I had a gift certificate and they would not accept it. The certificate was NOT expired and I was using within the 6 months since it was issued. It also had all 3 Best Nail locations listed directly on the certificate. They stated that they were under different management were not connected to the other locations in anyway anymore. They refused to honor the certificate in any way. This was extremely frustrating to find out after I had received services with using this certificate in mind. There should be a sign on the door or some kind of notice that the certificates issued prior to that management change won't be accepted. This shouldn't be something customers find out upon checkout. I ran in there to get an eyebrow wax. The attendant was so rushed and didn't take her time. She seemed bothered to have to work and get business. And their prices are high. I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews, but I'm simply writing a review to warn everyone! I went and asked for a basic acrylic with white gel polish, nails shaped short and square. The nail tech had accidentally painted few spots on my skin, as well as the underneath of my left thumb nail contained acrylic underneath on my skin (ultimately messing up the nail) along another missed paint spot as well. Update: noticed 2 things that were different from the last time I went in. 1. I saw the nail tech re use her gloves she used for me with another client. I was shocked to see that latex gloves are being reused since they're made for one time use only and get weird on the inside with sweat. 2. Without my consent or asking me if I had an alternative payment method, they charged me a "service fee" that they charge credit cards. So just be prepared for that. I would have been okay if I was informed about it. There are no signs that inform about the charge, their brochures don't have it or the paper they use to write services don't have it on there either. I would recommend having a signage that informs clients about the charge. Overall, still content with the service. I would just ask the technician to change her gloves in front of me next time. Hate to be that person, but I'd rather say something than get a fungal infection. read more

I am super picky about my nails, which is why I don't get them done often. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt... I went all out, pedicure and full set. The pedicure was fine, nothing extraordinary. My full set however was very VERY rushed. He didn't even push my cuticles down or anything. He left the acrylic funk under my nail and drove me crazy. The acrylic was not smooth and they started falling off only 3 days later. I have no idea why all of my friends recommended this place. That was the entire reason I came here, too. The nails got caught on everything and started lifting at the bottom. That, and he painted my design upside down. I guess I just have had luck with nail salons... They did work us in fairly quickly, but we sat nowhere near each other--despite me explicitly saying we were there as a group and we wanted to sit together so we could chat. I got some excuse about "technicians get the next highest ticket"--yes, I give zero craps about how you assign clients to technicians--I'm here for a spa treat with my friends, and if I have to yell at them to speak, it's not much of a girls day out treat. You'd think a SALON would understand that!!! We asked for basic designs and were treated like we asked them to paint Picassos. One technician refused to do the simple design I showed her, and indeed told me the picture I showed her was "artificial nails", which was laugh out loud funny because it was CLEARLY a simple design someone painted onto actual nails. So the expert is a liar or thinks I'm stupid. In the end, they didn't do what I showed them, and both mine and my daughters nails looked like a kindergartener did them--I had polish all outside my nail bed, no attempt to remove the messiness. This was me giving them one last shot after the last time I was there the technician talked VERY LOUDLY on her phone, in another language, the entire time she did my nails. And when I checked out, the male attendant asked how it was, I said "eh, could have been better" and he just smiled and nodded, giving no concern to my comment. The WORST and rudest nail salon I have ever been to. I got an acrylic set, but she didn't even the nails out and clean off the excess on the back of the nail and made them so thin they will probably break off within a few days. She also didn't make them the color I asked for, and when I went back to have it fixed she looked at my nails and then turned around and walked away from me. Didn't say a word. The other lady said I would have to wait an hour. I couldn't wait so I made an appt for the next day at 9AM, they called to change it to 9:30. When I arrived there was no one at the front, but there were 3 technicians that did not have a customer. Only 1 customer in the place. And all of the ignored me, looked at me when I tried asking for help shook their head and looked back down at their phone ignoring me. I waited 15 minutes before walking out. It was very obvious they were ignoring me on purpose, and the girl who was supposed to fix them was a no show. On TOP of that, the first day I went in I was with my Mother, and her technician was an older man who reeked of cigarettes, had dirt under his nails and was very rude and rough to her. She had to ask for someone else, and when she did that all of the technicians were shit talking her and giving her bad looks. The Rudest and and most unprofessional nail salon I have ever been to. I came here for months but my last visit- Thursday- was awful. My dip nails manicure was rushed because they had to repair someone else's nails. I didn't even get my nails filed or lotion applied. My nail chipped two days later and I called to see about having it fixed. I was told to come in the next day and no appointment was needed, they would get me right away. I drove 30 minutes to get there and was told it would be at least an hour wait, I should've called first, and that everyone else would go before me. It didn't matter I had a quick repair and what I was told on the phone didn't matter either. The Caucasian guy at the counter is not a help at all and thought I would pay for a less than half job done. This place is terrible. My pedicure was so hot I couldn't soak my feet. If I could have soaked my feet, the lady would haven't allowed me to, given that she started scrapping my feet immediately. I paid for the classic pedi with the gel polish. All she did was scrubbed the bottom and clipped my toenails. The whole pedi took 15 minutes flat. I went in today to get my dip nails removed. I've had dip nails removed regularly for the past year. usually, your nails are placed a warm bowl of acetone then they lightly drill your nails to buff out any residue. Best nails hacked at my nails by digging a fake nail in between the dip polish and my natural nail and fixing the dip to come off. When I told them that this isn't how this is usually done, they completely ignored me and continued their ways. And when the fake nail wasn't working, they started using the cuticle cutter at my natural nails. When I scream ouch, the lady called me a chicken and laughed. Not surprisingly, my left thumb nail got damaged and is hurting. On top of all this, they just cut my nails super square when I requested them to shape my nails a square-round cut. Got the combo mani, pedi with gel manicure and deluxe pedi. They did towel wraps, stone massage, paraffin dip and lotion massage. Overall great spa experience. Only downside was soap operas on TV and music was too much noise and gym next door dropped weights a few times. They did a good job on cuticles which is a must for me. read more

