I brought my car here for a second opinion. Jeff (the owner) was very friendly, and personable. After inspecting my vehicle, he told me I DID NOT need a new muffler, I simply needed new hangers and an exhaust pipe. He also said that I DID NOT need to replace ALL of my catalytic converters, just two. He offered suggestions geared to saving me money. The simple fact that I was treated with respect and was not lied to, goes a long way in my book. Very highly recommend coming to see these guys FIRST.

After having my car for 2.5 days, they claimed the sounds couldn't be replicated, then charged me over $100 for a new gas cap and diagnostics that didn't lead to anything getting fixed. As I was pulling out of their lot, the pulley and brakes were squealing, and not only is that still happening a couple weeks later, but the CEL came back on with the same trouble code as before. I didn't even get to keep my old gas cap that apparently didn't need replaced. They threw it away without asking and charged me a $6 "waste disposal" fee. I had bought the converter and two Oxygen sensors about 7 years ago, after talking with the auto shop manager at TCTC, who said he would put me on the list. I had called several times, only to get excuses. I talked to the folks at Rick's Lifetime Muffler, and they told me that they would be glad to do it. I made the appointment, and they installed it, only to find out that I should have bought four oxygen sensors. It was my mistake, so I ordered the other two sensors, and they installed them for me without charging me for my mistake.
