We have had many schedule changes with our work schedule and they have been wonderful about getting someone (or even the owner herself) out to take care of our Buddy. Our little 18.5 year old Scruffles has some difficulty seeing and hearing now and over the years, she's had some traumatic grooming experiences (cowering, shaking when I went to pick her up, nails clipped too close to skin, whiskers shaved off!) She generally comes here twice a year-- mostly to get rid of her thick Winter Is Here of a coat. So, when we know we'll be down in this area, we try to schedule an appointment for her in advance. I always joke that getting her a full groom costs more than my hair, but as far as groomers go, they are reasonably priced. Her fur comes out clean-shaven and she is always so happy when we come to pick her up. They give her these cute bandanas and it just makes our hearts melt because yes, we lowly humans don't deserve them! Tip: Schedule your full grooming few weeks to a month in advance. For nails, we've lucked out with a few walk-ins but typically, call ahead as over the years, they've gotten quite popular and packed. Scruffles says: Two paws up!

My answer was , she may sometimes not get along w smaller dogs . She immediately said well we dont separate by size . First of all, not what i said and 2nd of all your website CLEARLY reads : "we place in groups by size, age, disposition ". I was just trying to explain that my dog would just really benefit from an evaluation and they can determine and place her where they see fit? It was like she was trying to deter me from coming in and pretty much argumentative. It was bizarre. I then explained that the day care closest to my home does not have cameras which is why I was interested in their day care. She immediately said well we dont have cameras either. I was confused because i just read on their website , verbatim " we have closed circuit video monitoring" . She said well we have very high end clients and there was a lot of theft here so those cameras are for that . I told them their website is very misleading . They could of course care less. Now i understand the terrible reviews here on Yelp . Not surprised. HARD PASS.

They even took him to the vet for us while we were on vacation one time because we found out after dropping him off he had ransacked the garbage, eating who knows what. They even have a pool-haven't tried it yet but will since we have a water dog. The staff is very friendly and seems to really like what they do, are competent, and care about the dogs which is very important to me. I highly recommend Greenleaf for care and socialization of your dog.

On 5/23/2026, I was not pleased with the service I received from this establishment. This was our…read moresecond time bringing our dog here and hoped things would go as smoothly as the first time. My husband and I visited on Friday to prepay and schedule our reservation for the next day. We were informed that the facility opened at 8:00 AM. We arrived at 7:50 AM on Saturday and waited until 8:15 AM, at which point a staff member informed us that the doors do not open until 9:00 AM on Saturdays. He stated that we would need to pay an additional $15 for early admission, which my husband paid. We were told that our dog's rabies medallion was insufficient proof of vaccination, which is something we should have been told the day before. While the staff member suggested our dog could stay in isolation with a waiver, the delay made us late for the wake of my father-in-law. Consequently, our dog had to remain in our car for the duration of the wake and funeral. Thankfully, it was a cool day but I did not want this for my dog. Nor had I planned to go back and forth to check on my dog on such an emotional day. When I called at noon to see if she could still be dropped off and put in isolation, a different staff member informed me this was not permitted. We have been told that we cannot be reimbursed for the daycare and early admission fees and will instead receive a credit. While we acknowledge the missing vaccination documents, we believe the information we presented was misread. We are frustrated that we paid for services we did not receive due to conflicting information from the staff. I emailed a letter stating our grievances to management but did not receive a response. I do not like leaving negative reviews but this situation was not handled properly and I would hate for someone to go through the same situation.
