Joe met with the neighbors who share in the oak's overhang to clean up the debris that happened over the fence. Joe's stump grinder guy showed up the next day without any incident. I am Joe Shishan, sales manager for M&S Tree service and I would like to mention that Diane…read moreGrover's portrayal of events is outright false and spitefully misrepresented in her review here on yelp. While there were indeed disagreements and misunderstandings throughout the project(which could have been handled more cordially by Sam; and we have spoken to him about that) the simple fact of the matter is that our crew was not responsible for the damage that she is claiming to be our fault. The damage that she is referring to was already present prior to the work performed and she only started making false claims about what happened after becoming infuriated that we did not obey her every demand regarding work that we performed on HER NEIGHBORS PROPERTY whom she has an ongoing feud with and had zero authority or decision making power in the matter. So ever since that event she has been harassing our company; leaving several bad reviews on every platform available and even changed her story many times along the way. It almost seems like she was looking for some type of excuse to create a problem with us from the beginning . I have already reprimanded the crew for falling into her argument trap (as we are not interested in perpetuating neighborly fueds and having long drawn out arguments over small details that turn into all out war and social assassination attempts). Although I still can't fathom for the life of me why someone would go so far out of their way just to hurt a small business who only had a minor disagreement and brief exchange of unpleasantries..WE DID NOT DAMAGE HER PROPERTY! So I'm really not sure what her insurance policy is like but I do know that many policies cover accidents but do not cover damage resulting from negligence (which I believe her claim falls under and would mean that her false claim would be financially rewarding to her). Some people are willing to go to any lengths to get a leg up in the world or to get revenge on those who do not bow to them. And for that, I am sorry that none of my crew bowed down to you on that day and I am sorry that your insurance policy didn't cover your claim due to it being classified of negligent inaction. Maybe she saw an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone in this situation, I don't know. But Diane, if you read this, please stop harassing our company and allow us to continue helping our community, supporting our famillies, and adding value to the society that we live in. We have zero interest in continuing this long and drawn out one-sided battle any longer. Please Diane, it would be much appreciated if you could stop this. Thanks, Joe Shishan 407-868-3194

Hogan's installed sod in our front yard on July 23, 2026 while we were returning from vacation in…read morespite of us specifically requesting that it not be installed until July 24th or later. We wanted to be home to make certain that the ground underneath was tilled or scraped and then top soil spread prior to installation of the sod. We paid for upgraded Scott ProVista St. Augustine sod from Duda & Sons. A few weeks later, after noticing that the grass was turning brown in spite of proper watering, someone from Hogan came and lifted the sod in a few locations and told us that the sod was not taking root and was brown on the underside. We have called repeatedly and asked that someone come and explain what they can do to fix the issue. They've promised that a manager would come out (never happened). Technically they have completed all of the tasks listed in their contract, sod follow-up inspection (this is when the inspector told us the sod had not rooted), irrigation management, follow-up visit by spray tech to apply preventive insecticide and nutrients to develop roots but the grass is still yellow/brown/dead after 5 weeks. We have had ample rain and watered repeatedly Additionally, the sod was installed in such a way that we are unable to open our gate and have asked that they fix that as well. Now they are refusing to take and/or return our calls.
