November 2019 we had Best Glass come out to our business to replace 2 large window panes and surrounding frames.  During installation, the owner was not present, and the workers were not working steadily (we have cameras and were checking their progress).  At one point my husband approached them to check the progress, and noticed that the install was very sloppy.  Upon asking the workers about the state of their work, they became defensive, so my husband contacted the owner about our concerns.  The owner was very responsive and came out to check the work.  He agreed that it was not up to standard and stayed to remove the existing work, and help complete the project himself.  We were very happy with the finished product and the owner's commitment to quality. Fast forward just two years, November 2021, one of their window panes had completely split and fractured.  I contacted the company to have them come out to see what may have caused this.  When the workers came out, they could not answer any of my questions nor could they give any reason as to what could have caused the break.  Their response was, 'glass breaks', and that they would be in contact.  A couple days passed and no one called, so I contacted the company.  They said they had no new information for me and that they would have the owner contact me.  A few more days passed and I still did not receive a call.  I called again and spoke with a receptionist, she checked, and quoted me the same price we already paid to fix the one window, and mentioned they had no warranty.  I expressed my concern about the situation, and asked again to have the owner call me. It is now January 2022, and I still have not received a call from the owner or anyone at all from the business about my concerns.  I did not inquire on their warranty (or lack of) for their glass prior to hiring.  Although, this should have been clearly stated as it would have affected our decision to hire.  According to this business, you can hire them, but their product can and will fail for no reason, and they will do nothing to fix it.  As a fellow business owner and customer, I want others to know our experience and the lack of care and communication we've received after having issues with the product.  We must now hire a different company that will stand by their product to fix Best Glass' faulty product. read more

I'm surprised by the treatment we received. This company has amazing reviews, which is why I contacted them. I called and scheduled an appointment for a quote to have my windows re-screened. Two men not in uniform wearing hooded sweatshirts arrived at my house. They measured all my windows and screen door. After they explained this company will charge $60 per hour for labor in addition to the cost for materials to do onsite work and recommend I bring my screens to their business. The next day I got a quote for over $1,000. In the quote the estimate for labor was $800. With an explanation that it's a 7 day wait if I bring my screens to them. I understand repairing screens is not as lucrative as replacing windows. Even though their website says they are experts for repairing and replacing screens, apparently they do not like to. I honestly would have appreciated being told they aren't interested in my business rather than getting a quote that insults my intelligence. The math for the labor estimate breaks down to them expecting to spend over 13 hours (professionally) replacing 13 regular window screens and one patio screen door. Waited over a week for a scheduled appointment for an estimate. Even called them the same day to confirm the 2 hour window appointment time. They still did not show up. When we called a half hour after the appointment time (which meant we were waiting for 2 1/2 hours at this point) to inquire about what was happening, the receptionist was extremely unprofessional and offered no apology for wasting half of our day. She only said that he was running late and he could be there in an hour, well after the scheduled appointment time. Why schedule a window time and not show up or at the minimum call to say you are running behind? Don't let them waste your time. read more

I needed their services to repair windows and had a deadline I needed to meet. I sought a local company, rather than a chain, even though I did not have prior experience purchasing or repairing windows. The staff were courteous on the phone, and understood exactly what I needed and were confident that the job was routine. They sent a uniformed employee out to provide an estimate within two days. The price was very reasonable (under $300 to have two fogged window panes repaired). It took 3-5 days for them to get the glass cut, but the workman who arrived to perform the work was very professional, courteous, and friendly. He cut the glass in his truck, rebuilt the panes, and installed the new glass panes swiftly. He provided additional preventative maintenance on the window to ensure that the seals would not pop again in the future. I would definitely have this company come out again and will consider some of their other services. read more
