These donuts OMG they're like a pillow, fluffy and fresh! If the owner has hot ones available, even better. The glazed and blueberry cake ones are THE BEST. I'm not a filled donut girly and WOW the filled ones are incredible!! For any filled donuts, he freshly pipes the flavor into the donut when you order. Typically he has lemon, strawberry, raspberry, and some other. The lemon, strawberry, and raspberry are definitely my favorite types! I have turned into a filled donut girly only at this place. If you take the donuts home and some harden or seem stale, throw it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and it's the softest and fluffiest pillow donut. The guy who's always there is super friendly and funny. He's always looking out for me and having me try new items. Ironically there's a Dunkin' Donuts right in front of it, but trust me, you won't be disappointed with these donuts. read more

A small local whole in the wall donut shop serving up classics. Looks like it's all made in house and reminds me of donuts shops that I went to as a child. They have mostly classics like glaze, twists and eclairs, which is what I prefer. The donuts are also bigger than the competitors and taste homemade. This place is better than any donut shop I've been to. Their donuts after one day are better than Krispy Kreme fresh. The gentleman there is so kind and helpful. A solid donut place. Really good customer service (very friendly), very reasonable prices, and all the basic items you are probably looking for. I've had better and I've had worse. While not a mind-blowing place to grab donuts, I would suggest it's a better option that the Dunkin a stone's throw away. Any time I see an Apple Fritter on a menu at a donut shop that's one of my items to order and this place has them--and they're solid, good+. My husband and I are visiting Nashville for the weekend. I decided to try local donuts while here, and Best Donuts was 10 minutes away. So off I went at 6:30 to hit this shop and one other (donut overload). It isn't hard to find, but as someone else noted a chain shop has parked themselves bright in front of BD's strip mall location. It's just plain rude. Anyway, I was the only customer at the moment so I wasn't rushed. They had breakfast croissant sandwiches (huge) and kolaches, but I was there for the donuts. I got a fritter, cinnamon roll, red velvet cake, and a cronut. I'm not a big cake donut person, but this one was tender and flavorful without the aftertaste that those donuts sometime have. The cronut was also nice, even though I didn't eat it until the next day. The cinnamon roll was quite tender; my only complaint is that I would have loved a stronger cinnamon taste. The fritter was the winner, apparently. My husband said it was flavorful and had real apples in it, so he was pleased and impressed. It was gone so fast I never got to try it. Husband and I swung by there around 12:30 on a Sunday. Husband is a cake donut lover and I am a yeast donut lover. We got a combination of both abs believe me they did NOT disappoint. The yeast donut had a maple glaze and it was done to perfection. It was home made , he said he makes them fresh every morning and there was no doubt! The glaze was a scrumptious brown sugar maple abs it was the perfect amount. The donut was a good height and it was not processed.
