I have three cats ( 3, 5 and 21 years old) and two golden retreivers ( one is a senior at 13 years old and one is 19 months). I have never boarded and always have had family take care of my animals when away. I usually vacation with my dogs. I cannot recommend BPF enough! On the business side, Carly does a tremendous job - she is responsive, thorough, efficient, and a great communicator. She is always gracious in my last minute trip requests and quickly coordinates coverage and sends detailed confirmation to allow no room for error. On the petsitting side, Lauren has been a godsend! My little guy is high energy, high maintenance, and high anxiety and she handles him amazingly well. She goes above and beyond by giving him extra time and attention and constantly keeps me informed, which allows me to relax while I'm away knowing that he's in such good hands. For the first time in my life I used a professional pet sitting service, initially with a lot of apprehension, but have been completely converted by the above-and- beyond quality of the team at Best Paw First. Two sitters shared twice-a-day duty for about ten days, sending updates morning and night, text and photos (even videos), completely relieving me of the stress and, yes, guilt of having left my cat "home alone." But I think she may even have been a little spoiled by the wonderful care she received: she's even more verbal now that I'm back. The two sitters even came during the nor'easter that recently slammed into my state, and I'm right across the street from the beach. Imagine the dedication! I hired Best Paw First this past October to care for my father's three cats while he was hospitalized and in nursing care, until I could bring the cats to my home. For three months, they cared for the cats like family. They communicated with me every time they visited, including pics. As important, they were flexible with scheduling and accepted online payment. We have two dogs (lab mixes), one is 13.5 years old (Hampton) and our other one is 1.5 years old(Ruba). We were so nervous to leave them for a few days. However, as soon as we had our meet and greet with Carly and Kristen, we felt so much better about leaving our "babies" in their care. They went above and beyond for our pups..and for us. Carly took care of my dog when we were out of town for my daughter's wedding. We had never left our dog alone overnight before so we were nervous about how she would handle it.
