Faye, the owner, picked up and what a warm and friendly welcome. When I went in she gave me a thorough explanation of what my hair needed and included a deep conditioner as well. it was a little pricer than I had hoped to spend, but like with everything these past couple of years, prices have gone up. she was fast, friendly, and an absolute expert in her field. Hello I want to share my experience for the girlies! So I recently went in for a walk in to get a TRIM... when showing Faye my hair she continued to say how"Burnt" and "Dead" by hair was and was going to overcharge me 130. Not 130 for the trim I wanted but 130 for cutting less than an inch of hair! Last time I came she did the same thing and when confronted about the charge she said she was "Mistaken" and then charged me the normal 45. So her doing this a second time was so unprofessional and to add on the embarrassment I had in front of the customers. Mind y'all I never bleached my hair before! And my "Dead" hair shouldn't affect the price since it's just cutting! I read some comment about Faye and how nice she is and how good she cuts hair. Don't let that fool she was nice to me for a brief moment until asked me to leave after confronting her and catching her try to over charge for something I didn't want. So if u want criticism about your hair that's the place to go.....went to another salon and they explained that 130 was INSANE to ask for also they cut my hair and dye it like FAYE said couldn't be done. read more

If you are looking to spend money on your hair this is not the place to do it at. Ambiance & amenities are just not there and prices are misleading. Advertised is 45/65/85/120/160+. I paid $95 for a V shape "simple cut" because apparently what I wanted is considered a layered cut (you be the judge) I'll attach picture below for reference. Negotiating price is part of a business deal and here I felt humiliated for asking about price beforehand. When I told Faye I wanted a simple cut she grabbed a couple strands of my hair from the back and cut less than a centimeter, patted me on my back and in a super condescending tone said "there a simple cut!!". She then proceeded to snap off my cape and was sending me on my way. I should've just left there, but wanted to see if the talent would outweigh the attitude. I stayed for the cut and was not all that impressed. Honestly for the price save yourself the trouble and go to a more elevated salon. At least anywhere where you will be met with basic respect. If you are looking for a review to help you decide let this be the one! I didn't even want to ask for more requests on my hair because if it's $95 for a simple cut imagine any additional requests! Faye warmed up after, but only because I agreed to paying her price. She was a good conversationalist and the vibe changed after. However first impressions last. I wanted to respect Faye's time in the end for fitting me in last minute and I paid the $95 no fuss and even left a $20 tip. I left happy that my dead hair was gone, but not impressed. read more
