I sadly came across Randy who is hands down a used car salesman. People sitting around the garage sitting around doing nothing, tells you all you need to know. I understand the competitiveness of these shops but truly this place is not trustworthy of anyones time or money. I was told by the woman at the front desk, this location was under new management but even the owner as she pointed out to me as he walked is questionable at best. Under new management doesn't mean necessarily best. Hard pass. You know it's bad when you take time out our day to write a review on such a place. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. I am glad I went to Christian Brothers instead, driving from Round Rock is worth it for a reputable company.

They are very honest about what is or is not needed (spoiler: something your other mechanic told you might not be necessary yet or needed at all). Example: my other place told me that I needed to get rotors replaced (over $1000). This place told me that (1) I could wait until my next oil change in 6000 miles, (2) that they have a machine to resurface rotors instead of replacing them entirely, (3) that it would only cost me about one-third what the other place quoted. They are highly knowledgeable and they are also really good at finding deals. I referred a friend here who needed a part replacing and they called up different car yards to find the part to save her money (of course you can always get the more expensive versions of things too if you want). My friend just really appreciated that they were trying to help her save money. So yeah five out of five. I drive an hour out of my way just to come to these guys here.

I stopped in at Christian Brothers in Leander on Sonny Drive and spoke to Brandon. He text me a written quote, which came out about half of what the other shops were asking. They also give a "Veterans/First responders" discount. Their work was professional, and they communicated with me all the time. They sent a video of a free service inspection of my truck, pointing out any areas of concern. I think I've found my back up mechanic for anything I can't do or just don't want to. I paid for the alignment, and when closing time came around, they handed me my keys and said everything was good to go. I trusted Mike and his team, especially since the tires were brand new and should've been taken into consideration. Before taking it in, I had already replaced the inner and outer tie rods myself, so I knew exactly where everything was set. Two days after the alignment, I noticed my front tires were wearing extremely on the outside. I got under the truck to check, and the adjustment nut and locking pin were in the exact same position as before--pin even bent the same way. It honestly looked like nothing had been touched. I then took it to Brake Check in Round Rock, and they found the toe was extremely off on both sides. They provided a printout showing the before and after adjustments. Another concern was that Mike mentioned I needed additional suspension work that would've cost around $900. Brake Check didn't find any issues, and my truck has been running great since their alignment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
