This place is sooo worth it. I had ruined my hair from bleach damage and Faye gave me a great cut and took all the damaged parts off. A lot of salons are so pretentious but this one was down to earth. She even conditioned my hair under the dryer for me and gave me good products to take home. My first experience at Best Cuts was about 5 years ago, back when I embarked on a journey to lighten my hair for the first time. I was so pleased with that first trip that I had to write a review about it. Reading it back now, I have to smile at how far I've come with Best Cuts. Today, I am still a regular. I don't go anywhere else. Best Cuts is where I get my eyelash extensions done, where I get my eyebrows waxed, where my hair gets a deep conditioning, where I begrudgingly get trims, and where I get the most amazing blowouts. Every time, the work is top quality. I have thick, long hair -- most places would seize the chance to overcharge me, but this salon does not. Whether the work takes 30 minutes or 2 hours, they remain patient and meticulous. The owner Faye embodies strength; she is full of knowledge and experience. She runs her shop like the captain of a ship, and ensures everything works smoothly. She listens to her clients and helps them bring their vision to life -- I know this first-hand, considering all the ideas I've brought her over the years. Clients sometimes want to make miracles out of mayhem, and she gently incorporates their wants with their realities. The salon itself is always clean and organized. They did some renovations recently, so the place looks new and modern. Parking can be tricky, but there are a couple of designated spaces for the salon. Weekends are a lot busier than weekdays. I would call 1-2 days ahead to make an appointment, though walk-ins are accepted. Chain salons just can't compare to everything Best Cuts offers. Probably one of the best haircuts of my life, came in to get layers and a general trim, came out exactly as i invisioned it. other places would probably take double or triple as long to do them, but for the quality and speed at which Faye cut my hair, it was genuinely phenomenal. I honestly don't write reviews, but my experience in this salon was not very good. When I walked in I wasn't even greeted, Faye told me in a rude way to untangle my braid. So I did. Once she sat me down she was trying to charge me DOUBLE $120 for a cut and blow dry. I told her I didn't want a blow dry and she said $95. I'm 20yrs old and I know she was trying to take advantage because I look young and didn't think I would speak up. I got up and left. That's not ok. read more

I walked in and the first thing the owner told me as a customer, she did not even ask how I'm doing or anything other than to close the fly curtain behind me. Rudely I may say. I continue to do as she asked then I ask her, if she can trim my bangs and if I can have an estimate. She laughed and responded 500$. I knew she was joking. But that was a VERY unnecessary comment. I continue to ask if I can show her a picture. She rudely interrupted me cutting me off as I asked about showing her a picture and she said "oh yeah let me guess huh a picture right?" Well yeah of course. And I show her the picture of curtain bangs I wanted. Simple curtain bangs. She told me she can't to it exactly like that picture. If you walk in this salon with a picture. Just know they cannot do what you ask for, only "what you walk in with," is what she followed up with is what she's able to do. Don't recommend this store if you want kind service, and especially if you want to look like what you ask for. She doesn't know what she's doing clearly if you can't copy curtain bangs from a picture! Avoid this spot if you need a quick SIMPLE hair cut! Seemed like she made enough tips for the day and wanted to go home. Such a shame! read more

I went to best cuts bcz I just moved to the area and I needed someone that cuts curly hair. Faye is very nice but I came in on time for my appt and she was coloring someone's hair. She had me sit down and tell me how dry my hair was, which it is, and talked me into this "incredible deep conditioner". I assumed she did it to buy herself some time as she put me under the dryer for half hour so she could finish other client. If the conditioner worked, I would have been fine with it but it was obvious from the way my naturally curly hair was drying, that it was as not some great conditioner that would hydrate. She proceeded to cut my hair in a way I've never had it cut pulling all my hair from top of my head forward and cutting across. I have a shelf instead of blended layers. I would typically call and ask to have it fixed but I don't trust her to fix it. She was kind of enough to not charge me $30 for the conditioner but I won't be going back and I'll be wearing my hair up for a while;( read more