This place was horrible. I'm new to Arkansas and trying to find a regular spot for me to get a pedicure. I decided on best nails because of the distance from my home. When first walking in, the young lady behind the front desk was rude and gave me the impression of "being ready to be done for the day." I was hoping she wouldn't be the one doing my pedicure. I was relieved when she pointed in the direction of someone else. anyways, I decided on the tropical paradise pedicure because the description said "extensive massage". This was the worst pedicure I've ever had in the 20 years of having them. From START To FINISH this pedicure took only 30 minutes at the most. To be completely honest, me sitting in the chair, waiting for my toenails to dry was longer than the actual pedicure. The lady seemed like she was in a rush. Which I could understand, if I arrived closer to closing time. But I'm talking about 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon, with nobody else waiting. I would tell you the technicians name, so you can avoid her, but they apparently do not wear name tags. How about a better suggestion, AVOID THIS PLACE all together!!! read more

A nail tech was obviously not skilled to apply dip powder to my nails. Not only was her hand shaking, but she was hesitant to use a drill. I asked her nicely to let someone else finish my nails. She got upset and said, "I do my best but you're rude. I was in disbelief because my nails looked like a child had painted them. I quietly explained the situation to the manager, and he was not concerned that she was not proficient. I showed him how powder was everywhere and how my nails were oddly shaped. More noticeable was that they were lumpy! The manager supported her behavior and stated that she is usually real good. His resolve was to just take it all off of my nails. I had the powder removed off my nails. I spent an hour getting a bad nail job applied and removed. My time was totally wasted. I will not return to this nail shop. Unsanitary, rushed, and inconsiderate. There is always a wait and even when they sit you down they are rude or rush your nails. They use unsanitary utensils that they use for everyone. Lucky I didn't get an infection. I went here for a couple months and was always charged so much for awful work. Once when I went in the guy doing my nails told me that the shape I wanted would be "ugly" and that I shouldn't do that with my nails. When I persisted that I wanted that shape he threw a tantrum and did my acrylic set in the most rushed and uneven manner. I have also had many instances where they took my acrylic set off for $8 in the most rushed and painful way they possibly could. Very disatisfied and will never go here again. read more

