Could you please stop the clock and take care of this lady scheduling issue so I can have my half hour not having to listen a customer support complaint though out the whole session?" She also tried to keep in as nice as she could for a minute, "well sorry but no one is taking care of my issue here" and she was right about that, cuz the guy working w me would keep saying "sorry, sorry" while the massage is getting lamer and bland by the minute. It is now 4pm 10 min into my foot rub when mister entitled asshole husband came back unaware and ready to get on his table. So the talking increased, im now 15 minutes into my 30 min massage which at that point was un existent so things started to escalate. They couple keeps whining, no one from the stuff gives a shit about them or about me having to listen to them. I asked them to stop talking he yells me not to tell him to shut up, so I reacted. It is now 17 minutes on to my session and Im having an screaming arguments FROM THE MASSAGE CHAIR with this person who is literally picking a fight w me, and I was about to stand up when my wife comes out from her massage. She heard the screaming, had to stop dress up and come out to check what the fuck was going on. The staff does nothing, literally nothing. So they leave while we are both exchanging insults on the open. Staff does nothing. Nothing w the exception of making my massage even more bland while keep saying "sorry sorry". The last 10 minutes as massages goes was totally meh.. but at least was quiet. Waited to the end to see if the stuff would address what just happened by anything make up for the time offer a discount since the situation took almost 20 minutes of the 30 I booked. The only word I've got from the person who worked me was "Tax, ok?" When I show him I was paying with a card. This is unfortunate because the place is well suited for the work. Is clean, but there is nobody there who is capable to solve any kind of customer support issue. As experience goes, it was really awful. read more

If I could give it a zero than I def would! My husband purchased from Groupon in May, 2021 a gift voucher that is to expire now on Sept 3, 2021. I called today to book an appt and the lady said they changed ownership 3 mths ago and Groupon voucher was not honored. Clearly they knew 3 mths ago that there would be new ownership. That is false advertisement (it's known that owners are the same -but change name) and will now have to dispute charge. I don't care how good people claim to say they are-it's unprofessional. Excellent massage at Amy's. I have been several times now and always leave there feeling much than when I came in. They find and work on the tight spots and get things loosened up. The spa is "no frills", but very clean and welcoming. The beds are sturdy and heated. I highly recommend. read more

I have been going to Amy's Sweet Spa every month for ten years and recommend her services without hesitation. The facility is spotless, though it is very simple. Not a 'spa' setting but that was not what I was looking for. I needed a quality service for monthly deep tissue massage and reflexology, an affordable price, and a location close by (I'm in Hastings-on-Hudson). Amy's met all three criteria.
