Tammy is extremely talented. Before I went to Tammy, I had gone elsewhere to get balayage done over a year ago by someone who claimed they had years and years of experience. She even had excellent reviews on Yelp. My hair looked horrible. It wasn't blended well. The top looked dark and the rest looked orange. I was reluctant to try someone new so I was just waiting for it to grow out. Thankfully, when I went to Heads Galore to get my eyebrows done by Roya, who by the way is amazing, I saw how great her new haircut looked. She advised me that the owner of Heads Galore, Tammy, did it. The following week I went to Tammy for a long layered haircut and showed her a picture of how I want my balayage to look. Not only did she follow my instructions, but it looks even better than I expected. I am sooooo happy to have found Tammy. She is talented, professional, and a complete sweetheart. Doesn't hurt that she's totally reasonably priced. Tammy, thank you for fixing my horrible hair color and for the wonderful cut. I've gotten so many compliments. read more

I think this may be my next go-to salon in the valley! I found them here on Yelp and they were able to take me in right away for a color. Lida is a wonderful stylist and a lovely person. Everything is hip and clean and the decor is beautiful. They even offered me Armenian coffee while my color sets, which is always the way to my heart! This is my first visit--my girl Shila has moved to this location. Place is clean, hip & modern. Seems to be run professionally enough. Shila, the only colorist I ever go to btw, did a short, stylish bob on me. She doesn't often cut my hair because she prefers my hair long but when I do, I can trust her to follow through with my wishes and she does a fabulous job of it! This is the best salon in Northridge! I used to love Claudio's but that place closed. I read such great reviews of Heads Galore I decided to stop in and give them a try. A beautiful salon, with friendly very professional service. The stylists are all amazing! I love Lida. She gave me a great cut that makes me look younger. I've gotten more compliments then I can count. Tammy is amazing too, the day I stopped in to make my appointment I saw two of her clients and both looked fabulous. I recently had a horrible experience at a different salon when I went in for a haircut. The previous stylist left my hair so uneven and choppy. It was a mess. This place is great for both hair and facial services, especially for eyebrows! I noticed they also do nails, but I'm not one to get mine done, so can't tell you much about that. I'm a regular with Lida who does my eyebrows every few weeks. She definitely knows what she is doing and actually listens to you when you tell her you want them thicker or thinner. Not only does she fix them up nicely but you also get a bonus temple massage at the end :P I've also gotten my hair colored here and they did a great job with it! The color turned out great and exactly what i wanted. And what's even great is their prices are very affordable - definitely worth a visit. I know I'll be going back! read more

I just got my hair done my Tammy. I do not think anyone ever honored my request to "not chop it off just give me a little trim" request before! She was able to get all the split ends gone and give all the layers a good mixing and only cute off the smallest amount. (I wish I took a picture). Super fun and friendly staff. Went in today for my first visit. Everyone greeted me with a smile. I had an appointment with Jazmen. My hair was ruined by another stylist at another salon. She had left no layers and left my bangs choppy. First I got a hair wash by Lida. It was a nice little surprise to get a massage when she washed. I felt pampered. Jazmen then went to work. She gave me an amazing cut. My hair looks so much fuller and the layers look fabulous. She even managed to keep the length. Jazmen is fabulous. Even she has a fabulous look. Her hair looks fabulous.