I tried this place twice, just to see if maybe I was wrong the first time; I wasn't. My first experience I was seated for a pedicure and waited in the water for 45 minutes before I was seen- one Mother/daughter couple actually ended up leaving before receiving a pedicure for the same reason. My water had to be refreshed, and when I was finally serviced the pedicure was SUBPAR. Today I tried again in the early afternoon to see if maybe my first experience was bad due to it being a busy time of day. Wrong. I was seated and serviced right away for my pedicure, but again it was awful. Paint left on my skin, I had to point out several missed spots on my toes. I won't be back. read more

So I went into this nail salon they have changed their receptionist or the lady at the front desk! They were so rude to my mom. The lady was on the phone yelling and then when we asked her about the nail colors she was in the hurry to put them back. We were trying to look at moon change colors and wanted to look at what they would change into but she was like "okay you don't want this I put it back" she seemed like she was in a hurry to get rid of us so she can get back to her phone talking to whoever! The technician came to help us out but she would not let him talk. I am very disappointed with that service! This is literally the first review I've ever written...it was that bad. I'll try to make a long story short...it was extremely uncomfortable how they spoke in a different language the WHOLE time I was there and the guy that did my mani and pedi did not speak to me at all. He didn't listen when I said I didn't want the callus remover (acid) on my skin, he cut me several times and I have never felt more rushed during these services at any place I've been. Once he started my "mani" (I asked for tips with dip powder), the feeling of being rushed just escalated. He completely filed way more on the left side of each nail than the right so all of my nails are crooked, he cut my cuticles again after I told him twice what he was doing hurt, and then left blue dip powder all over my cuticles and under my nails. When he was finished he didn't ask what I thought or if I liked them. He told me you're done and told me to go pay at the register. I will never go back. I read the reviews before I tried this nail salon, but with it being so close to my house I thought I would give the benefit of the doubt. I will never go back. I am disappointed in how I was treated and the service I received and am pretty easy to please normally. I hope this review has helped and is obviously just my response to one visit. My technician was an older man, but I did not get his name. I'm sure there are some here that would do a good job I'm just sad that my experience was more than subpar. read more

Sophia does great on my powder dip nails every single time. However every pedicure I've had (while it feels amazing) the actual nail polish lasts a couple days before it's chipping. Last time it didn't even last a full day before it started chipping in multiple places. The clear top coat they use also looks cheap compared to other salons- never smooth. It always looks like I did my toes. BUT- it feels amazing- so if that's really what you're looking for- go for it!! They're all super nice, too. Love the people at Best Nails. read more

I have had several mani-pedis from Best Nails. I have taken care of very well. Enjoyed the massage chairs. I enjoy taking my daughter and her friends! The only downside is when they are busy they seem to rush more and you don't get the full relaxation that you do when they are not busy. Still a great place! read more

While family dropped in on a Saturday afternoon, 3 adults and 2 kids. My boys (6,8) wanted to try it so I agreed. The boys were $30 each and entailed cutting toenails, fingernails and cuticles w/ or w/o clear coat. The boys had nails cut and the lady got up and said ok thank you. No whirlpool, massage, cleaning of nails. Both had the normal grit and grime around and under nails. I asked if they could clean them up at least a little. She said ok but after being silent the entire time, she began talking to the lady next to her while looking at the boys. Maybe completely innocent but uncomfortable at this point. Also, they have started to charge a 3% fee if paying with CC. Overall not happy with the experience and will not go back. read more

This salon is great! When you walk in, they ask you to fill out a sheet with your name and the services you'd like which makes it feel more organized than a typical nail salon. Awful! Service was fine, but multiple of my toes became infected, I expect due to poor care of tools because I take extremely great care of my nails. I saw the lady put the freshly used tools into a sanatized bag (unsanitized or cleaned). Had my toes done over 2 months ago and still dealing with the repercussions. I guess that's what I get for going there while my normal salon was closed. Do not recommend at all. Also they were snobby and rude and the lady kept urging me to add a tip to one of my nails that was shorter than the rest when I repeatedly told her no thank you. read more
